  • I have adapted this 1/20 scale trailer to carry my small plant vehicles behind the Mercedes Arocs halfpipe tipper, the plan is at some point to install motors on the ramp and add working tail lights

Great addition to hauling.. I know what trailer that comes from.. Its a good match up. Always wondering how the two companies sized up..What resistor size do you use for your 5mm bulbs going directly into receiver? you need some of my cleets..the whole world does lol.. Let me see if I can figure out how to load a file for sharing..stay in touch and also theres no way big bruders are going too fit in those xmass stockings lol..

Hey Ron the trailer is ideal chopped down to suit as it look proportional, in its original full size being 1/20 it looked small against the bruders, for me it seemed to be a good use of an otherwise redundant trailer.
The bulbs I use are all 3mm 3v the lighting unit I use plugs into the receiver but outputs a lower voltage depending on the output sockets used

Cool thanks for info. I also used the same type of lighting unit you use in my grey mack hauler I built yrs ago. It has the chrome 2.2” wheels on it. That’s a great light kit simple and safe from blowing lights. A few of my other rigs I run direct 5mm lighting straight into receiver box. I have 2.2 ohm resistors laying around so I link them into my lighting too keep from blowing. It works but I think I can still go smaller of resistor for a brighter light. There’s a math formula to figure this out yet I’m feeling to lazy to do that 🤪. Have a great week ahead. Ps have you heard of anything w/ Pete? Fell off the grid after going famous.
