@@IbexGundyr Many people like the DS version, its sales are very close to original SM64, a lot of people have played it. The community itself is just not that popular.

First stage reminds me of maple treeway from Mario kart which is one of my favorite tracks
Love the wiggler stage, it kind of reminds me of click clock woods level in banjo kazooie.
This is one of the best Mario 64 DS Hacks I've seen. AND I LOVE IT!!!
It's a cool hack but the fact that the first star isn't very clear is poor design. Like the first star in the og game in Bob omb battlefield was a clear objective, allowed you to learn the fundamental mechanics of the game but whilst also giving you the opportunity to pursue some other stars too without being too obtuse or intrusive about it. But other than that cool hack
Bit of a stretch maybe, but I think the reason the water was quicksand is simply due to a mission you gotta complete in mario sunshine. If you hit a wall while riding one of the bloopers, it just pretty much kills your life, and you have to restart from the beginning. Obviously there's no bloopers to ride in sm64ds, so they made due with the green shell.

I was laying on my bed, watching a wonderful video that revolves around spreading joy through fresh-baked memes. For those who are curious, it was Dank Doodle Memes by Clumsy. It was getting late. I then stumbled across this video. I looked at the date it was posted. Then, cuz I’m retarded, couldn’t remember the date and looked at the corner of my screen. It was the start of July 2020. I felt proud for staying up to see that, then shat myself cuz I was afraid of what July would bring.
