      It’s a well known trick hillwalkers and hikers use to quickly get waterproof trousers on without taking their walking boots off .

    For cold water diving, after you have put the suit on, and are just about ready to get in the water, I found that pouring some warm tap water into the suit, really helps to keep you warm, and the influx of the saltwater warms up that much quicker. It was like a luxury upgrade, of a prewarmed wetsuit, and no initial chill from any incoming water. (Try it, you will love it !!! ).

    I've always been swimming with sleeveless I'm now going with sleeves in a race. so to have full mobility with your arms is it better to have the kit not fully on is it better to leave it unzipped to your waist and then tuck it into the wetsuit your thoughts

    Is it normal to take longer than a half an hour to put one of these, or does that mean it is too tight?

      You can get them with the zip at the front, but they are not as common as the back zippered ones. The Beaver one that I use for winter swimming, is one of those with the zip at the front, which I prefer, as it makes it a lot easier near the end of a swim, to open the zip and let really cold water in, that’s keeping my body use to colder water, and minimising the amount of weeks or months I have to use it for.

    Why the zip needed to be at the back of the wetsuit?

    • @FaresKsebati
      @FaresKsebati  ปีที่แล้ว

      This helps the front stay as hydrodynamic as possible! Less resistance, and faster swimming. You also have a lower likelihood of getting water in the suit. Happy swimming :)
