- Today I restore faded headlights/re-paint neglected alloy wheels, paint caliper and much more!
In 9 min this little Ford fiesta gets a mini makeover.
It's a disaster detail with a difference, with scratch removal and paint correction. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
These are my favourite kind of details. I enjoy seeing old cars saved. It’s way better for the environment to keep existing products going for as long as possible. Well done, the end result looks great
Glad you enjoyed it
glad to see you back
You saved that old car, she looks awesome! I hope she finds another owner that will love her! Great job!!!
If I were to have a TH-cam channel this is what I’d do too. Bring back cars from the brink to give a few more years service to someone on a budget. Well done and keep it coming.
Your ethos on this type of vehicle is spot on.. Entirely the correct attitude and appropriate approach for low carbon motoring.. Thank you..
Something therapeutic watching on a quiet Sunday morning with a cuppa tea 🍵 seeing you work your magic on another car that badly needs! Excellent work mate keep up the great channel 👍 🎉
I have learned a lot about keeping my cars clean with this channel
Outstanding work
What a transformation of the wheels ❤
Lets keep on saving these old cars and keep them on the road.😊
Nice job on the fiesta
Glad your back doing videos again, that car turned out looking great 😃
Nice work
Top quality job as usual.
Brilliant you’ve saved this car and I’m sure the new owner will be pleased 👍🏻
Officially my favourite TH-cam channel. Your content is fantastic, and I have learnt a lot from it. Thank you.
Glad you enjoy it!
Fantastic video. Great to see how you fix alloys.
I think it’s great as well to Dave a car from junk or landfill.
Looking forward to next weeks video 😊
Thanks 👍
Hey I didn't think you made videos again. You do the absolute best and I really enjoy your videos.
Totally enjoyed watching this episode lovely job. Real car and real car cleaner ace .😊
Great job as always Phil
Amazing results, this car was totally transformed, well done❤.
Very nice job. Well worth it. Thanks for sharing.
really nice job
Great video. Can’t wait for the next one.
Great video as always.
Look forward to that time of week when your videos usually drop.
Good to show the process of refurbing alloys 👍🏻
All the best
Thanks 👍
Nicely done. Callipers on my 2012 Fiesta have rusted. Seeing how easy & straightforward it is in painting them, might just give it a go 🙂
Amazing transformation 👍🏼
Thank you!!
What a beautiful car and job on it.
Great video as always, definitely best detailing channel and the only one iv seen where you can do more such as when refurb etc. 👍
Thanks 👍
Another great video
Those wheels turned out well 👌🏼🧱👍🏼
Lovely job.
Many many thanks
That’s quite a change!
Soooooo glad you are back, hope you are doing well mate 😊😊👍👍👍👍👏👏👏
Thanks 👍 Good to see you in the comments again!
Top job mate 👍
Thanks 👍
Excellent!
Ah its the best time of the year where you drop 4-5 videos and than sadly vanish until next year😢
Hello, another brilliant video, what a difference that has made to the car,one back on the road to use.
Thanks 👍
A treatment alot of older cars should get before being sent to the crusher. Save them! We love to watch.
Great control as always. I've seen my mates destroy the 2.5 too easily. It is nowhere near as durable as an MT10.
It’s backkkk
I think you're the best. Let's save more old cars and stop making new ones. Let's be like Cuba. They survive ok.
That’s a stupid thing to say let’s be like Cuba. Do you think Cubans want to live like that, a proud nation but still getting held back by the missile crisis of the 1960’s
@@petewatson9866you know any Cubans personally or been to Cuba? Just getting film crew to go to the poorest and deprived parts of Cuba doesn't count.
How high are you?
All I was saying was that we live in a throwaway first-world society, some of us. Can't believe that this Fiesta was going to be scrapped. If we look after our old cars and service them, they should last for years.
They all live like that in Cuba, it’s a communist dictatorship
One Day of work and the car is + 500-700€ more worth. Very nice
you're not dead!
Yeah
It's weekend and we have a new video
Thanks dude
Have a nice one
You too
Not a bad little 1st car for somebody, i prefer the Corsa D, much cooler and better car.
i have one with halfleather, AFL Headlights, cruise control etc..
Dude i love your videos and your voice is very soothing.
Hello from MD-Detail, Croatia! :D
Thanks for the kind words :)
Hi when you respray the wheels, do you do respray the other side of the wheels, as iv watched every eheel been done , but never seen anyone do the other side.
And also when engine cleaning is it normally advised to cover surtain parts of the electrics? As some times this can cause a few issues when restarting.?
Cracking job that. Do you not give the headlights a quick coat of lacquer to stop them going yellow again?
Yes a ceramic coat or clear coat will prevent them fading quicker!
Getting the wheels powder coated would have been better. Tyres off, acid stripped, sanded smooth and powdered. Not very expensive and makes the wheels last much longer and look amazing. It’s the first thing a lot of second had dealers do to make a car look better so they can charge a lot more for it.
Not giving the headlights a good layer of protection after polising, will result in faded haedlights again in a couple of months ... You can ceramic coat them, so the plastic will keep clean and fresh for longer, but I really prefer to use a 2K clear after sanding.
Very nice job here! How do you protect the headlights after polishing them?
You can apply a ceramic coating or clear coat!
Lovely job as usual…!
What do you do with the back of the wheels when refurbishing??
To be honest there are types of refurb, full strip down tyre removed, chemically stripped! and the whole wheel painted, which is by far the better job!
However most traders opt for the cheaper option of just repainting the face! Some of these older cars, the rear of the wheel's are still left in primer, they only painted the face from factory!
Thanks for coming back ! I assumed the same! Speed is of the essence here!
Thanks again!
It’s great to see you back again!
In past video's the blue lift ramp was missing, did you get it serviced?
Nice clean up on the car as per usual 👍
Hey :) sausages
I've put a community post out about why!
@@everydaydetailing6449 👍
Awesomeness 👌
Thanks 🤗
Hi Jim, do you have a name for the tire shine you use? Is it silicone/petroleum based?
its been discontinued, but apparently car pro's tyre dressing is very good!
For me the old cars were the best
What trim restore do you use after a good one thanks
Concept chems "vista"
Don't you put something on the headlights to protect them from UV? I've found they go milky again within a few weeks without it.
Will last longer than a few weeks, Months in all honesty, but yes a ceramic coat or clear coat will give more longevity
If u painted the wheels white 😮
didn't you delete any videos? Ford Focus detail
Please see the community post :)

An amateur cannot refinish diamond cut wheels. Only a pro
OR the customer has chosen to have them re-painted in silver after all its their car and their choice, not your or mine ;)
Why A: It's a cheaper option.
B: will last longer as polished wheels will fester and peel again quicker
If you want to see a video of me re-polishing a diamond cut wheel see the link below
