Kirk is one master trash-talker; moments like these make me glad that both of them are on 'our' side they'd make fearsome villainsXD He hit right where it hurts, too, even threw in a good ole "Yo Mom!"
I used this scene in one of my podcast episodes, but I also included the scene afterwards where Kirk goes "Believe me, Mr. Spock. It was painful, in more ways than one."
I like how Spock sits there and tolerates Kirk calling him a devil eared freak, his father a traitor, his species sub human, etc. But then he's tipped over the edge by being told he should be squatting in a mushroom.
At 0.24 Kirk says this about Mr Spock " Aroused his great physical strength could kill " This coming from Captain Kirk a master of unarmed combat and a victor of many fights is the supreme compliment proving how strong Mr. Spock is. I would rate Spock slightly above peak human.
"It's a risk I'll have to take." Really? You couldn't have tried to turn Scotty, Sulu and McCoy first, so you'd outnumber him? Well that didn't work in "Mirror, Mirror" so whatever.
I was looking for this clip to use on my FB to prove a point about something BUT I needed the end part where Kirk cures him too hehehe Thanks anyway though :)
I can understand why Kirk said it was painful in more ways than one. You do not like telling your friends horrible things about them that you do not really mean. It kind of contradicts the fact that they are friends of yours.
Dorothy C. Fontana has Kirk talking smack like no other writer could.
What a show this was, the concept, the characters, the story lines, the music, the cast dynamics, man it had it all!

"The term half-breed is somewhat applicable..."
Never change, Spock!
Kirk's stunt double was getting pounded pretty good...
"A machine can be computerized, not a man."

That dog faced boy line, would even make Gandhi take a swing at him.
I would say it was line before and right after that pushed him over the edge.
The shift in mood at :40 is priceless.
“Right next to the dog faced boy.”
Oh, you did it now Jim. Those are fighting words 😂🤣
Why is it every solution Spock related amounts to "Piss him off and he'll be back to his emotionless self."
Had to check back with my childhood hero's.
0:42 I always get a chuckle when Kirk is suddenly seen with a weapon, villainous music and all.
The dog faced boy line kills me every time!
Your father was a comPUTER
Tell Spock how you really feel....😆😆
I loved that show and this is especially entertaining thank you.
In the 23rd century and it looks like Kirk packed everything in a Samsonite............HILARIOUS!!!!!!
Kirk looked funny when insulting Spock 😂😂😂😂

anger is the cure for weed
You tell him jimbo. Shake him out of his slumber.
2:34 is just great
I laughed so hard at that part tbh 😂

Your father was a computer.
Don’t mess with Spock!
Jeez Kirk ,you had to hit it were it hurt. And honest I think it hurt Spock more when he was throwing Kirk around like a rag doll.
This scene was so good hahaha

"You are an overgrown jackrabbit" "And you got the gall to make love to that girl!"
I never heard so many fighting insults packed together in seconds. Lol!
Every time Kirk says to Spock 'And you've got the nerve to make love to that girl' I always say 'Hark at you lover boy!'
you mean the "GALL"
Captain rag doll!
lol, great memories 😂
Angering him.
