@@zlover7777 Straight 6's are a 6 to 1 setup both naturally aspirated and in boosted configurations so you can literally just run a 3" straight pipe off the turbo-back or an upgraded longtube-header that's 6-1 as well.
@@zlover7777there are no 6 to 1 headers (except turbo ones, but they sound bad) for m54‘s. As an m54 owner myself, I‘d say the best sound you‘re gonna get is schmiedmann headers, 2 cats, stay true dual all the way with no x/h pipe and eisenmann race muffler.
@@Falco_e46 Where did you get the idea there were no 6-1 headers? The engine has 6 ports, 6 runners that merge into the single turbo manifold. That is 6-1.
@dakotajones8010 straight piped true duals do, sure. But a straightpiped, true dual sbc sounds nothing like this hyundai V8. They're very different sounding engines. If anything the hyundai sounds similar to a straightpiped coyote
Everyone always forgets about J-pipes! Drone is always an issue with loud exhausts. The only way to fight drone without making the exhaust quieter is to add J-pipes.
The X-pipe car definitely sounds better, but not as different as it should. It is still kinda clappy. A higher quality X-pipe (mandrel-bent and formed out of two separate pipes with a smaller crossover opening) would have sharpened the sound while smoothing out the sound even further. As Exhaust Addicts says, don't sleep on these cars....
X-Pipe for sure!!!! It give a nice tone, deep growl! The Delete sounds like a bunch of trash cans - just loud noise - no tone!!! And that drive off sounded horrible!!!!!!!!!
It's his money. If I could afford to go get a Gen 2 CTS-V or a C63 W204 AMG Mercedes, you can bet every gram of flesh off your ass that I'm gonna put a loud exhaust on it.
I think this channel enjoys removing proven engineered parts that make the cars efficient and provide the most power. BTW the straight pipe sounds horrible!!!
X Pipe all day for V Configured Engines. Flat 6 Porche Engines too.
And what about a Bmw M54 engine?

@@dTheHammerb Okay thank you, I was thinking about a Supersprint catback with a Xpipe. I was wondering if it will rasp badly.

X pipe sounded way better , but I want to hear what a double h pipe sounds like on that thing .
Needs an xpipe
Always x-pipe, you need the crossover. Performs better, sounds better.
Not always, but often.
Loud doesn’t mean “always” better. They clapping at the end sounded like a damn truck.
LOL!!! Exactly!!!!
X pipe or H pipe you gotta have a crossover or itll sound like every 350 SBC with true duals
It sounds nothing like a small block chevy. Get your ears checked, homie
@@krissteeley4263 true duals always sound clapped out

More clap with the X-pipe delete, X-pipe for me for a smoother sound.

X pipe install definitely cleaner sounding than the delete
All they need is pair of vibrants ☝️🤔

I'm putting a h pipe with black widow mufflers
Second car sounds better Beastmode
Nice work! 😎🔨👊🏻 For personal preference, I prefer the X-pipe. Cleans up the sound.
Keep the X-pipe. True duals make it sound like a yee-yee pick-'em up truck
If You're Going To Delete An X Pipe You Should Replace It With An H Pipe
Agreed.
MENGA MINT!!!
X-Pipe for sure!!!! It give a nice tone, deep growl! The Delete sounds like a bunch of trash cans - just loud noise - no tone!!! And that drive off sounded horrible!!!!!!!!!
Why? Just why?
X pipe sounds infinitely better. No crossover sounds like doodoo…
You need a crossover.
Wow. X pipe delete for sure
X pipe and no muffler is probably perfect.
Double X-pipe, no mufflers, with J-pipes to reduce drone.
Exactly.
Would you recommend an X Pipe on a BMW N55 inline 6?
That is not the sound i expected to hear out of that but ok
X pipe delete for the win
Less power though.
Perfect example of why young people should not buy a "luxury" car.
What's with the "? They are luxury vehicles.
They can do whatever they want if it's their money 🤦🏽
Cant tell no body wat to do wit dey money

Agreed, this place takes nice sounding cars and makes them sound like they need exhaust work done correctly.
X pipe delete I have personal experience with one on and it suppressed the sound to much
