shout out to my guy Jae for the original title, i asked him if i could use it and he said he didnt know if he even came up with it in the first place lmao
shout out to my guy Ruff for letting me steal his quote and the study cycle concept i think i came up with it, dont think anyone's got an earlier video with the same title (i could be wrong)
watched the full thing today and honestly the “it’s never been easier to win, but it’s also never been easier to do nothing” is so real, I’m just a kid with an iPhone camera too and like I can just sit on my couch and scroll for 2 hours straight with zero consequences (other than my progress) fr
As an ambitious aspiring mangaka, no wonder I see no results so fast. I have been drawing, and writing, and drawing, and writing FOR MONTHS, I second guess these goals, it was really painful, but still keeps going, no signs of giving up. Thank you for reminding me, it is really motivating I am really halfway there! Never been easy to win!
I am like you. I also want to be a Mangaka in the future. I feel good knowing I’m ‘already halfway’ there. It’s all a process I just have to believe in.
7:12 I LAUGHED I PROMISE PLEASE DON’T HURT ME RUFF Thanks for the knowledge though, this video was oddly well timed in my life. Was just thinking about properly taking action.
"technology gives us a window into ambition, but shackles us with laziness and consumption." I really like that. This was an incredible video, but that part resonated with me the most. As an artist at heart, I frequently find myself wanting to dive into everything, whether music, art, languages, handcrafting, cooking literally anything that sparks my interest. My biggest proof of this quote you said is my stack of unfinished animatics/storyboards of all kinds of ideas inspired by shows, songs, games, that I have sitting around my gallery. I can pump them out like nothing, one second I have this cool idea that pops up in my brain and I instantly note it down or sketch it, then I might start the refining process, and then I just stop. Like, the animatic is planned, the image of the whole thing is HD crisp in my brain, and sometimes I get pretty far into drawing it, but it is SO rare that I actually manage to complete one! One thing I've noticed is that I tend to seek inspiration from other people that had similar ideas or that draw in a style I really want to achieve, so like any other fellow artists, I just go on Pinterest (or Social media platforms) and then I stumble into a vortex of incredible art and I get lost in all its beauty and woopsie daisy my energy for my animatic vanished, and then I cry. I've tried to put a halt to this behaviour, but my god is it difficult. Picking up 3 or 4 references and going back to drawing feels so bizarre to me. I've noticed this in my academic side as well. I see myself as a "studious but not overly studious" person. I simply want to put out something that I'm proud of, that will guarantee a high grade, that is creative and that is enjoyable for my classmates and teachers. However, every time I'm asked to pick a theme for a presentation or essay my brain literally crashes into the galaxy. It's like I'm aware that there is SO much out there already, so how am I supposed to write on the exact same thing?? Picking articles is like picking a fruit. THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD ONES?? It's a real blessing and curse to have so much ambition but not enough motivation to accomplish goals. Add procrastinator and perfectionist to the mix, and you have a good bowl of crisis. Also that joke you made was funny, I swear I laughed the first time, and the video is really insightful, thank you!! And to anyone that read this block of mumbo jumbo, thank you so much, I hope you got a laugh out of it, and just tell yourself that there is no better time than now!! Ideas that stay in your head remain thoughts, but if you get 1% out there, that's already an amazing start because your ideas are blossoming into plans!! ヽ(^▽^)ノ
You are right! I thought about so many things , i know the roadmap , i know how to do it , i know what will be the result, I know the possible outcomes or setback but the only thing i lack is "execution"...i sometimes feel like there is a wall between "surface or outside me" and "inner me".....and then i think "if only i were able to overcome this wall" and this is so frustrating cuz there is no one i can talk to or share my thoughts...( Even if i do its not like they gonna understand me or take me seriously 😒)....thx bro , i think if i watch you I might able to get any idea to overcome that fking "wall"🙃
Ruff, maybe here's an idea for your next banger: 'The Secret Life of Procrastination: Turning Delays into Wins.' Imagine breaking down how laziness can sometimes hide creativity and how we can transform even the most unmotivated moments into breakthroughs.
To add to everything that was said here, a good idea would be to break that goal into chunks; think about it like a game-leveling system. You start from zero and you keep improving; you put time into it. And as you get better, remember to be happy that you've made it that far; be grateful; don't be so critical about where you are and how far away you are from where you want to be; be grateful that you've made it this far. I think sometimes as people we're so critical about where we are and how far away it is from where we want to be that we forget to remember that we're a lot better off from where we once were, and we forget to be grateful about the fact that we've come a very long way from the bottom, so have some self-love random internet strangers and best of luck in life. I'm rooting for you all 😁
hello ruff, can you make a video abt mental health? i find your videos comforting like therapy, my mental health is so bad it would help if you just talked about mental health or something. i love your videos and they comfort me, its like therapy.. im so tired.. i just want to sleep and never wake up again.. its completely fine if you dont want to or cant i understand but can i get a heart or reply? i love your content and it helped me idk its helpful.. sorry if i disturbed you
I will too become better in everything i want to become good at this is a time capsule message for my future self. There are alot of problems but overall i am very blessed i need to look on the bright side of things and eventually there will be no darkness at all.
Help! I currently self-study everything with recorded materials for my final year of school Some videos I take between double and triple the duration to finish, as I study/ repeat parts for deeper understanding while watching. How could I fix this as I have a lot of stuff to finish a bit too much.
I don't know much, but try having adequate breaks, active recall sessions to shorten passive reading and go harder (less time, more learnt) and draft strategies based on each subject
Two? There are many now. Almost all self improvement youtubers "copy" the same title when they see that it is gaining more and more attention these days. P.s nobody really owns a title
@@Cyy_era So brother is it OK to "copy" same title and make video on them ? ,See I think that there must be some original content ,NOT a copy of others.
@blexed.833 dawg it's just a title, it's not like he "copied" the whole content. Did you say anything when you saw those "How to become THAT girl" typa titles trending on YT and everywhere? It's just like that p.s look at his pinned comment, he did mentioned who he took inspiration from.
Rhyming/rhymed in simple word, in songs each lines rhymes right which is an bar , so whenever ruff's sentences rhymed he says bars bro, good luck in board i too have and started from scratch man 🥲

The airplane analogy was the best.....The way you co-relate situations make lot more to understand and evaluate the weak points 👍
