At first glance, Alec's rig looks like a normal rig until you notice an elephant trunk worth of cables going from the main rig to the front end. Whatever could that be for? Well it allows the front end to telescope out many feet, maybe Alec could chime in with the number here. That's not all, the rear end telescopes as well. And well, that's not all. Tires off the ground, no problem, just lower them. Control arms rubbing? No problem just lift the cab up. Can't get traction? No problem, just push the front end out and traction can be found. This video is of the "Abnormal" rig going up and down Ballarina Rock on the Crowbar trail in Johnson Valley Ca. Also it includes Alec going up the hardest obstacle on Riffle Canyon in Johnson Valley CA. His rig is an engineering feat, way to go Alec on such a cool off road rig.
