As far as non-rookie cards go, I'd give a shout to the 2018 Opening Day Blue and Purple foils. They have the rookie cup, as well as that now classic design element in a color parallel. If you don't have the scratch for a black, I think these are great options. Nice video, fellas!
So last spring, we had a snow day up here in the PNW so my coworker & i went into our LCS. He bought a hobby of 2022 topps chrome, which was the release where they forgot to include the silver packs and loaded them up w/ old redemptions and shipped them to the shops to distribute as people purchased a hobby box. Well he had me open up the silver pack and I pulled a 2017 Aaron Judge Bowman Chrome Blue Auto /125… he express graded it to PSA it got a PSA 9 w/ a 10 auto… he then sold it in the winter for $800… card sells for $2k raw today… lol

Great stuff as always. Personally since I am a Vintage guy but I am also addicted to judges 2022 and 2023 topps and topps chrome cards due to his 62 hrs in 2022 exactly 61 years after Roger maris hit his record breaking 61 HRs in 1961 🤯. The 2023 topps being that Topps was really using there brain and numbered the 2023 card #62 🤯🥳 I just love it and ofcourse with 2022 representing the actual year he broke the record I just love it. The Roger Maris 1961 Topps card is a very very popular card so I love that I can collect all the 2022 and 2023 in so many different variations that represent the greatest record in all of baseball. One last thought is judges 2022 MVP auto buyback #d /22 released in 2023 I personally think is an extremely important card not only being the record year but the fact that I think its the first time topps has ever done the buy back program and most likely will continue to do that forever. Bat under Arm is by far his best image. If you squint really hard you can see the Babe. Judge on one team... Yankee captain..hard to go wrong.Now he just needs some post season glory to put the bow on the package.
Good stuff- was always wondering why he didn't have a Bowman 1st. Some of my favorite images of Judge from Topps that I've picked up are 2020 Heritage Chrome Refractor #/571, 2022 Home Field Advantage, 2023 Cosmic Chrome Launched into Orbit insert Orange Galactic #/25. All these look pretty cool and have low pop. I also like his Rookies from Gypsy Queen but haven't picked one up yet, Missing Backplates are very shortprinted sub #/99. Dare I say he also has some great looking cards from Mosiac Panini sets, yikes!!!

I think my best Judge is my 2019 Opening Day Rally Time ssp. Also have an A&G framed relic, Stadium Club Chrome /50 and a bunch of various parallels /299 to /999. Only have one of his 2017 cards, and it is the HRD card which doesn't have the RC. But my entire collection, outside of a handful of cards, is either pack pulled by me or from a group break.
@Blabbin_Bout_Slabbin I think Soto and Judge are finding thier early season groove now but what WILL help is when Dominguez is called up and inserted into the lineup in September. We'll see!
I don’t have a dog in the fight, but I don’t believe Altuve cheated. In any event, he has proven every year how good he is. His track record is very long and the size difference between him and judge makes it even more remarkable. In fact, I believe he’s HOF bound and rightly so.
Big fan of Stadium Club, and that image is great, BUT have to go with the 2013 Bowman Auto all day given the choice between the two. There are way fewer Bowman 1sts than Judge RCs and the Bowman demand will always be there.

Hey man, I think I just responded to you on our other video. The sapphire is pop 50 in a psa 10 and it’s probably one of his better non auto rookies. Although, I think a topps chrome gold refractor is around the same price and there are only 50 of those TOTAL! Personally, I just don’t like the image so I’d rather spend that money on an auto. Ideally a 2013. Judge had a ton of rookies in 2017 didn’t he? Some of the transcendent stuff looks great but I just can’t get into it. Too niche. Too insanely high end.

Not sure why that is so high. He's also got the 2017 Topps Allen & Ginter Framed Mini Red Ink Auto - rare, only /10, BGS 9.5 in the 4 - 5K range, great looking card. And I love the look of 2017 Bowmans Best, there is a PSA 10 Red Refractor, /10 , no auto, 8K asking price. I'd love a higher end Judge that doesn't break the bank.
That is a nice card! I do like the base image of him swinging better than his Finest First running. And some of the parallels look great, a lot of color that year! Just feel like in comparison to some of the others (Topps Chrome, Bowman Chrome), I'm afraid they'll get a little lost in the shuffle. But truly you can't go wrong with any on-card RC auto of Judge, including Finest. Thanks for commenting!

@@Blabbin_Bout_Slabbin Hello first great content and information on your channel, the only one in a 10 on ebay is $7500 with a pop of 3 in a 10 total pop 15, but i got lucky and after years of looking i found one of the other 2 psa 10 on pwcc picked it up for only $300 i got super lucky!! With tons of his high end RC this is top 2 for me, Its not always about the value just dig that card and the grin he has on his face. keep up the great work you guys are really doing a fantastic job, thank you guys
@@Yankees4TheWin Great job hunting it down! It's a great card, but for the most part Opening Day SSP havent quite cracked the mainstream hobby yet. They have their fans - usually its anybody who KNOWS about them! I love them - the 2020 Acuna with Freeman, harper with Blooper, the 2014 Jose Fernandez with the dinosaur! Some amazing cards. We probably shoud;ve mentioned the Judge - if it was a better image, it wouldve made it!

@@Yankees4TheWin I get it - the image is different. And the rarity sure helps! I don’t know of a page that lists all the sp/ssp in general, but Beckett usually has image galleries year by year. I just Google “2017 Topps opening day Variations” and you can find the gallery.
One of my favorite variations is the 2018 topps archives 1959 design with him swinging the bat. It has a very classic feel to it.

The 2017 Topps Sports Crate Judge card is beautiful. The photo on the card is the same one used on the cover of Sports Illustrated in May 2017.

I think the 2013 will always be the card partly because it's Bowman but especially because of the image. It's just a great looking card.

2023 series 2 yankees team golden mirror. It's a team card but it's judge breaking the HR Record so I think it's more of a judge card.
