I started basketball when I was 3, my only memory of that is learning how to shoot and making constant excuses to not play. Then I did cheer when I turned 6, and I also did tumbling during that time. Only memory of cheer is the burning hot sun, only memory of tumbling is the beams we were never allowed to use. Then I started gymnastics at 8 years old, I have a lot more memory of that, most of the kids in that class were younger. There was also a boy in that class, and I thought he was really cool. I moved and didn’t start gymnastics again until I was 11. I ended up quitting because I lost motivation. I’m 15 now!

The "is XYZ a sport" thing is hilarious to me. Marching band, competitive dance and colorguard have been long debated as sports. It used to get on my nerves but it's honestly funny looking back. (Technically by definition they're all sports, but people tend to argue if there's no ball or puck, there's no sport. Which is a tangent in itself because by that logic track and swimming aren't sports)

The "is XYZ a sport" thing is hilarious to me. Marching band, competitive dance and colorguard have been long debated as sports. It used to get on my nerves but it's honestly funny looking back.
(Technically by definition they're all sports, but people tend to argue if there's no ball or puck, there's no sport. Which is a tangent in itself because by that logic track and swimming aren't sports)
