Also might as well add, if you have Brilliant Behemoth, if the attack that procs it procs lost seer lenses, if the explosion touches the teleporter boss it instakills them too. Only Mithrix and the Voidling are immune to this interaction.
Does that mean you have to shoot near the legs of the boss and not directly at him? Or am I allowed to shoot at the boss itself and hope that the behemoth explosion with proc void crit afterwards?
@@zafarb4219 You actually have to insta-kill an enemy near the boss so that the AOE of the Brilliant Behemoth reaches it. When shooting at the ground the game does not attempt to trigger the effect, only when shooting an enemy. Something most people dont know about benthnic bloom, it upgrades items into a higher rarity of the same type, as in damage items stay damage items, healing stays healing, and utility stays utility
I find it intersting how the 4 lowest void item's normal item counterparts are amazing items. truly shows how much replacing bad with good and vice versa matters in rankings
13:55 I think the most important thing of this one is how you know exactly when you're going to block the attack and can plan accordingly. Tougher times works, or not, independently from your skill, but safer spaces works better the better you are at the game.
May I also add the gesture and blast shower build. Doesn't sound broken till you realize that the cool down for safer spaces and both bands are considered "debuffs"
the larva's downsides only apply if you already have a dio's, which is pretty rare in any given run. even then you get a second extra life, so i would rank it higher
i think in singleplayer, unless you have a dios, its an obvious pick up. you would never reroll because it would become a bloom, and it gives you another chance, which regardless of the possibility to cripple you, is a good thing. however i honestly would never pick it up in multiplayer because you come back the next stage anyway as long as youre not the last to die, and the possibility of my friend(s) finishing the stage is way better to me than the possibility of it changing my 3 bands and charged perf on loader into a zoea and a singularity
Benthic Bloom is one of my favorite items. Its bad, or at least has the potential to actively cripple your run, but there's something so satisfying about your build changing every stage for me. The fact that it replaces 57 Leaf hurts it a lot as well sadly.
one note about the plasma shrimp: the game doesn't state it anywhere, but I've found that there is actually a difference in how the ATG and the shrimp acquire their targets. If the target they are locked on to dies, ATG missiles will simply lock on to a new target immediately, whereas shrimp missiles will simply impact the area where the enemy was and explode. In actual gameplay this difference rarely matters, but it can be a detriment in niche builds such as pure-melee Mul-T.
10:45 Also consider that Voidsent deals damage to the enemy you hit, Will of the wisp does not, because the enemy is... dead. So when you don't have enemies grouped together Will of the Wisp does nothing, while Voidsent flame still does damage. And when you have 3 enemies, each explosion deals 260%x3 (one of them without fallof, the others with falloff), while Will of the wisp will deal 350%x2 (with falloff) Unless there are a lot of stacks and/or a lot of enemies inside the aoe, Voidsent will actually deal more total damage.
It is worth mentioning that with a behemoth the lost seers glasses can one shot bosses. If you 1shot an enemy near the boss, the explosion damage will be equal to that of the 1 shot and hit the boss, dealing an insane amount of damage
In the Needletick section, you didn't point out that since Shatterspleen can still apply bleed, with a high enough crit chance + Shatterspleen, Needletick becomes the blatantly obvious choice.
@@jucom756 I'm pretty sure it does apply 2 stacks of bleed each, but there's also something to be said about using bleed+collapse together for items like Death Mark. It's ultimately up to personal preference and current build - I personally prefer needletick in that scenario just because double debuff looks cooler, even if it's less practical.
@@coiledAgentim not that good but apparently they “nerfed tri tip and shatterpleen stacking” and thats directly from either Race or Disputed Origin i cant remember
@@jucom756 No, you can only apply one bleed per hit, but if you have polylute and plasma shrimp with 100% of crit and shatterspleen, it gets pretty fun.
honestly, I think one thing Void Band has going for it is that if you have the DLC, a new player has access to it immediately, whereas they may not get regular bands right away. (And it certainly took me a while)
11:06 One important detail to add I think is that this tier list was made with solo play in mind. I feel like the ranking of some items would be different when playing with 4 players. This is especially true for Voidsent Flame, because it is waaaaay harder to proc in a 4 player lobby than Will O Wisp. Multiplayer lobby also reduce the risk of picking a void item worse than its normal version, which would make corrupted band and glasses a better rank imo. They both are fine items, the reason they are that low in the tier list is because their normal version are waaay better. But in a 4 player lobby, another player than the one playing loader could still pick up the corrupted band and benefit from its bonus, without sacrificing anything.
Note on voidsent flame, it requires YOU to hit the target FIRST. It doesn't activate if any of your drones or other allies make that first hit, meaning any builds with a lot of allies really cripples it.
the dmg is fine but lower the cooldown. It has utility and cc and also proccs items really well, on multiple targets to boot. The cooldown hurts it, and it's not as reliable as the bands for guaranteeing good damage in your build.
@@BigDBrian It also can't be used in blast shower builds like regular bands can, where you get 2x band procs per blast shower refresh compared to the 0 with void band. even if it gave you the refresh on vband it would still be a tough sell I think but that would at least give it some merit as like a solid, consistent aoe proc chain starter that wasn't crippled by the crazy cooldown.
I will say that lost seer's lenses can actually go from mid to AMAZING if you manage to get your hands on a behemoth (or several). Because of a quirk in the way that proc chance works, if you trigger the instant kill on an enemy, it will also instant kill any other enemy caught in the blast and, because of an oversight in how boss immunity is calculated, that includes bosses themselves.
Fun safer spaces fact: the cooldown technically counts as a debuff and can be removed with blast shower, which can lead to the most busted immortality builds I have ever seen
Lost seers lenses is actually a unique damage type, so, except for the mythrix fight, if you have behemoth and lost seer a small enemy next to a boss, the behemoth will insta kill everything in the behemoth radius including the boss.
the only problem i have with safer spaces is that unlike tougher times, its actually used by mithrix. if you stack it up enough, mithrix becomes borderline *immortal.* Edit: How on earth did my comment explode this much?
@@shaunhayes3072doesn’t mithrix only use a certain number of items, if you pick up safer spaces late it’s still good to take more. Though I agree it’s usually unnecessary anyway
@@Barely_Edited Yes, but you have to have quite a lot of items for that to matter, most runs it won't come into effect unless you're looping multiple times
I really enjoy Needletick on Captain, Cap has a very low fire rate and x0.8 proc coefficient on hits which means he often loses bleed stacks, Needletick is often just as good on him, especially with the DLC since finding Dagger printers is less likely now. Also key is so powerful that just hoarding Rusted Keys until the end is a viable strategy.
So funny story about the Zoea; I was doing a pearl run once. You know the gist, cook an egocentrism for an hour, drop it all into a cleansing pool, get tons of stat buffs. Unfortunately I made the dumbass mistake of picking up a larva, forgetting what it does, or maybe I just didn't make the connection in my head that pearls were still considered yellow items. Anyway I died and ended up with about 60 Zoea, which caused void "allies" to spawn so quickly, and in such great number, that my PC began to lag uncontrollably. Spent the rest of the voidling boss fight attempting to predict where the death implosions would appear at 5FPS, desperately trying to survive while my army of void ghosts killed the voidling.
i prefer ukulele most of the time because im not that good at movement and having crowd control helps not getting run over by hordes of smaller enemies
For those wondering what the chances of getting different rarities of void items when you have the vanilla void mod on which adds new void items, the chances are roughly 47.2% for both whitesa nd greens with a 5.6% chance for reds. 10 whites, 10 greens and 3 reds.

A note on voidsent, which might be a bug, but it seems that drones don't actually activate it (or at least chaingunner drones don't activate it), but they do make enemies not have full health, so if you have chaingunner drones there are a ton of enemies that just don't explode ever. Also the damage loss is made up for a little bit by being somewhat usefull on single target enemies since the explosion affects the exploding enemy.
The void items seem to be really interesting to play with. Can't wait to play the DLC on console when I am just as old as you, Grandpa! On a side note it's also a bit odd to me that the void items are generally considered as an upgrade or side grade, even though pretty much half of them can be extremely detrimental to your run.
Which half? Most of the time the only ones I really won't take are void band, void glasses, and benthic (if I'm playing a serious run, otherwise I love benthic, so much fun), the rest I would take far more often than not, though some are of course survivor/run specific
Not really. Only void band, crit, and bloom are never-picks, while needletick, lysate cell, and tentabauble really depend on context. Contrast this with the rest of the list: safer spaces, polylute, plasma shrimp, and key are all run-carryingly good. Wungus and void sent flame are both great with no downside, while larva is only mostly good but replaces a red item so it doesn't _really_ have a downside. So really it's 3 bad, 3 context-dependent, 3 great, and 4 absolute auto-picks. Also keep in mind that reds are rare, so it's really more like 2/11 items that are extremely bad, while 6/11 are always worth taking.
i like taking singularity on engineer with stationary turrets, because you just see a bunch of monsters getting grouped together to finish off with some aoe
For voidsent it should be mentioned that it immediately turns to being one of the worst items in the game when taking drones or especially in multiplayer since it becomes really inconsistent to proc since an enemy needs full health. It becomes better once everyone starts having their own but since void items arent too common to come by its really hard for a group to each get their own voidsent flame
9:09 speaking of void fiend, my friend once did an insane build where he had THIRTY weeping fungi because he went all in on spending all of the items on printing the fungi. His corruption meter cap raised all the way up to about 70% and at that point if he would take a threatening hit he would instantly transform and then immediately heal, turning back. And that loop, in turn, made him effectively IMMORTAL
I really wanted the void band to not be garbo. I really wish it were a mini primordial cube, but the gravity effect is so weak that most of the time it only affects a couple enemies. I'd be fine with lower damage if it could levitate an elder lemurian.
Nice video grandad! However, two notes here: 1) Old seer lenses are even better on bandit because instakill with the revolver counts towards desperado stacks or lights out cooldown refreshing. 2) Corrupted Dios are decent equivalent to regular ones on engi because even if you don’t plan on dying yourself, your turrets are not that tough in early game. So larvae can help them stay alive longer and even make use of genesis loop. At least once per turrets life cycle as it is turned immediately into zoea.
the coolest thing with the larva is your video with engineer where your turrets intentionally died, dealing the tentacle explosion and then summoning tons of void allies
My personal rankings: 1. Key 2. Polylute 3. Shrimp 4. Bear (I think damage is better than utility) 5. Tentabauble To me these are clearly the top 5, then it is a far drop off 6. Needletick 7. Lysate (Only really good on a few survivors, most it is just convenient and the trade off from fuel cell is equal imo) 8. Voidsent (If you have drones they ruin this item) 9. Larva (Can't die if you can't die) 10. Zoea (idk I like the friends, and a lot of yellows don't matter) 11. Wungus (I'd rather scrap my bungus to get other stuff and who needs healing anyways) Then it is another hard drop off to these which I think are just bad 12. Lost seer's (My main focus for the entire run is building for mithrix, this does nothing on the moon if you pillar skip) 13. Benthic 14. Band
Id like to point out benthic bloom on bandit is actually really good, a heart light afterburner + brainstalks/alien head leads to almost permanent uptime on invisibility. And it doesn’t matter how slow you move if your enemies can’t see you to hit you
The thing about the void band is that it has a proc coefficient of 1.0. vs the others just not. So if you have a lot of non-100% hit trigger items bouncing off each other, it can actually work out better AOE wise due to the black hole as it will keep triggering those hits. IF they're stacked high enough, otherwise just keep the regular bands.
i think the void clover, while certainly not always good, is really fun. one time that sucker dropped from a cradle right next to my spawn on stage 1, and that run was absolutely glorious!
Something that should move lost seer lenses further towards the bottom of the list is the bug that has existed since the launch of survivors of the void where instant killing void seed enemies doesn't actuallh reduce the enemy count, meaning the void seed will never go away.
Void bands CAN be better than regular because of how the cooldown is kept track of, with regular bands it's a timer that can't be influenced by other forces, but on void bands it's a debuff that prevents their triggering and lasts a certain amount of time behind going away naturally but can be cleansed. Which means if you have void bands a blast shower and lots of fuel cells along with at least 1 gesture of the drowned you can proc void bands multiple times a second.
I disagree somewhat with the Polylute placement, since it's on par with some red items (45% damage vs Behemoth's 60%) and is much more readily available from Void Cradles. I honestly think that Polylute may be the best item in the game, pound-for-pound
Band's a little underrated on your list. For single player runs, yeah I can see ranking it that low, but when playing with my friends, we make sure one of us picks up the singularity band, typically whoever's playing a survivor that benefits the least from bands. The guaranteed lockdown is very convenient for everyone else. Obviously also strong on Engi (because he's quirky like that).
One thing to remember about corrupted items. You are almost never choosing between x corrupted and x uncorrupted. (Unless you have a corrupted dios). The choice is almost always x uncorrupted or x+1 corrupted. In the case of tentabauble this is pretty significant.
If you find yourself with shatterspleen, having lots of lens glasses will always guarantee bleed to proc because of your constant crits. In this case the tri tip is useless and needle tick would be great. Also adding an extra debuff to help with death mark
You can abuse safer spaces because reload of this item is debuff, with item that cleans all debufs you can instantly reuse safer spaces. That means if you have many fuel cells you can by fastly pressing q make safer spaces with almost no cooldown, texnecly if you have 500 fuel cells with fullcharge on steam deck you can get 5 second of invicibility, because steam deck can automaticly press the button 100 times in a second.
The void items become a lot nicer when you go into multiplayer, cause 1 person can gobble all the singularity bands that the game will give nonstop whilst the others can fight over the Kjaro's and Runald's
The one thing that never got mentioned about Voidsent Flame that I feel is kind of a big deal is that if you have any offensive drone on your team, the very second they hit an enemy it completely removes the chance to activate that item. One or even two doesn't make this an incredible issue, but if you have a large group or, heaven forbid, Spare Drone Parts, good luck getting it to happen. Otherwise, I'd say the list is pretty solid.
One of the only builds I’ve ever had where the singularity band consisted of the following 3 daggers 4 crit glasses 1 shatter spleen 4 ukuleles A couple predatory instincts Harvesters scythe 57 leaf clover. The proc chains are nuts and I had my equipment slot free to take a spinel tonic without having to worry about losing my ability to squeeze enemies into a single spot
3:40-4:54 Lost seers Lenses: Your attacks have a 0.5%(+0.5%) chance to instally kill a non-boss(enemy with the red healthbar) enemy. Against only Bosses Has a 20%(+5% per stack) crit chance. since its only against bosses its atleast some form of use generally and things that rely on crit are still effective just only against main objectives compared to the original thats good against anything.
the best build I've used so far (in my very short career) is a bunch of Lysate Cells on Mercenary. If you get enough of them you can very easily become unkillable by allowing Special to come off cooldown before you run out of charges.
If you stack wungus, aigis, topaz brooch, and hella rejuv racks, sprinting basically heals you instantly, you reach max instantly, so unless the enemy can do more damage than your health, you basically become immortal while sprinting
Something worth noting about the void-bands is that they have a proc of 1.0, where the other two bands do not (both 0). This doesn't make it good, but it certainly makes it interesting. I don't think it would take much to make it feel at parity with the bands it replaces when you consider it can proc behemoth, sticky bomb, atg, etc. and with enough of them it's a good bit of total damage into a good bit of total damage. I'm currently using a vands configuration mod and I've got the CD reduced to 10, and the damage bumped to 275% [+275%] to be in the middle-point between runald's/kjaro's and I've had some varied results between survivors (which is good, it shouldn't be great for everyone). If I get truly busted with the modified version I'm using I might nerf it slightly, probably make the CD 15, so it can proc 10s after it pops instead of 10 seconds after it procs. I was using 200% [+200%] with a bigger area for a little while but it was quickly overtaking the stage and *everything* in it takes the full damage, so while middling in damage generally speaking it was a bit much, hitting everything in the fight every 10 seconds.
a little bit of a note with Lystate Cell, i figured out that if you get Essence of Heresy to replace Captain's R ability, then get lystate, it actually doesn't give extra stacks of the R for whatever reason. :,(
I just noticed last night that Lysate Cell allows captain to call down multiple satellites or whatever his ult is called, so why is it bad? If you use the shop one, you get even more free items per stage. Only 2 can be active, but unlike the healing or shock versions, you don't really need the shop one after you purchase a chest.
Weeping Fungus plus Aegis is amazing btw, even moreso with Leech Seed. I got a few of each in a run and wound up absolutely invincible as long as I sprinted regularly. I'm talking sprint five steps and get to 13,000/2000 health. I was Engineer with mobile turrets too, so my turrets were constantly at full gold healthbars.
Also, the issue with Benthic Bloom is that it takes away your mobility. And you can have 18 clovers - it will mean nothing if you're as slow as a snail and have no items to proc with it.
I understand the longer cooldown - if it had a 10s cooldown then you'd have 50% uptime on very strong AoE crowd control and I can see why they wouldn't want that. What I _don't_ understand is why it has such godawful damage on top of that.
Its because it has a higher proc chance to trigger hit % effects from other items, most of which will be AOE damage, from a strong AOE crowd control item.
personally for me the choice between plasma shrimp and atg really depends if i'm looping or not since getting a clover significantly increases atg damage but ends up as a potential damage loss with plasma shrimp
I agree with your stance on benthic bloom and adding to it is at least in my experience it's low appearance rate. However, bc of that I often take it if it appears and in doing so found how ridiculous bottled chaos is when stacked lol
From my experience it seems that drones don't activate voidsent, which can certainly cripple it, as it can be much easier to kill an enemy then attack once before your swarm of buddies do
something you didn't mention with needletip is if you have shatterspleen+high crit you get bleed procs that way, which makes your tri-tips redundant in which case its better to get needletip. if you're at 100% crit with a shatterspleen you are always bleeding things, so you should switch to be able to bleed AND collapse
wungus is a small bit low(like id put it above tenta cuz youll barely get stacks of the latter, making it less useful imo), but good list overall! I can see void dio's being controversial, but honestly if I need a dio's in a run then that run is probably boned anyway, and a second life with potentially worse damage isn't gonna save it.
Best time to take a needletick is when you have good crit and a shatterspleen, making your bleed stacks obsolete. Had a run with bandit where i had bleed stacks, got a shatterspleen, turned the bleeed into nick and was stacking bleed and collapse at the same time. Run was insane
Lysate cell is actually really good on void fiend. You get an additional heal. With more attack speed you can actually outheal and tank certain attacks if you are caught in the AOE.
thats actually not true. void fiends suppress heal is not cooldown based, it doesnt even have a single second of cooldown, you can spam it infinitely given you have enough meter, its only limitation is your corruption meter, which lysate cell doesnt do anything to increase (other than a very slight buff due to it just being a void item) but fuel cell can be much better than the meter from just 1 more void item in your inventory, extra charges and cooldowns of equipment is huge. taking lysate cell on void fiend is like taking backup mag on railgunner

And when you have 3 enemies, each explosion deals 260%x3 (one of them without fallof, the others with falloff), while Will of the wisp will deal 350%x2 (with falloff) Unless there are a lot of stacks and/or a lot of enemies inside the aoe, Voidsent will actually deal more total damage.
voidsent also doesnt work if the enemy dies in 1 hit
Also voidsent is really good at taking out flying enemies
It is worth mentioning that with a behemoth the lost seers glasses can one shot bosses. If you 1shot an enemy near the boss, the explosion damage will be equal to that of the 1 shot and hit the boss, dealing an insane amount of damage
In the Needletick section, you didn't point out that since Shatterspleen can still apply bleed, with a high enough crit chance + Shatterspleen, Needletick becomes the blatantly obvious choice.
Wait does shatterspleen+tritip not double bleed?
@@coiledAgent before SotV you could, but they removed it with the addition of needletick
honestly, I think one thing Void Band has going for it is that if you have the DLC, a new player has access to it immediately, whereas they may not get regular bands right away. (And it certainly took me a while)
I remember having a lot of fun with it before I unlocked normal bands
5:30 yeah I had to double take when I first heard “Prolapse”
5:18 "Prolapse is better than bleed".... HMmmmmm
Note on voidsent flame, it requires YOU to hit the target FIRST. It doesn't activate if any of your drones or other allies make that first hit, meaning any builds with a lot of allies really cripples it.
"Am I saying prolapse?" *continues calling it prolapse*
ngl. psyched out when I heard Chrono Trigger music.
I think singularity band having a reduced cooldown and more damage would put it on par with the other void items
the dmg is fine but lower the cooldown. It has utility and cc and also proccs items really well, on multiple targets to boot. The cooldown hurts it, and it's not as reliable as the bands for guaranteeing good damage in your build.
@@BigDBrian the damned thing can't even contain mithrix
@@BigDBrian It also can't be used in blast shower builds like regular bands can, where you get 2x band procs per blast shower refresh compared to the 0 with void band. even if it gave you the refresh on vband it would still be a tough sell I think but that would at least give it some merit as like a solid, consistent aoe proc chain starter that wasn't crippled by the crazy cooldown.
@@selearth3123 wait blast shower doesn't refresh it? that's stupid. This game makes no sense.
@@selearth3123what are you on about? Void Band has always been refreshed by blast shower. That interaction was not removed.
I will say that lost seer's lenses can actually go from mid to AMAZING if you manage to get your hands on a behemoth (or several). Because of a quirk in the way that proc chance works, if you trigger the instant kill on an enemy, it will also instant kill any other enemy caught in the blast and, because of an oversight in how boss immunity is calculated, that includes bosses themselves.
i hate it when the swirly appears on me and i know the prolapse is imminent 😢
Fun safer spaces fact: the cooldown technically counts as a debuff and can be removed with blast shower, which can lead to the most busted immortality builds I have ever seen
Lost seers lenses is actually a unique damage type, so, except for the mythrix fight, if you have behemoth and lost seer a small enemy next to a boss, the behemoth will insta kill everything in the behemoth radius including the boss.
the only problem i have with safer spaces is that unlike tougher times, its actually used by mithrix. if you stack it up enough, mithrix becomes borderline *immortal.*
Edit: How on earth did my comment explode this much?
Does mithrix orbs damage get negated or is he immune to that damage too?
@@shaunhayes3072doesn’t mithrix only use a certain number of items, if you pick up safer spaces late it’s still good to take more. Though I agree it’s usually unnecessary anyway
@@Barely_Edited If you get it early enough, Mithrix takes your items from right to left, newest to oldest.
@@Barely_Edited Yes, but you have to have quite a lot of items for that to matter, most runs it won't come into effect unless you're looping multiple times
I don't think that is the case anymore. If I recall correctly that was patched.
I do prefer the normal ukulele on railgunner because she pumps enough single target damage anyway. Also love the item transitions
i prefer ukulele most of the time because im not that good at movement and having crowd control helps not getting run over by hordes of smaller enemies
For those wondering what the chances of getting different rarities of void items when you have the vanilla void mod on which adds new void items, the chances are roughly 47.2% for both whitesa nd greens with a 5.6% chance for reds. 10 whites, 10 greens and 3 reds.
Wrong
16:03
42% white, 51% green, 7% red

I’m actually fucking dying at how aggressively he pronounces the B in *B* ungus
as an engineer main i am actively hunting crabs for bringing us the weeping fungus
Oh no how am i supposed to win my benthic bloom run with 12 spare drone parts, 17 dios, and 15 behemoths! I have no movement speed!
speed is war
it’s always a great day when my favorite grandpa uploads a video of him yelling at the rain
"Am I calling it Prolapse?"
*continues to call it Prolapse*
Lysate cell is very good for Rex, you can have infinite flowers and block mithrix or how many enemies do you want.
I have done this its just like the tentabauble. just need to hit him with 2 flowers and hes stuck
As an engineer main I laughed at the fact that he used every Alt weapon other than his grenade launcher primary because of how useless it is
Once again very cool intro. Thanks disputed, very cool
I love that you open with the ranking!
5:18 excuse me... WHAT is better than bleed?
Nice video grandad!
However, two notes here:
1) Old seer lenses are even better on bandit because instakill with the revolver counts towards desperado stacks or lights out cooldown refreshing.
I remember when Singularity Bands looped into themselves, causing a loop of constant explosion damage that scared even further and further up.
HE HAD NO INTRO! GIVE THIS MAN A LIKE!!!!!
Love that there’s no intro, I read the title to the video, I know what I’m getting into
I’m immediately liking the video because there was no annoying intro, just straight into the meat and potatoes
Benthic Bloom: "Let chaos reign."
My personal rankings:
1. Key
2. Polylute
3. Shrimp
4. Bear (I think damage is better than utility)
5. Tentabauble
To me these are clearly the top 5, then it is a far drop off
6. Needletick
7. Lysate (Only really good on a few survivors, most it is just convenient and the trade off from fuel cell is equal imo)
8. Voidsent (If you have drones they ruin this item)
9. Larva (Can't die if you can't die)
10. Zoea (idk I like the friends, and a lot of yellows don't matter)
11. Wungus (I'd rather scrap my bungus to get other stuff and who needs healing anyways)
Then it is another hard drop off to these which I think are just bad
12. Lost seer's (My main focus for the entire run is building for mithrix, this does nothing on the moon if you pillar skip)
13. Benthic
5:25 "Am I calling it prolapse?"
Continues to call it prolapse hahah
pearl farming + lost seers lens is probably my favorite thing to do. You get the crits from the iridescent pearls so your damage doesn't fall off hard
i think the void clover, while certainly not always good, is really fun.
one time that sucker dropped from a cradle right next to my spawn on stage 1, and that run was absolutely glorious!
Something that should move lost seer lenses further towards the bottom of the list is the bug that has existed since the launch of survivors of the void where instant killing void seed enemies doesn't actuallh reduce the enemy count, meaning the void seed will never go away.
The one caveat to the void band: if you don’t have Till Death Do Us Part it becomes very good by virtue of being the only band option.
nah needletick is good if you get the imp lord drop that applies bleed and you already have daggers stacked
Void bands CAN be better than regular because of how the cooldown is kept track of, with regular bands it's a timer that can't be influenced by other forces, but on void bands it's a debuff that prevents their triggering and lasts a certain amount of time behind going away naturally but can be cleansed. Which means if you have void bands a blast shower and lots of fuel cells along with at least 1 gesture of the drowned you can proc void bands multiple times a second.
imagining a tick with a thingy on its butt that causes prolapse 😮
The band is actually really good with loader its basically the primordial cube you can use any of your moves on the enemies trapped in the singularity
14:34 i was trying to remember where I heard this song before and as soon as I did my whole childhood flashed before my eyes
I feel with RoR 2 so many people have missed out on the epic RoR 1 experience
One of the only builds I’ve ever had where the singularity band consisted of the following
3 daggers
4 crit glasses
1 shatter spleen
4 ukuleles
A couple predatory instincts
Harvesters scythe
57 leaf clover.
The proc chains are nuts and I had my equipment slot free to take a spinel tonic without having to worry about losing my ability to squeeze enemies into a single spot
3:40-4:54
Lost seers Lenses: Your attacks have a 0.5%(+0.5%) chance to instally kill a non-boss(enemy with the red healthbar) enemy.
Against only Bosses Has a 20%(+5% per stack) crit chance.
since its only against bosses its atleast some form of use generally and things that rely on crit are still effective just only against main objectives compared to the original thats good against anything.
Plasma shrimp and transcendence is absurd
As a merc main, Lysate Cell is obviously the best Void Item.
the best build I've used so far (in my very short career) is a bunch of Lysate Cells on Mercenary.
I was Engineer with mobile turrets too, so my turrets were constantly at full gold healthbars.
i always have to aplaud anyone who uses music from C418's One album. not many people know that album and its honestly a really good album.
Also, the issue with Benthic Bloom is that it takes away your mobility. And you can have 18 clovers - it will mean nothing if you're as slow as a snail and have no items to proc with it.
I don't even understand why singularity band has a TWENTY SECOND COOLDOWN. Not only is it bad, it's so annoying to play around
However, bc of that I often take it if it appears and in doing so found how ridiculous bottled chaos is when stacked lol
needletick when you have shatterspleen and a decent source of crits is one of my favorite combos
