Really have missed this channel as there's something therapeutic about seeing a vehicle transformed such as this which looks now like it's just rolled off the assembly line ! Bloody brilliant Sir 👏 👌 😊
@@everydaydetailing6449 Easy mistake. Pol Star is brilliant. I use it a lot. Both inside my car and inside my house. The car turned out really nice. Looks like new🙌
Im a big fan of detailing myself, and I have watched MANY different cardetail-content creators.. NO ONE is as good as this, I watch every single video you post and I always seem to come back here. So glad you are back :)
I really appreciate that! I'm far from the best and don't claim to be, but in this price range and age bracket, I've done the job long enough to be pretty good at it :)
Wow your videos have popped up after a while. I love watching your full videos but can appreciate you’re a busy man. Keep up the good work. Look forward to more videos. 👍.
@@everydaydetailing6449 I'm sure I'm not only speaking for myself but for majority of your subscribers, we really enjoy your videos, simple yet entertaining narration, please stay around this time! 😃
Well hello... Beck for good or for a few uploads as last year? Sorry that you don't post more often, you are one of few that are the wery best there is...
Aay! Glad to have you back mate! Hopefully this time for good! Always loved watching your channel..best detailing series out there for sure! Hope the next few vids are longer like they were before but understand time constraints etc. it may be worth doing longer videos less often like once a month instead of weekly shorter ones ?
Same here. Always looked forward to the videos then they suddenly disappeared. While these 'shorts' are welcome I would also hope to get back to some longer ones
Great to see you back! Been waiting 10 months for the 20 year old boxer van that I expected the next week 😂(yeah I did have to re watch that audi video to remind me)
The boxer was filmed a year ago lol !!! I need to edit it which is a marathon in its self some 12-15hr's + of editing, which with the 2-3 days to film .. is sadly not viable on a regular basis as advert revenue on youtube is low, and these are produced at a loss. It will be a xmas vid probably :)
@everydaydetailing6449 that is a real shame, the time it takes to create content and it doesn't pay enough to make it viable. I, and many others like the content but if you aren't paid much it for it understand why you haven't put much out there.
Just discovered you’re back! Keep up the good work, I really like your videos 😊 Ever thought about buying, detailing and selling these cars by yourself? You’d deserve to keep more of the money involved!
I remember my neighbor had a older, smaller red Citroën van, and originally it was bright red but over the years the paint had made it more a very light red, mixed with white… so yeah, faded. So we tried one day to polish a part on the side of it, and that already made a big difference. He used some kind of wax, I don’t know which as its been many years ago. He never got around to doing the whole car, so he drove it with the still faded paintjob and then that spot. 😂 But I can recommend doing it, even without tools (altough it takes a lot longer time). It makes a difference, for sure. 👍
Just found your channel, is that a medium or hard pad you used ? Doing a white berlingo thats dull and has sign ghosting , people say clay first ,others say 5k or 7k wet and dry ? What fo you suggest thanks
Hi I usually use 5-6 pads on this sort of job, and then wash them all at the end, I do a lot of machine polishing so have 10 or so pads on the go at any one time.
Bit of both .. sadly the 20+mins vids, in all honesty cost me money, I lost £800 on the Audi video last year in lost time/effort as a self employed person.
It would be good if you showed a clip of what it is your explaining as your explaining it im a painter trying to learn more about detailing your videos are good but I’m finding my self getting lost at some points haha and left wondering what your talking about
80% of the time yes, some 10% won't, and the other 10% if the van has lacquer due to being a metallic paint, some times the paint has been UV damaged/faded under the lacquer and the ghosting from the stickers can't be removed.
Really have missed this channel as there's something therapeutic about seeing a vehicle transformed such as this which looks now like it's just rolled off the assembly line ! Bloody brilliant Sir 👏 👌 😊
Thanks David :)
Good to see you back!

Glad to have you back! Short and sweet 👍 KC Pol Star is a ph neutral detergent. KC Plast Star is a dressing. Both products is excellent 🙌
100% correct I did get that wrong in the video narration!

Working on it!
Thats incredible that is!
Nice to see you back at it. Was that a single stage paint cause the pad went blue?
I remember my neighbor had a older, smaller red Citroën van, and originally it was bright red but over the years the paint had made it more a very light red, mixed with white… so yeah, faded. So we tried one day to polish a part on the side of it, and that already made a big difference. He used some kind of wax, I don’t know which as its been many years ago. Awesome job as always EDD!
Do you clean out the pad as you go . If ve seen other details blow out the pads as they go
Usually I go though 4-5 pads and then wash them all at the end, as a rule I have usually 10 pads in use at any time.
Great job! How often do you change / wash the polishing pad? That's the only thing I never get from detailing videos! Cheers
Hi I usually use 5-6 pads on this sort of job, and then wash them all at the end, I do a lot of machine polishing so have 10 or so pads on the go at any one time.
I just watched the engine cleaning shorts, a few questions; What de-greaser do you use, do you diluted it and if you do what dilution ratio?
green star koch chemie 1:10 for general purpose (interior etc) 1:5 for grubby area's
HES BACK
long time no see more videos mate

Where were you?
having a break from youtube :)
You have spray painted the steel wheels as well 💪
Customer had already done that, prior to new trims :)
@@everydaydetailing6449 Damn, thought I was on to something there. Because we are used to you doing that! Nvm :)
Does that method remove ghosted images from old sign writing?
80% of the time yes, some 10% won't, and the other 10% if the van has lacquer due to being a metallic paint, some times the paint has been UV damaged/faded under the lacquer and the ghosting from the stickers can't be removed.
Did you do the roof? 🤔
usually only the front section (above the cab) 99.9% of customer wont pay for the roof to be cleaned/machine polished
Where have you been 😢
