I have been an instructor pilot of light and ultralight aircraft for over 35 years, and I honestly do not believe that the graphics of the FS 2020 scenarios are adequate for the real training of light and ultralight aircraft pilots. Microsoft thought it (rightly) for those who want to play and not for the training of pilots. for this reason it is much better to take the realism of the X-Plane flight model and build on it autonomously dedicated scenarios. As has been done successfully with the Italian project of the "VFR ESTREMO". In this case, a synthesis of the advantages of the two simulators was obtained. maximum realism of the flight model and maximum realism of photorealistic scenarios.
Redownload the installer, and retry installation. But DELETE the previous X-Plane 12 installation. If the problem persists, contact X-Plane 12 support.

@@samaviation3457 I have my demo downloaded to my HDD, but you can download it anywhere where you have enough storage on. All you have to do is launch the launcher and follow the steps, should be simple.

for a real pilot i would take physics over graphics anyday, hence why x-plane is the clear winner.
