Nice to see you back I thought you gave up on us I remember one of those old tubs and an old farm house I lived in as a kid it sat basically in the middle of the room I think the toilet went with it it had a high tank that was mounted up on the wall with a chain that you pulled maybe you can find something like that to go with it
The standard clawfoot tubs are 5 1/2', it's rare to find a 6' footer or a 4 1/2" footer. I restored em myself and it's not easy !! I had a paint/sandblast guy who did the finish work....people bought em up quick !!! The legs are a pain when moving into the bathroom. I've put one in almost every place I've ever lived. In this house I bought a 6' clawfoot "soaking" tub from Kohler for $1200. First one I had to pay $$ for....the hardest part is moving them !!
How did you get the claw feet back on the tub? I have one almost exactly like but 3 of the claw feet were already broke off whenever I got it. Thanks alot

Mix 1 gallon of hot water with 2 tablespoons of dish washing soap (anything with a grease cutting agent will work) Use a soft rag or sponge to dip into the soap mixture and scrub the tub or sink Rinse well. Move up to a soft-soap or soft gel type cream cleanser for really tough sections. another option may include urethane-acrylic / enamel coating treatment(s), but that may be optional. Hope that helps!
Nice job. Wish you were a neighbor; I'd borrow your sand blaster! What year is the tub? Is there a second video showing how you cleaned up the inside? Would like to see that one, too. Your claw feet are much more ornate than mine. I've got the claws but not the fine scroll work, which makes your claw feet look pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing your work!
