His first DA holds a soft spot for me. I couldn't believe it when I saw such detailed, articulated figures in store. Great, great times were had playing with figure.
Ultimate Edition Undertaker in his WM14 attire is my favorite. It was actually the first Mattel figure of my current collection (in two short months I put together a decent sized Mattel Attitude Era collection). When I originally collected wrestling figures, which that was from 2000 to 2003, The Undertaker from Smackdown Series 5 (Jakks) was my favorite figure. When I was 11 years old right after Christmas 2000, my mom took me to Toys R Us to spend my Christmas money and I remember leaving there with a Too Cool 3 pack and The Undertaker in his WMXV entrance attire which, back then, this level of detail was extremely impressive. That was exactly what I thought when I saw the Ultimate Edition Undertaker at Target a couple months ago which lead to me collecting figures again after so many years.
Lol similar story to mine and started around same time as you then14 months ago but I just went all over and have like every hogan now lol.

My personal favorite is the Undertaker Elite 27. Still one of my favorite figures of all time.
Kyle you throw more shows then wrestling holds titles.And yes I also view him as Mean Mark with his famous heart punch after walking off the top rope.
I'd like to see Mattel revisit The Undertaker from Survivor Series 1996. It's a very cool figure although his headsculpt is of an older Undertaker and 'Taker was significantly pale, just as pale as Paige during his SS96 match with Mankind. It's a fantastic figure but there is definitely room for improvements.
Do you ever remember those WWF Stomp series figures? I had an Undertaker and it came with weapons and body armor etc. They were really wacky but as a kid I thought they were awesome.

I have the network spotlight, the 95 masked taker, and the triple pack classic superstars with kane and Paul bearer. That was my final gift from my mom whom passed away so it holds a special place in my heart.
That’s a great list. I expected to see at least one Deluxe Aggression Taker on your list. There was a couple of amazing Undertaker figures in that deluxe line.

I think you low key snubbed the Canadian exclusive “posted” black and white ABA taker with the Vegenance poster as the figure card. Very underrated! Have you seen or heard of this one before?
That is biker taker not part of this list as I said this is only deadman taker. I own that figure and have talked about it in the channel. It is a Canadian exclusive
When you look back considering how many Hasbro variants were thrown out of Hogan, Warrior, Randy Savage, I always remember being gutted that we never got more variation in the Undertaker later releases.
Picture a second model in the mould of the Papa Shango figure, tall lanky figure, with the removable cloak and also a removable hat, for me that arguably would have been the game changer in the collection.
Looking back in hindsight that was my only qualm with the figures that came wearing hats, if only they had been removable like the LJNs then it would have been amazing.

Why it would be boring? Its interesting
I wonder if Taker has more figures than anyone else? The only ones I can think of that give him a run for his money are Cena and Rey. But Cena started 13 years after Taker and Rey had some time away from WWE. Taker also has the bonus of being there during the Attitude era where Jakks was pumping out product like crazy.
I think you named the big 3 but Cena had sooooo many basics he’s pretty high up the chain is my guess where taker has slowed some in releases

Number 6 I like the alternate hands and the different headsculpt to the prior version looks alright, I feel the cloth coat looks cheap and lazy though they have never gotten his coat right for that version anyway, sadly and I hate that they have never gotten the purple boot socks right either but especially them. Same when they made his WM13 attire where he went back to the grey for one night. The sculpt they use is accurate to his original grey attire but too loose and thick for his purple and grey 2.0 attire where they were tighter/more fitted. Also weird seeing him without gloves, so east to forget there was a period where he didn't wear any.
Undertaker evolved after buried alive match. That was awesom

Here I thought I was the only one to refer to the A.B.A/Deadman Inc./Big Evil/Boneyard version of "The Phenom" as the UnderBiker. XD

I just watched Summerslam 1991 when Taker beat Hogan. Next up This Tuesday in Texas
Hard to argue with DM 96 Undertaker at number one. I can’t believe how expensive that figure got, it was actually my first Mattel Undertaker and only like my third Mattel WWE figure. I got it from Big Lots for like $13, ended up getting a couple but they’ve been reused for customs, or repainted to have a bloody head in my stop motion matches...if only I had the hindsight to buy more and just keep them on ice haha.
If I had to pick a few figures on my personal “Best Undertaker” list, I would definitely tip my hat to Jakks Classic Deluxe WMXIV from the two-pack with Kane. I loved his 97-98 look, and that figure was about as good as I could have hoped for at the time. Plus pairing him up with regular Classic Superstars made him much taller and more imposing. That’s probably one of my favorite Jakks figures of all time.
Another would be the House of Pain TTL figure from Jakks. Not special these days, but back when it came out it was an unbelievable figure. He scaled better than other figures, the real scan head was excellent, and it was the first Biker Taker figure I remember getting. It was damn near perfect and to this day I love that figure.

It's must be very difficult to do a top 10 figures with guys they will always make. In every toy line over the years. That's partly the reason why I stopped collecting wrestling figures.
Defining moments, Hall of Champions and legends 9 are great.
Great list I think I can see:
92/93 grey gloves hair over face as an UE
2004/05 return to deadman in a WM line
2006-08 era maybe the RA line or Elite100
And also maybe a elite 1 updated in top picks
Early Taker scared me as a young child.
2003 Kane scared me as 6 year old.

The defining moments 3 Undertaker is great and I'm still stunned Mattel hasn't reused that headscan on any other Undertakers. The best Undertaker for me is the SDCC Undertaker since that was my favourite era Undertaker (Ministry) and Mattel hit that out of the park. I do have Jakks version in the CS3 assortment and the original titantron live 5 and it was awesome considering it originally came out in 2000. Another Undertaker that's great is the Jakks DA 2 pack brothers of destruction from WrestleMania 14 with soft goods with has become valuable MOC.

For me the best taker figure is the wrestlemania 35 elite taker! It has a cloth jacket and a hat. I would also put the wrestlemania 31 taker and the ultimate edition on this list, assuming it is up to date.

The Legends Taker is actually a re-release. Great video. As far as the Defining Moments figure, it said that Taker himself was inspired by the Batman movies for that entrance.
Kind of a re release but they are different and I prefer legends so not a straight re release

@@KylePeterson1980 Not my favorite, I'd probably go with the two defining moments for my favorites (96 and Ministry) because they look great and they're not imports, but it's a good third place because it actually looks like a tiny Undertaker person and can pose extremely well. So many of the Undertaker figures look so goofy in the face or the body proportions {or both), I'm not sure why he seems to be particularly challenging for figures, so the Figuarts was nice to actually see one that just looks like the man.
The big negative for me is that it isn't my favorite ring attire outfit for him. If he was wearing the outfit that the Ultimate series Taker has then it would probably be my number one.
