My best pizza experience happend in Chicago. I once went to an Italian restaurant that was actually located in the real basement of a real Italian-American family's ordinary house located in a residential neighborhood. Deeeep dish pizza! They (supposedly) made it with local garden-grown tomatoes, peppers, garlic, onions, etc., and the sausage came from the local butcher shop, stretchy cheese from the local cheese shop, and had thick hand-tossed dough, all baked fresh in their residential kitchen's oven. Not cheap. Just the best. I just flat-out love this channel. With all the uncomfortable and angry stuff going on lately in the real world and social media's _ideas_ about the real world, I can always count on Ice Cream Sandwich to just make me feel better.
As someone who has eaten pizza from 5 different countries at multiple prices, all I can say is that good pizza is good pizza, no matter the style or where it's from.
0:11 - no, it's a small pizza restorant in Estonia called Stefani's. Which is probably meant to be an Italian thing, but it's wholely original Estonian chain. They have 2 locations in the summer capital called Pärnu and I take my friends on a whole cross-country trip just to get their pizza.

the absolute best pizza I've ever had was (or rather, literally currently is, I'm eating it rn omg it's so good) from a pizzeria in my university town, I'm pretty sure it's family owned and the owners are Italian immigrants that try and both appeal to the British, and keep the pizza the best they can. And oh my *GOD* is it working. Their pizza is always so cheesy, so juicy, so fresh, so tomatoey, so fucking tasty I'd rather have a slice than an orgasm. And to additionally put in perspective how good it is - even after you've left the leftovers in your room for 12h without refrigeration (excuse the health risk) the leftovers still taste like a pretty good pizza. Just imagine the god like levels of tastiness this pizza has to have that even after that it's still really good. It's simply the best. If you're ever around Aberystwyth give Hollywood Pizza a shot. One thing I learned about New York is that you can do something called Urban Prospecting. It involves digging dirt from the cracks in the sidewalks in front of jewelry and gold stores. There’s literally gold from people walking in and out and from working on gold all day. You can sometimes find gems from people dropping them or losing jewelry.
9 Years ago my aunt passed due to pancreatic cancer. My parents took me out for pizza to stop my crying and it was nice an all. the pizza was big and greasy just as i always see it. Then as we were eating it, ice cream sandwich youtube ran into the establishment and took several of my ribs and the pizza
When I first saw the title for this video, I thought it was “DifficultLy eating New York pizza” so I thought it would just be his little guy consuming a pizza. Now I’m an all-time fan.
The pizza creation sounds are from terraria, didn’t think I’d hear them, pretty cool how they’ve been used! Also, I’ll list the noise timestamps and what they come from. 0:04 Mana star use sound 0:05 Pixie hurt noise 0:07 zombie hurt noise. 1:55 Explosion 5:26 Menu selection noise 5:32 The squishy noise is from when you hit something squishy, like a slime.
As a chicagolander, I can tell you that their pizza fills you up instantly. I legit try to finish it off in one go, but instead it takes me almost a week to do so.
My NYC pizza experience was on a school trip. My friends and I got lost on the way back to the hotel after watching Wicked and after about 20 minutes of walking we decided to get food. The only place that was open was this pizza place with the pizza for sale on display under heat lamps. Best pizza I ever had. The funny thing is that the hotel was like right around the corner from the place
I find it cool that often times the best food I've eaten comes from really obscure places that not a lot of people go to or just really under-appreciated in general, so don't be afraid to try a hole in the wall food joint! You'll be pleasantly surprised (hopefully).
As someone born and raised in NYC, I am thoroughly impressed by your desire and dedication. I’ve never had a BAD slice here, but somehow those hole in the wall pizzerias always hit different.
People are just looking in the wrong place. Ppl (mostly tourists) usually go to manhattan for a slice when that’s the worst place to go for good pizza. Brooklyn is where it’s at with the good pizzas.
Things to expect in a ice cream sandwich video: 1 funny content. 2. Out of context material 3. *a sponsor* 🙂 4. Relatable content. (Example 4:21) And finally 5... *THIS COMMENT IS SPONSORED BY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRR_*
The funniest thing is that this pizza looks exactly like the hole in the wall pizza in any city... anywhere... including the place I ate at as a kid, in CANADA, on the other side of the continent. It's literally just, crap pizza.
"WE COULD HAVE BEEN STUCK IN CHICAGO" right, where deep dish is, DEEP DISH. That's my fave type o da pizza. Also, I'm glad you enjoyed the New York pizza!
5:15 if you see pizza places like this, you are in the right place for pizza. Believe me, I've been in a place similar looking in Downtown Orlando and it was the best pizza I ever had.
I had basically the exact same experience with a flight from London to Paris. It was like a 45 minute flight but it was just one thing after another. the landing gear needed to be checked, the little truck thing that pulls the plane during taxi broke down and they had to get another one, and on and on. It was no joke about 3 hours before we actually took off.
I went to New York for my senior trip. I was extreamly depressed so I dont remember a lot of it. I didn't remember getting pizza, but I remember getting some absolutely AMAZING begal sandwiches. I also remember going to the mnm store in town square, buying knickknacks and my friend having to buy tourist pants because she ruined her pants. Honestly my favorite memory of it was staying at the Airbnb with my friends, eating some weird food after we got magic berry pills from a museum. They swap your taste buds so sour tastes sweet and stuff. I was also extreamly frusterated that the only grocery store we could find was whole foods and the only icecream we could buy was halo top. Really good but not enough icecream for 5 dollars
Glad to hear that other people have tried the magic berry pills lol If you ever make it back to NY try the dollar pizza! Definitely NY has good bagels and pizza
Lol. I was imagining a chicago deep dish when you posed the question. So, I find it funny that you didn't even consider getting any when you had the chance of stopping there. 😆(No shade to Italy. Your pizzas are great too. Love the onion and tuna pizza.)

I grew up with an Italian-owned pizzeria with New York style pizza just five minutes away from my house
That place ruined me for any and all pizza once we moved away
The only pizza that’s even come close was a pizzeria in Key West, real Italian pizza when I took a vacation to Italy about half a decade back, and a pizza joint that opened near my college campus (probably the closest to said previous home pizzeria)
That’s it

I laughed so hard at that. 😂

This channel is one I've come to at times when I've been feeling down, and it has never ceased to make me feel better. Thank you❤️
I just flat-out love this channel.
Stefano is an Italian first name.
Stefani is definitely someone's last name.
hi there
Pizza is something that’s subjective, I say this as a Canadian who’s never been to New York and Italy and yet is aware of the significance of pizza in both areas, I hope to visit New York, and maybe Italy too, and experience pizza in both places. I enjoy this channel its content is entertaining.
at 2:13 when he left my doorbell rang and for a second i thought he ended up at my house somehow
0:20 Hi, Kelly! Glad you could make it!
when i had new york pizza. it basically had zero sauce XD
Cool
I would not vibe with it then. The sauce is my favorite part!

This shit is hysterical. I am already watching it for a second time.
This dude deserves more views and more subs. You sir, you make my days so much better. New York still sucks though but if it were as lively as your animations I would reconsider
4:45 LITERALLY. i was in nyc and there was this creme puff place and the place was so cute and clean. i found a taco bell (which was across from it, i believe) and the place was absolutely rancid. there were full trash bags in front of it
Reminds me of that SpongeBob krusty krab vs chum bucket meme
the absolute best pizza I've ever had was (or rather, literally currently is, I'm eating it rn omg it's so good) from a pizzeria in my university town, I'm pretty sure it's family owned and the owners are Italian immigrants that try and both appeal to the British, and keep the pizza the best they can.
Their pizza is the best a man can ask for
Can't believe I've found someone from Aber in the wild like this holy shit
Are you gonna hunt me down if I say I like Hollywood's burger deals more than their pizzas? They're just so cheap
@@coolnerds895 the only time I had their burgers my stomach got mad at me so I've been avoiding them, should I give them another go?
@@shneancy220 absolutely, my personal favourite is the chicken burger with bbq sauce and no salad because scurvy hasn't killed me yet. Oh and get the chocolate cake, that shit slaps
@@coolnerds895 a burger without veggies with a chocolate cake? Sounds like a great meal for fuelling my desperate attempts to deliver all the essays on time, I'll be sure to try that soon! Thanks

The nostalgic music during these ads from various N64 games keeps me hooked to these videos
You were twenty minutes away from eating Chicago style pizza, the long time rival of New York style
Fr. What a missed opportunity. Gotta try Chicago thin crust/pub style
You mean “pizza casserole“.
🤣😂🤣
@@WillHellmm deep dish is chicagos speciality imo
@@meerlux1174 that's what everyone says, but the average Chicagoan eats Chicago ThinCrust much more frequently than Deep Dish. All the tourists will try is deep dish and miss what tye average chicagoan usually has.
@@WillHellmm this wasn’t my experience living in Chicago. My experience most places has been “pizza is good yay pizza” tho.
Chicago deep dish is different for sure - thin crust, pan pizzas, Turkish style, Italian, etc. At the end of the day, pizza is pretty hard to fuck up imo.

5:25 as a New Yorker I know this exact place and it's SOO good Highly recommend
Edit: I wrote this before I watched his commentary, but in my experience it was the best pizza I've ever had Loll
You know they're a good youtuber if they even make the sponsers entertaining
Not gonna lie Ice Cream Sandwich has the best visual humor in these types of TH-cam videos
1:54 This is just top tier
OH GOD!

Haha nice try liar
When I first saw the title for this video, I thought it was “DifficultLy eating New York pizza” so I thought it would just be his little guy consuming a pizza. Now I’m an all-time fan.
The pizza creation sounds are from terraria, didn’t think I’d hear them, pretty cool how they’ve been used!
Also, I’ll list the noise timestamps and what they come from.

0:05 Pixie hurt noise
0:07 zombie hurt noise.

5:26 Menu selection noise
5:32 The squishy noise is from when you hit something squishy, like a slime.
i was looking for someone else to notice it, good job good sir (or miss idk)
I noticed the bag exploding but none of the other things till I saw this
Also shooting arrows noise at 1:26

As a chicagolander, I can tell you that their pizza fills you up instantly. I legit try to finish it off in one go, but instead it takes me almost a week to do so.
You mean pizza casserole? 🤣😂🤣

I went to NYC this past spring break for choir, it was the greatest experience I have ever peen apart of and I regret nothing from it.

I saw the actual video! I like how you are trying to help him spread awareness!
I find it cool that often times the best food I've eaten comes from really obscure places that not a lot of people go to or just really under-appreciated in general, so don't be afraid to try a hole in the wall food joint! You'll be pleasantly surprised (hopefully).
He really hit us with “journey before destination”
Is this a stormlight archive reference, or am i looking too deep into things?
I've been to that specific joint a couple years ago when I was in NYC, I couldn't agree more both on the flavor profile and the enjoyment of salt
As someone born and raised in NYC, I am thoroughly impressed by your desire and dedication. I’ve never had a BAD slice here, but somehow those hole in the wall pizzerias always hit different.
The thing that makes the "new york slice" so popular isn't that it's actually good, it's just available, cheap, and good adjacent lol
it is good
People are just looking in the wrong place. Ppl (mostly tourists) usually go to manhattan for a slice when that’s the worst place to go for good pizza. Brooklyn is where it’s at with the good pizzas.
Sounds like turk pizza
Things to expect in a ice cream sandwich video:
1 funny content.
2. Out of context material
3. *a sponsor* 🙂
4. Relatable content. (Example 4:21)

The funniest thing is that this pizza looks exactly like the hole in the wall pizza in any city... anywhere... including the place I ate at as a kid, in CANADA, on the other side of the continent. It's literally just, crap pizza.

And more importantly Chicago ThinCrust/PubStyle pizza. It doesn't get enought love.
You mean “pizza casserole.” 😂🤣😂
Bro Andy can make any sponsorship good and entertaining
5:15 if you see pizza places like this, you are in the right place for pizza. Believe me, I've been in a place similar looking in Downtown Orlando and it was the best pizza I ever had.
I had basically the exact same experience with a flight from London to Paris. It was like a 45 minute flight but it was just one thing after another. the landing gear needed to be checked, the little truck thing that pulls the plane during taxi broke down and they had to get another one, and on and on. It was no joke about 3 hours before we actually took off.
"I just really like salt"
SOMEONE FINALLY GETS IT! YES! IM NOT ALONE!
Heg ye brudder
KSP VAB music at 3:48. Like they're building the plane while you wait. Love it.
How did you not go to Chicago and not even THINK of trying some deep dish and comparing it to New York style pizza?

Omg I live in nyc and there’s this place that has AMAZINGLY accurate New York styled pizza and it’s SO. GODDAM. GOOD.
Lol. I was imagining a chicago deep dish when you posed the question. So, I find it funny that you didn't even consider getting any when you had the chance of stopping there. 😆(No shade to Italy. Your pizzas are great too. Love the onion and tuna pizza.)
