@@taigaramsey8061 its a soldering mat i have found out. They are magnetic too. and i want one. Some come with a wrist grounders. Not expensive either on amazon. U can get a heat mat too...those are a little more expensive...tho if i did phones alot, i def get one.

And do you remember how the bulb was once changed in a car? They pulled out the old one and put on a new one. Now you have to dismantle half the car. ;)
They do this i tentionally to keep themselfs and undustry suppkied with jobs. If they made it to kast nobody would replace upgrade as often as today. People use to see prodicts as making an imvestment and we wanted it to last.
When i discovered you can replace JUST the glass i was like: woow nice dont have to pay that much for display replacement (only glass broke) i can also do this at home! Turns out i cant and i doubt i will try. Nice work man Kinda disappointed that i cant do that at home though :(
If you know its just the glass , sometimes there is local places that they can do it for you. Ofcourse just make sure they are charging just for the glass and not the actually amoled or lcd screen

From s8 up u can use heat for separate between glass and oled but s7 edge u should use freezings machines
