Suprised they dont have trout, steelhead in streams, rivers, creeks, and more random fish in the sea. Maybe later? Also would be nice to see beahives for honey in woods, random chicken eggs. I mean you see chickens so their should be eggs. Also would be cool to see prepper supplies in off grid cabins in attics that you need bolt cutters to get into where canning jars, rice, beans in mylar buckets. Would make sense to find prepper staches, maybe not so many. Kelp to eat on the beach would add realism. Even shooting pheasant, qual, trapping squirrels. Hopefully later updates?

Honestly the biggest killer in this game (at least in my experience) is not knowing what you have. I once kept coughing and sneezing, so I thought that I had flu and cold, but then 3 days later, outta no where, I vomit, even though I had full water and hunger for 3 days, so I died

best insulation clothes, just dry yourself when the rain stops , the hunting stands have a lot of hunting clothes spawn on them , best insulation , rain coats dont keep you warm , keeping immune system high also by having stats high , also if you have multivit active you will never catch a cold , you can also drink any old water , eat any rotten food while multivit active

That said, this guy goes about explaining how to fish like he's talking to a noob, and that is what I was looking for. So many channels forget you don't know this or that and just assume stuff, so you have to watch 3 or 4 videos to get 1 point. Nice job!

Super well detailed and clearly executed. This video will be super helpful in my future for sure the only missing is maybe the percent rate for catching with and without a hook and if there is any difference between rods or hooks to that end, however all in all extremely helpful thank you

Hey there, great guide actually helped me out quite a bit. Anyways, I'm a little surprised you didn't cover bows+arrows as there are also really simple to make, and (unlike a good 'ol fishing rod) make a fabulous SHTF weapon...
My friends and I play on a private server, and we decided to use bone hooks as a currency to buying things from each other. nothin better than having chlorine tabs, canteen, and a fishin rod to literally eat food at anytime, anywhere there is a little shmidget of water :) a true ghillie mans paradise if you ask me lol
Good stuff dude. Its just a shame how simple was the 1.06 implementation. No fishing bottle trap or net. Zeroy-FishingZ mod is way more interesting that the official implementation.
