I worked for a company in Tennessee that sold these , And they were so fun too operate. And the controls were very forgiving and sensitive. This was 42 years ago though.
@@rickyhall1772 It's designed to work in extreme terrain conditions, on a very steep slopes, etc. What you saw here wasn't even 1% of what these machines can do.
Um I have see this thing going down a 75 ft damn. This shit here is entry level maneuvers. If you can't even do this then you suck as an operator. Hell I have done this with a Tracked excavator.
I don't think people realize when it went to pull forward then took off that time was sped up. I still like this peace of equipment and would come in handy for sure.
The fact I seen one of these climb up a mountain and start breaking away the sides of mountain to widen a roadway was awesome that thing climbed at least 250ft
@@stevengunter4990 Has absolutely nothing to do with spreading the excavators weight out over a wider area as to not sink as easily? I find that hard to believe considering how many excavators my team had to free from the mud
@@Aatell764 jeah it is NOT made for mud it doesnt need to spread its weight, it is especially made and only used for steep hills and complicated envoirments, i can keep the cab leven on hills and spread its weighg not over more area on the ground but over a larger area in general, wich makes it far less likely to tipp or roll over......also most of these do not even have 4 wheels......some have none or just 2 and basically crawl with the boom. These excavators are extremly complicated and expensive so they are not used for normal consgruction

@@timtim8468 you’re going to find that most stuff for social media will be vertical from now on. Look at Tik Tok or Instagram or Facebook. Vertical looks better on a phone screen if you’re just scrolling through videos holding a phone in portrait.

The video here shows that awesome machine working, the viewer wants to see it as a whole, it's about movement. You'll find similar critics under aviation videos, when the cameraman zooms all way in, people want to see the flight, would look at pictures, if it was about detail. It's a decision, that trend, or following decades old video taking wisdom, to serve the viewer best. Produce for social media, or make timeless documents about todays tec.
