The biggest issue with being introverted like myself is literally thinking about how other people perceive me and being shy at the same time. This literally reduces your self confidence
same. i can't even walk normally in front of other people, i literally forget how to walk because I feel like they're watching me even if i know that they don't care about me.
sometimes I wonder how many people accualy aren't introverted just shy or have social anxiety, it's interesting how we don't make a difference between an introvert and a shy person
True , as a introvert but not shy at all, I can speak for myself when needed and am confident starting convo if I want, it's just I ain't interested. People always assume introvert means shy , that ain't it honestly 😭
Being selective with your friends is a really important point. I used to have a friend that was sooo insecure, and I became insecure because of her. When I finally left I was able to heal my social anxiety and now going to school is okay.
So so true. If you spend too much time with negative people, it is difficult to now get influenced. I walked away from a friendship for a similar reason
Same there was this person who I used to sit with on the bus who would tell me sob stories and so many other sad things and one day I just said "I want to stop being friends" and I finally felt free and happy because I didn't have her influencing me, I still feel sad for her but I'm happy I got her out of my life
Same, i have this one friend who's a bit like.....argumentative and likes to prove herself right but she doesn't really know how to talk in a nice way, and i ignored it at first but it's becoming more and more that i don't like her because she turns every conversation into an argument and i'm honestly getting tired of her and have been thinking of dropping the friendship for a while.
@@srisra_br9o9a you’ve got this! She might not understand you and she might get offended or whatever but you gotta do it for yourself. Better people will come
Another thing that can help is changing the way you think about yourself. If you’re in an overwhelming situation just think “I’m overwhelmed,” instead of thinking “I want to die,” or “I’m so stupid.” Those negative affirmations become a self fulfilling prophecy
YES!!! Before perceiving I was depressed, I used to say a lot that I was shit, kinda "joking" 'cause I was feeling bad, and it just got worse. 🙃 I'm actually fine and don't treat myself like that.
I really liked how you spoke about the 'fake it till you make it' mentality here. Because as someone who struggles with low confidence and low self esteem a lot of ppl advised me to follow this but it just didn't work for me for some reason. So as an introvert this video has truly helped me a lot. Thank you
It's even harder sometimes to accept yourself as an introvert. I also even tried to become more confident and be myself but sometimes it hits us hard when we are in a social environment and people want us to be like them and have the same enegetic level as them.Even idk i even only met those people who drained my energy which literally affected me a lot.But i'm trying my hard to be my best self everyday so that i don't feel bothered by anyone and be happy in my own
I feel like I'm starting to transition into an extrovert the more i improve myself. I feel more confident in my own skin which leads me to not care about other peoples opinion, not being afraid to talk, and talking just for fun and building connections asking people questions and making them smile whilst smiling yourself makes life less monotonous and boring for me
you can still be an introvert doing all that, introverts mean you need to be alone to recharge after social events. You can be talkative, confident and social while being an introvert too. Changing from introvert to extrovert is normal aswell.
I rarely ever speak to anyone in my class other than this one person, usually like to stick to myself in a corner everyone was basically chill with me until one day the "troublemaker" of our class was throwing pieces of chalk at my benchmate and kept on hitting me instead- I somehow I went up to them (probably over like half a foot taller) and basically threatened them and scolded them about how shit of an aim they had, how they're so dumb to even think they could hit accurately from so far etc while backing them into a corner, because I just wanted to sit and read in a corner but they wouldn't let me FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR IF THEY DID LITERALLY ANYTHING THAT MIGHT HAVE ANNOYED ME THEY KEPT APOLOGISING AND LITERALLY BACKS AWAY FROM ME?? My 2 minutes of confidence has saved me hours of just being tolerant. the fact that I never threaten anyone made this more impactful so yes

This person doesn't know how to dance, but they are in gathering where they are required to. Despite not knowing how to dance, they will give it a shot and won't care if they are being GOOD at it or whether people are laughing, at them. They are confident in being themselves and don't care about anyone. All i wanna say is, it's great to improve yourself and acquire skills, but don't tie your confidence to any achievement, please. I came to know the hard way after being an academically bright student, when one time I couldn't score as much as I expected to and got depression after that. You are enough in yourself, you don't need to make a personality just to show others, just being true to who you are, accepting and improving yourself is great. I know it was long, I don't know why I wrote it, I never write, but if you're still reading I hope it was helpful.

Thank you so much. I spent the last 5 years in a class of people who judged me because I don't talk much, I started to become really awkward because I was scared that people would hate me for being silent so I learnt how to talk more than necessary even though I don't like it. Now I have 2 close friends and the rest are just people I'm forced to talk to, thankfully I'm finishing school this year so I can become more independent and work on improving my personality
Idk if im introverted or just shy, i always want to talk to people in school but I never know what to say and I'm not confident enough to talk to them, at the same time I'm also perfectly happy on my own
Excellent method to articulate these points as always. We can truly learn to tackle our internal and external challenges with the simple concepts of developing personal competency, effective communication (additionally reflects the principle to listen more rather than speak to develop an edge in confidence), supporting yourself with a more appropriate social dynamic with few yet strong friendships, and embracing your introversion.

Grass is a plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in a lawn and other places. Grass gets water from the roots in the ground. Grasses are monocotyledon, herbaceous plants. The grasses include the "grass", of the family Poaceae (also called Gramineae). Also sometimes it is used to include the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae). These three families are not closely related but belong to different clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a common life-style. The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, sprouted grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatching thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others. Many grasses are short, but some grasses, like bamboo can grow very tall. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places, even if they are very cold or very dry. Several other plants that look similar but are not members of the grass family are also sometimes called grass; these include rushes, reeds, papyrus, and water chestnut. Grasses are an important food for many animals, like deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars, and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows. Without grass, dirt can wash away into rivers (erosion). Graminoids include some of the most versatile plant life-forms. They became widespread toward the end of the Cretaceous. Fossilized dinosaur dung (coprolites) have been found containing grass phytoliths (silica stones inside grass leaves). Grasses have adapted to conditions in lush rain forests, dry deserts, cold mountains and even intertidal habitats, and are now the most widespread plant type. Grass is a valuable source of food and energy for many animals. Lawn grass is often planted on sports fields and in the area around a building. Sometimes chemicals and water is used to help lawns to grow. People have used grasses for a long time. People eat parts of grasses. Corn, wheat, barley, oats, rice and millet are cereals, common grains whose seeds are used for food and to make alcohol such as beer. Sugar comes from sugar cane, which is also a plant in the grass family. People have grown grasses as food for farm animals for about 4,000 years. People use bamboo to build houses, fences, furniture and other things. Grass plants can also be used as fuel, to cover roofs, and to weave baskets. In English, the word "grass" appears in several phrases. For example: "The grass is always greener on the other side" means "people are never happy with what they have and want something else." "Don't let the grass grow under your feet" means "Do something". "A snake in the grass" is about a person that will not be honest and will trick others. Grass is sometimes used as a slang term for cannabis (also called pot, weed, or marijuana) Thanks 💯🔥✨
I’m a really social and ambitious person but I am introverted in the literal sense. A tip that i give is get a friend group that you truly feel confident in; I truly changed socially, had a glow up and became much more confident just by hanging around other people!

1:25 Your receive is off because you are not facing the direction you are supposed to received towards. You are also rushing the receive, you should try to guide the ball towards your partner using your legs, sorta like a squat. You should wait for the ball to land on your forearms so it can fully absorb the impact, not contact the ball with your forearms before it lands. Btw I think the girl was receiving towards your teammate, the other girl.

For the always say less than necessary part I actually lived my entire life thinking the opposite way and I always thought that if I keep silent that’s why I’ll appear less confident 😢 you are saving the pour little introvert I am 😭😭🤧
recently got introduced to your channel and I have watched 3-4 vdos of yours but today this vdo is posted exactly when I needed something like this ...well I'm confident in myself and being quite or introverted but people around me tell me speak more socialize ,why don't you ,she doesn't talks hmph..and sometimes I get affected by their these behaviour like today I cried over a similar thing ..IDK if it's truly a prblm or not ..cuz I haven't faced any 'real' problem by being an introvert but people around me say so that you'll be in problems bcz of being an introvert so talk more socialize more otherwise who would help you who would like you and what not but I don't see it coming neither have I faced anything like that ..IDK
Started watching you a while ago, I think when I started I had about a B in every class. Now my lowest grade is a 94, and I'm no where near as stressed as I once was.
As an extrovert who initially did use the fake it til you make it strategy, I have actually been working on dialing it back, so yeah I’m definitely trying to talk less frequently and only if it adds genuine meaning to the conversation.
I miss the days when I was such an extroverted little kid. It’s brings back happier memories I still have a lot of good friends, but I wanna be more confident in myself and my abilities. I realize I care more for others than my own well being. Which is a mistake I should care more about myself and then care for others. I think of my self as an introvert who can socialize with his friends, but with other people that’s hardly the case. Also I do notice in my class people look at me as if I’m emitting an aura 😂 or something cause I’m quiet and mysterious no one would have any clue what I’m thinking of when the teacher asks a question I answer and get it correct and my classmate just look at me. I always think actions speaks louder than words.
In my highschool we have 6th periods I only feel alone in my last period class. That’s where my brain function cause other class I find boring. But still I understand.
God, I'm so introverted, that I'm so passive at work. I work in retail. Rather than being the active salesperson who'd approach a customer who's looking for something, I'm more of a "Maybe if I stand at a respectful distance from this customer, he/she'll ask for my help"
I'm a rare breed of introver-extrovert. I'm an ambivert. so there are times when I'm shy and reserved, and times where I'm loud and weird with people I love. But I love all people... except annoying obnoxius ones. they give me headaches. LITERALLY.
In history class, you were only required to write 4 sentences on each test... I wrote entire essays, that covered like 2-3 entire papers. My history teacher even asked me to stop writing such long responses, she even just started giving me gold starts on tests. She also said in all of her years of teaching, several decades worth. I wrote the best test answer she had ever read. Saying it was college level. I have a massive confidence ego in history.
I literally had a fight with my mother about this topic a minute before I watch this............ANNND THESE WERE THE EXACT SAMMMME THINGS WE WERE TALKING ABOUTTTTTTTTT
The problem is that I'm a bit of a weirdo and I try to be normal and stuff like that but it doesn't help and I sometimes talk to myself when other people are near and it makes me look like even a bigger weirdo. Idk what to do about that and also I do have the friend problem. I know I've never had real friends. They all leave. They all distance themselves because I don't approach them. I'm an introvert and I always hope as they are extraverts they will understand that it is physically and mentally hard for me to approach them. They never do and I know it's my fault. I'm also trying hard to be liked by everyone but that also doesn't go well cause before I had a friend who was not on good terms with another girl I was kinda friends with (it was fake friendship) and now that the friendi had is gone the other girl seems to really hate me not showing it ofc however maybe it is only her personality cause I was trying to approach her a little and her personality is very toxic, everyone i know can agree that shes a clsssic mean and toxic girl. Sorry that too long but I've really got nobody to talk to so this is my story
Confidence can come from willpower and willpower is a skill that can be trained If you can set a goal and achieve it no matter the struggle, that goal can be getting confident If you can't, train the willpower first, set a smaller goal and get back to it when your willpower is strong enough People exhaustion tho is entirely different beast I still get tired after an hour of talking on uni fair or a day out with friends 😂
My social skills just suck, and i have some kind of social anxiety before. For a whole 2 years, i didnt make a single real friend. And that’s all because i am nervous to be around people.

Not to be rude or anything but not being able to look someone in the eye is more of a sign of being autistic or socially anxious. Not of an introvert

For example:
"The grass is always greener on the other side" means "people are never happy with what they have and want something else."
"Don't let the grass grow under your feet" means "Do something".
"A snake in the grass" is about a person that will not be honest and will trick others.
Grass is sometimes used as a slang term for cannabis (also called pot, weed, or marijuana)
Thanks 💯🔥✨
as a introvert w/ heavy social anxiety problems the story with the basketball is so relatable😭 (have done with a textbook before)
You literally put the right video at the right time . Thankyou
I’m a really social and ambitious person but I am introverted in the literal sense. A tip that i give is get a friend group that you truly feel confident in; I truly changed socially, had a glow up and became much more confident just by hanging around other people!
I think now I am not even here for the real tips but for him...HE IS FR ATTRACTIVE BRO

Your receive is off because you are not facing the direction you are supposed to received towards.
I like the comedy. It's not over the top, but not forced. It's having fun. I likey.
"-and then opens a scroll and goes 'hear ye, hear ye'" *immediately dies of laughter*
I am an extrovert but I like someone who is an introvert and your video popped up because I've been trying to understand him more. It is very interesting, but I still don't know what to do tbh.. but I will support and subscribe to your channel. Good luck and keep it up!

Btw good vid, actually this will probably help me in the future, so I will try actually following these tips.
yeahh i agree with everything and ive had the same mindset js want to get out of my comfort zone tho and talk to random people at school
ive always been an introvert my whole life but in the last two years, i really tried to hard to become into an extrovert- im almost succeed but i think this is not the thing i want to be, but what the others want me to be. i don't know why did i cared about what do they want me to be in the first place.
I see now the viewers are increasing .
Many people are getting to know about self-improvement, because of you😊
You should make a complete guide on self-improvement please .🎉
Yeah, that would be so cool!:)
You are making an excellent work , keep it up !
This brother literally gave me the motivation to work out for the first time in my life lol
8:22 Real Friends?? How?? That's tough
Thanks!!! Love this video and all the suggestions!!
I love your videos man thanks for the new upload
The vid is pretty relatable to me, I hope I follow the same and come out better. And keep up the work buddy it was really good.
this litrally motivated to change myself a bit cs im in like my last high school grade and dont wanna be like this for the last yr too
I needed this, made my day
I don't want "dark confidence" if I wouldn't even be able to ask to grab my ball real quick.
I'm introverte but with most confident personality now, but before I was just shaking for everything, communication, speech, eye contact 😅
But still I understand.
me waiting for umahhh in the end of every video.
This makes me think I'm not an introvert
"wise men speak because they have something to say, fools because they have to say something"
god-damn
I always felt like being quiet was offensive, I'm very happy that is not the case, now I know its not weird to not have anything to say to someone.
Purple looks good on you :)
i freaking knew all this all i have to do is apply nowwww well a goood reminder though thanku
Love your videos man! Working on my self improvement too
Confidence can come from willpower and willpower is a skill that can be trained
If you can set a goal and achieve it no matter the struggle, that goal can be getting confident
If you can't, train the willpower first, set a smaller goal and get back to it when your willpower is strong enough
People exhaustion tho is entirely different beast
I still get tired after an hour of talking on uni fair or a day out with friends 😂
Don’t tell people your goals: “keep it private until it’s permanent”
My social skills just suck, and i have some kind of social anxiety before. For a whole 2 years, i didnt make a single real friend. And that’s all because i am nervous to be around people.
I was FREAKING about to search this topic!
This dude's got charisma for real
Ruff i love your videos man but "dark confidence" on the thumbnail 😂
Introversion doesn’t equal social anxiety, which is what you described at the beginning. Other than that, great vid!
"Or he kicks puppies in his past time maybe not"
Well that took a dark turn-
I'm the biggest extrovert ever, but this video helped me a lot.
For rough times, ruff videos
Really not me i watched every single video of urs but forgot to subscribe 😭😂
