The Spanish friars (Catholic priests) together with the Spanish Governor-Generals and civil guards enslaved and subjugated us through brutal intimidation and malicious indoctrination of Catholic religion over a long period of time. Tired and severely oppressed, our ancestors revolted to emancipate themselves from their predicament, to alleviate from their plight against human degradation and to gain liberty and independence for the next generation of Filipinos. After the two governments duped our revolutionary leaders, Spanish government sold our country for about $ 20 million to the American government. Noble as they are, the Americans despised slavery and colonialism yet, Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg address might have little effect on the American legislators at that time as they, too, colonized us and abused our natural resources by passing and enacting laws detrimental to our people and our country. Our country again was back to being colonized under different master. This new master brutally massacred a community of our Muslim brothers in order to promote peace and harmony all over the country. It might have been destructive and deadly, but to them, it was necessary to promote morality and institute social justice. The American nobility had once again manifested and upheld its principle of human liberty and social democracy. Upon the attack on the Pearl Harbor by the imperialistic Japanese, our country again suffered devastation brought about by the World War II. The wicked Japanese bastards raped our country by institutionalizing comfort women in the guise of national patrimony and patriotism for about 4 years. After achieving our full independence on July 4, 1946, our country slowly recovered from the devastation yet still kowtow to the influence of the American government. Even up to this point, the Americans and Europeans want to make this country submit to its whims and caprices. When are these people going to truly respect our independence and recognize our nationhood? When are they going to refrain or restrain themselves from meddling in our internal affairs? The Filipino people never really experience such pride as they have now compared to all the Presidents elected before. It is only now that the majority of the Filipino people felt real delivery of social service, social justice and economic progress. The president and his government have done something good for the country and its people. Who can claim and declare these things other than the Filipino people who are residing in the country, benefiting from the services and experiencing the social change. These claims can also be correlated to the very high rate of approval of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte if indeed he is delivering his campaign promises since the time he had taken over the helm of leadership. This exemplary approval rating is already too high for Western or European standards. What is more surprising about it is that he is able to SUSTAIN that high approval rating since the first time he assumed the office of the president until now. What he lacks in diplomacy he reciprocates it with action, decisiveness and fortitude. To encapsulate it, He DELIVERS! Despite of all his human frailties, we, the Filipino people, love our president for his candor, sincerity and love for our the country. We, the Filipino people, do not understand why foreigners interfere in our country wherein they knew nothing about us, knew nothing about our plight, knew nothing how we suffered and knew nothing on what are our desires and aspirations. Why do they not stop their hypocrisy and let this country mind its own business as we do not either interfere in other country's business or governance? We are our own people and we know what is best for us for we are, like the foreigners, thinking and analytic individuals. We can discern what we like, what we love and what we despise. We despise foreign intervention and we love self-governance under this current leadership. If we are really oppressed and abused, we know how to fight back and bring things in their right places. If need be, we can seek foreign assistance. But right now and right here in our country, we are doing just fine and in fact, our country has never been at its best than before because we have a God-sent leader running our government. We are thankful to God that He finally heard our prayers in making this country exists and develops in the right direction. Foreign media and provocateurs of social chaos in the Philippines, please leave us and our country alone.
