Finally a channel with info that actually helps. I see so many videos on this topic and it’s almost always “shoot more? Check your DL, change your weights” all of which can help but d loop height is something that gets overlooked. It can drastically change your ability to hold better.
@@ethanhiggins4268 hey I appreciate ya bubba and appreciate the kind words!!
The most critical aspect in regards to pin float is proper draw length, an 1/8" adjustment can make a big difference.
I have found the I need to run my nock point about .150" above center of the berger and I also run my top cam .030" ahead of the bottom. My misses tend to be low, and this helps alleviate some of that.
thanks great vid. the single hint that helped me reduce pin wobble was to try to push my left scapula into my left back pocket while holding. ( right handed shooter ) Im a hack but that hint made a big diff for me.
Lots of good info on this video! I will add a few more things just to complicate it all even more. You can also tiller tune which means adding and taking away turns on your limb bolts to change pressures on the bottom or top limbs.
The other things I will say is to do drills with your shooting. Its always more fun to shoot far and at targets but its never a bad idea to do a few shooting drills whenever you are practicing. Get up close to the target and shoot. You will see less movement while close to the target and can focus more on your shot. Another one is being close and drawing your bow with eyes closed to anchor... open eyes and aim the bow safely... close eyes and execute a perfect shot. This helps you FEEL a good shot better. Last trick I often do when I am holding poorly is just draw your bow with no intention to shoot the arrow and just sit there and let your pin or dot sit in the middle. With no shot anticipation, you will find that you can hold significantly better often times. This can show you how capable you are of holding still. It may surprise many on how well they can actually hold when shot anticipation is removed. When you get tired, let the arrow down and do not shoot.... then do it again for as long as you want. Repeat as much as needed. Good luck
that ankle weight on the wrist is genius
Ever since I started pulling hard into the back wall my accuracy improved quite a bit, especially at like 60+ yards
Good stuff brotha!
Appreciate ya sharing ,
Paige Pierce is the god of bow tuning and she has some YT vids as well
Appreciate the love bubba
Great Info! Appreciate it very much.. keep up the great work
Man that's good stuff right there, I think this info could be good for some novice archers but more so a step or 2 up from novice.
This is why the new Darton Sequel ST2 is AWESOME. No press needed to adjust cam Timing. And a TRUE fix to cam lean.
Hi, What release are you using? Is it a hinge? 4 finger? Great Video
It’s a truball hbc flex in black tungsten
Everyone wants a light bow then they add weight to hold steady never used a stab. Well I did try several but did not see any difference out to 60 yards my heavy bare holds rock steady
i could really use an upgrade. i love my bow, but its coming up on 13 years old.
@@WesleyDoes_ old bows need love too!
Your "bow elbow" and moves his shoulder like 3 times 😂
What stabilizer are you using? Aae?
@@Briguy933 they are bowmars hitlist bars but Aae makes really good bars!! And the bee stinger micro hex bars are money
