Can I just say I can see a Tomley Trails meet up event coming on…. That trail looks amazing and I’d be happy to to walk up there with a pack lunch for a days walking, talking and crawling….. Great trail with a great truck…….
I bought a TRX4 Landie Summer of 2019. Whilst I like the functionality, I'd have preferred clear windows on the body and working lights. And I don't intend to splash out £150 on another body with clear windows and another £100 on a light set.

I though the same thing when clicking the video, but seeing the detail and the metal pinion ring gear had me thinking $400 is pretty cheap for what you actually get here.
125 won't even get u a cheap 1 24th scale crawler . . This hobby is not cheap if anyone wants a cheap hobby look else where. . And it's so addicting that you won't even care about the price, and 400 will start looking cheap once u spend 2k on a crawler, lol
Mmh bei gmade buffalo was 300€ the kit. Cheap motor hobbywing and some me servo. Under 400. So o got a cheap one? Thought it's moderately expensive

I thought the crawler performed really well. It did almost everything you asked it to. It's a great choice for people who want to take it for walk and do some crawling and it looks good. That was a beautiful spot for your filming.
Those side bars pull out at the front like the ftx tracker. Make fitting the body much easier and you dont scratch up the body

The best part about that crawler, apart from the apparently good performance, is the body. Just because it is something different than a jeep or land rover lol
How's the run time with the 2000mah battery? The larger battery tray placement looks like it makes it more unstable.
Great camera placement! You could see how steep some places are compared to the top views.
Yes, the body can make all the difference. I didn’t time it as such. But this whole video was recorded on that stock battery 👌

great scenery in today's video that's a cool little truck but I agree why the indicators on so many R.C.'s I live in SoCal most people don't use them on their real cars here ( especially Mercedes and BMW drivers )lol
Great looking body! I've allways had a thing for RGTs/FTXs crawlers/trail trucks. Having a trail truck already I can't justify the money on another one. I want a varied RC collection.

Nice one phil . I got the ftx paso for my daughter due to your video on it and its fantastic . I think this one might need adding to the fleet for my older daughter . Its a great looking truck no frills but capable .👍
Ftx/rgt are definitely improving that looks a nice bit of kit, abit random to have a flat rail chassis on a scale trail rig but it shows what we could expect for their future products and I approve 😅 I just hope they use this style of chassis on a more competitive crawler based rig (scx10pro ect competitor) 👊🏼😎🤙🏼💨💨

There are a lot of negative stereotypes about Chinese products but if you do your research there are some great products out there - RGT, FMS, Cross-RC, Traction Hobby, YiKong, etc.
Looks like a condensed version of the tracker, which completely changed my views on what a crawler should be.

i wish the crawler controlers would either come with a resistive control on the steering wheel itself and or a way to remove the return to center spring.
soooooo many do not know what they are missing till they remove that return to center feature from their sticks!!!!! so much more control and precision!

As an Australian I appreciate this crawler. Very much what a local 4wd would be. Only thing is that the side bash bars are supposed to sit out further to prevent damage. They simply don’t stick out enough. Could possibly fix it with a heat gun.
The axles looks like the Pro Runners' maybe the brass option parts could fit on this one?

I haven't had an RC car since my Tamiya Sand Scorcher in 1981 but this crawler makes me want to get into this hobby again. I wouldn't be able to explain it to the missus though....

Great location! Some of the scenery is so so scale, works perfectly with this truck, which I like very much 😊 Bushido possibly still wins it for me tho👌
I could be wrong, but I THINK those bars that go over the front wheel wells can lift up out of the side step and swing out to make it easier to get the body on and off. Again. I may be wrong... But I THINK that's how it works.

I'm a fan of what RGT puts out. They're typically rebranded in the states, but I have no complaints with what they come up with. And I love the budget-friendly approach!

The yellow color is my fav i like this RC
Have a gander at the Yikong 4106 pro. It has rear brake discs going on, it's a crawler and it looks and performs well, about £250.

I have a couple of their older rc's. Fantastic crawlers. Only downside i haven't found a hard body that fits that wheelbase. These newer ones look pretty good to. Paid 85 US for mine 5 years ago lol

2in1 ESC/RX at that price 😬. Actually it looks better than most crawlers that use the generic Hobbywing 1040. I wonder if it's the Flysky unit as that is super smooth in the Element RC Sendero 12th scale truck

Phil, just purchased my first 10th scale short course truck and it's so epic
1/10th scale short course trucks are so much fun to race on the track with buddies. So much more fun than open-wheel trucks and buggies because you can bump and rub into each other without getting caught on the tires and flipping. It's my favorite type of RC racing. Congrats, bro!

Is this a crawler or a trail truck?
How does its performance stack up against something like the TRX4 or the SCX10?
It doesn't seem like the truck is anymore capable than a standard basher truggy😅 (albeit slow and deliberate rather than wheel speed and hold on) haha
Love the look of this one was looking at it on ali but i think ill wait for ftx to get it as i dont want to pay import fees id say this is one of the best looking trucks to be released in a while its not the same old 313mm that we keep getting cheers tomley for the great videos its not easy to keep great content on yt

Wow currently 100€ cheaper on Asiatees compared to Ali. That thing is a steal for only 234 bucks.
The Way I understand it - Asiatees do not take Care of VAT and other taxes - whereas Ali Do.

Perhaps the crawler could pull the Hilux without you having to put your foot on it if the tow rope was not at an upward angle. As it is, the tow rope is lifting up on the rear of the rig and it loses traction. I don’t know how you might correct the angle of the tow rope but the fact is it’s pulling up on the back of the crawler.

Thats a awesome deal for that. I love my rgt bronco, i got a traction hobby a couple months back and yes thats a expensive rc truck but worth it , this is definitely worth it in my opinion, 👍
