Metaphix it’s definitely high risk reward, as well as being impatient sprinting loud and proud cause you’re in a hurry to get military loot then die from hunger/thirst.

@@thekwillis2830 for Military Tents you should search like VMC and NWA Tents. Those are the best places. You can find the blue civillian tents in Novo. About the car tents: I myself didn't find a single one since 1.01.

buildings are not realated to type of loot rather the area in which the building is in.

The loot rarity has never really been "random" unless there was a bug in the past. You'll always realistically find the best gear in airfields/military bases or buildings.

@Dr Sanguine Sunrise it also bad becuase players will just camp the good loot spots and wait for anyone if it was random it just luck and I don't mean random random but like I wish there could be good loot at random locations every once in a while no tiers unless for certian buldings and spots you know? Oh well...
This video is my first impression of this producer AND this concept. I knew you can get better loot the more inland you go but I had no idea it was so defined. Furthermore, I didn’t quite realize the loot was so sectionalized. (Obviously, you’re not going to find NVG in a grocery store naturally but I didn’t know the loot was distributed quite this strictly. This is a tremendous help! Liked AND subscribed.

Finnally the video i was looking for. Ive been trying to find videos on how to find the best loot and guns. Every video i found have explained it by cities i wanta go to but im a n00b and dont know how to get to those cities and areas very well. The way u put it by tiers and areas those tiers are in like telling me to go farther inland to find the best loot was a huge help thank u very much i was getting ready to give up on this game cuz i can never find good loot such as food and guns cuz i didnt know it was in tiers and i didnt know to go inland i was starting to think this game was a waste of 40 buks

Step 1: Scavenge 1,000’s of miles for your first ask or m4 only to not find one.
Step 2: Uninstall dayz
I just started playing today. 1st life got spawned in a forest and died of thirst. 2nd life, i was killed by another player w an ax in a town, while trying to find food and water, all i found was a couple hats. On my 3rd life i found a back pack w a 9mm that had a light and suppressor, and all kinds of other supplies and next to it was was an m4 and some single shot rifle. Idk if it was a stash or what, but i put it all on my body and logged out. By all these stories im reading i feel like i should just quit now while im ahead.
@@smasher.338 Not the case, dayz has a steep learning curve, people arnt friends and nature is out to get you, if you feel you dont like that type of challenge then by all means uninstall but theres still such a strong player base who love this game myself included.
Go to community servers cuz they have loads of loot. Been playing for 30 mins and got a hinting rifle + pistol
Any u peeps have Xbox an want to make a group on this shit I just started an wasted my time for two hours meet up with a group first time playin an then two hours later while running with them they shoot me lol I mean like why waste all that time an food an water helping some one out to just shoot them in the back of the head while there running with u don’t make sense but looking for people to run with if any one on here would like to I new to this game an just like to meet couple peeps to run with a teach me some stuff
@@levilantz2385 I keep hearing all about this “steep learning curve”, but after actually playing the game myself, I’m honestly disappointed by how overexaggerated that *excuse* actually is. If you’ve ever touched a survival game (it’s 2021 so a majority have) this is no different. What sets it a part is how pitiful and downright broken the loot spawns are on official servers (especially on console) and how you can walk for 3 hours in-search of food, encounter not a single player despite having been put in a waiting que, find a hat instead of some water, then die because your guy was freezing and not even the coats will spawn. You eventually die so much that you realize official isn’t the way, wonder how all the popular TH-camrs like M1NDR and Sour always have gear, realize community servers are a thing, then switch. That’s about how deep the extent of this “steep learning curve” goes: play community.
Just getting into DayZ. This video alone has increased my chances of surviving when I'm in a group. Showed this to a small group I grind with and our callouts now when fighting in urban/populated areas has improved stupid amounts. Thanks dude✌️ +1 sub
I just started the game yesterday on Xbox one. I wondered the coast and searched small towns while doing so. While I was searching a town, I started finding decent gear, a shotgun (without ammo..) before I begun looting a building where I instantly found 3 stab(?) Vests then another one in a storage room, I was confused until a zombie coppa poofed outta nowhere from the lobby and jumped me in the cells area. That confirmed my thoughts of the building being an police station, but oh BOY did the zom-coppa scared me!

I’ve found Skorpion, MP5K, and military gear in tier 1 zone in that military camp and the apartments don’t ever have diddly squat in them. Also sure if your the first person on a fresh server restart to enter you can get this juicy loot but maybe at a cost so everyone who goes to military you always have like 99.99% a Chad is waiting for you.
Fun fact: Mosins most commonly spawn in Orange Stilted Houses, and IZH-43(double barrel shotgun) spawn in the wooden train cars. As well, the Revolver and Desert Eagle most commonly spawn in Vybor, in the Log cabin next to piano house. Thank me later.

Dupers have rights maaaaaan! Lol. No. No they don't. Crucify them. Though duping is too much of a pain in ass now, but expect high tier weapons to disappear if the root issue of respawn max isn't addressed, which I believe it isn't.

Plenty of civ buildings spawn weapons as well like the cr75, ij70, shotguns, bk-18, and you can find mosin in tier 2 houses. Mostly orange and green houses in komapobo are the most common houses to find them. Shotguns and bk-18s can also spawn inside of small double door sheds.

Maybe the recent patch changed something but I actually found the cargo pants that he was talking about in that exact military tent location in the t1 area yesterday lol. Yes it was an official server too
I've been playing the game for a few months so pretty new but already notice the changes in loot spawns every time they've patched the game. Useful tips I'd give beginners at this current time is certain loot spawns around it's main building if makes sense. If you're at a hospital make sure you check surrounding cars, garages and buildings closest to the hospital, as medical supplies will be in those places regardless of what type of loot should spawn at these placed. In zelenegorst for instance the train next to the military base now produces double loot, both industrial and military, probably a glitch due to how close the train is to the military campsite. Also the outdoor toilets seem to be a new goldmine that alot of players overlook, you'll find everything you'd normally find in garages plus bullets but without car part spawns. It's a go to place to find semi rare items, sharpening stones, nails, compass, small melee weapons, bullets etc. I usually find if I've spawned in a place already heavily looted these outdoor toilets have been overlooked. Cooked fat is super op. If u tap the drink button 27. Or maybe 28 times you'll be fully hydrated, you dont need to wait for each loading circle.
This is something they added in 1.05 I think which is kind of nice. Diligence can help you find something that a less careful player overlooked. In Elektro I often find guns on the scaffolding next to the police station and the surrounding houses.
I used to watch dayz videos but never owned the game, and recently I grouped up with some random people that were actually pretty cool. One of them was apparently a dayz expert, and knew every location. I think he took us to either tier 3 or tier 4 but we found some amazing stuff. Then the server data got wiped and now I don’t have that stuff anymore. :(
Fun fact: We started with 7 people, then before the server wiped, we had only 3 people.

Dope info! I have one question about the nvg’s though.. my friend was telling me it was only a pc mod. With that being said will nvg’s not be in the 1.04 update for console or is he just full of it?
I think he's wrong. Everything on PC should be in the 1.04 patch for console, including NVGs
@Thomas Power NVGs and tactical flashlights can be attached to the tactical helmet. Its super nice, they can be turned on by pressing or holding L which I LOVE
I've been running around tisy for the last three weeks and found nothing apart from bullets and camo gear.......no guns 🤬
That would be the cause of dupers, there can only be so many m4s, aks, etc on the map and the duper’s keep that number at max in tents and stuff. On the off chance they lose one, what are the chances you’ll be the one to find its replacement on the map?

That’s why you have to build up from Tier 1 to Tier 4, survive first and then live.

Bought the game.
First 5 games I died of starvation.
6th game took me two and a half hours just to get enough food, clothing and a frying pan.
Walked into a house, got jumped by two fresh spawns, knocked one out, then got knocked out.
Woke up to see the noob trying to hit me, got up and sconned him with the frying pan.
Beat them both to death and took all the food they had, then logged out for the day.
That’s my DayZ story.

M4's are super rare...tier 3-4 is were you'll find them. Don't expect to see them often. I hunted one for 2 weeks. You can find them occasionally at military tents and heli crashes.

You missed grocery stores and super markets, which can spawn civilian clothes, school back packs, compasses, seeds, plastic water bottle and cooking pots.
Also, the security buildings can spawn pistol suppressors that can be used obviously for pistols, but also on the submachine guns (mp5, UMP, skorpion(maybe they need Eastern suppressor, not sure)).
Also, also, you didn't mention suppressors at all.

What I've found out is the most important aspect to this game for new players is to lean and understand how this game works.
I wrote to Peter Nespeny telling him all the bugs I've been experiencing like water and food within 5 minutes I am dying and how there's no good food around to eat. Afterwitch, I was able to play almost an hour but the respawn is always in the woods. Tomorrow I'll buy Ancestors and put Dayz away until they fix the game note..when I put my disc in my xbox one I don't see and updates maybe that's only for pc players.

Every time i go into a house or anything all i find is like a jumpsuit and even those are pretty rare. Everything is cleared out of every house.
You should try a modded server (community servers), vanilla servers basically make it impossible to find anything unless you go north
Stab vests let you take a center mass shot without bleeding, just one though. Could be useful

I never heard about tiers. Loot was supposed to work on loot economy and Loot was supposed to spawn on coldest places meaning place were no player has been in the longest. It was supposed to be base on player location and not tiers so did they change that or what happened wtih loot economy?

During my first few days of playing 2 years ago, I was on a server with some friends and I went to those really tall apartments and found this fully loaded M4 with a magazine and started mowing down zombies.

Thank you for the tips I baught the game on ps4 and died within 10 minutes 6 times and I had no idea there were tier spots for loot I always die due to malnutrition or malnourishment

My favorite places to loot is the apartments northwest of chenarus because you’ll usually find a lot of dead and alive geared players
