Actually it makes perfect sense. In order to function they would have to pour concrete to make an even floor to move things around. : )

I've always loved how 'Captain' becomes 'Jim' as soon as Spock has reason to be worried. Star Trek rocks, and so does K/S! (Even the creator agreed. Gene Roddenberry was well aware of the various hints they threw out.)
