Lots of questions about the waterproofing status after replacing cover. While I'm no expert, I would only point out that the back cover was originally installed by a machine. Imho, I believe the phone would remain splash proof at best, not sure that I would trust that it's even remotely water resistant after performing this fix.

So if you needed to replace only the back camera lenses glass would reusing the same back glass cover cause a point of entry for moisture to enter the phone. If so how would you reuse the back glass cover when replacing only the camera glass

@@keithdrake417 I do this for a part-time job and when you remove the back glass cover and the cover for the the camera and the heartbeat monitor that glue that he removes you have to replace you have to remove all the glue and replace it with double face tape that comes in rolls or you use a b700 glue that is a it comes in adhesive tube it's really good glue and quite a few phone repairs techs use it.

and using those guitar picks you took some of the adhesive off it's never going to be as strong as it was in the first place..

My whole point is he is not all set even if he gets sticky tape or whatever
There is no more water resistant or waterproofing IT'S GONE, THE IP68 WATER RESISTANT IS GONE..
You can only do that stuff at a certified Samsung place with Samsung tools or you have to send it to the factory..
