I have St. Augustine grass in my front lawn, and the grass grows really thick, so my electric edger was just not enough. On day I was driving in a neighborhood and noticed a lady throwing out a power edger just like yours, I walked up to her and asked if it worked, she said it didn't and that I could have it for free if I wanted it. Well I figured I have nothing to loose and everything to gain. Well I took it home cleaned it up, took out the gas tank and cleaned that up put in some fresh gasoline, a little carburetor cleaner, checked the spark plug, a few pulls of the pull cord and it started right up. I went out to a lawn mower shop picked up a band for $4.00 and bought a new blade off amazon for $5.00 and I got a new edger for less than $10.00. But the best thing is that my Power Trim 150 cuts like a hot knife through butter! its a great machine.
I had an edge similar to this one, but on the right side it had a triangular 3 wheel bracket that swung down when doing curbs. There was nothing it couldn't tackle. I inherited it from my grandfather and used it until the motor finally gave out, but would love to get another one because of the quality of cut
Sounds cool. I think I’ve seen some similar that were able to handle curbs easier. You Should have replaced the motor on it and continued to use it. Thanks for watching.
Nice! Great machine. I don’t use mine very often. Usually only for the toughest of jobs or really long sidewalks. But when you need it it awesome to have. Thanks for watching.
That is what I do with my old Trail Mate edger. It has two front wheels but follows the curved front sidewalk just fine when I lift the rear wheels. The driveway has a gentler curve and I can leave the rear wheels down.
Great, and thank you; but my 308 has THREE control levers and the user's manual does not even mention what they are for, or how to set them to start and run the damn thing. But the search goes on and thanks anyway.
I’m sorry but those Atom edgers are a terrible design. It’s like they are don’t know if they want to be a stick edger or a walk behind. A stick edger would be more versatile and maneuverable than a Atom edger and a walk behind with three or four wheels would still be better for long runs and be more stable to use just guiding it vs the Atom that you still need to support the weight and keep it cutting straight. Then you need to figure out how to transport the atom in the trailer as it is such an awkward design.
@ It’s clear you’ve never owned or used one. They leave stick and walk behind edgers for dead.Anything you can do with both of them a Atom will do better, better quality cut to 4 tips of blades compared to 2.Each to their own.
Your right, and I never will waste my time with such a terrible design. What’s really clear is you are probably affiliated with them. I’ve seen a few of these trolling Atom edger comments pop up in the last few weeks.
Let me know in the comments below if you use a walk behind edger in your lawn care business?

Sounds like an awesome find. Congratulations. They are great machines. Thanks for watching.
I use my Power Trim 208-H for ALL of my edging, both beds and walks. My edges are impeccable and the curves are smoooooooth.
Nice 👍 Thanks for watching.

I have one of these... not sure of the exact model. But it's very similar to this one. Just a lot older.

When edging on curves, You lift rear wheels with handle bars & use only on front wheels.
Nice tip. Thanks for watching.

Someone should show us how to use
I am trying to figure out how to start it
I was given a 3.8hp craftsman edger. Only used it once.
Nice. I don’t use mine very often as well. The stick edgers are pretty powerful, but it’s still nice to have just in case. Thanks for watching.

Sorry I’m not sure. Thanks for watching

Get yourselves an Atom edger and you won’t look back.
