Fun fact: The reason the double cherry was made is because a dev accidentally placed 2 marios into the level but actually thought it was fun, so they made it a power up.
5:13 the penguin suit has actually only been in 2 games, and only prominent in 1, nsmbw. doesnt appear anywhere else and can only be found in nsmbu in world 9 mushroom houses. unless you were talking about the animal itself being prominent in mario games, which ig is true

If you use the penguin suit in other worlds it’s kinda useless other than shooting ice balls. It’s something like a leaf power up and a tanooki suit. One is better than the other but it’s rarer.
You might be having trouble with the Cape Feather because you’re not actually supposed to press up and down on the D-pad. You’re supposed to press right to dive and left to pull back and gain height
Propeller hat is the best to me but I call it the spinee since at the time I was 3 I use to my mario for the Wii and I couldn't pronounce big words so I call it a spinee
The Ice Flower isn't as useless as what many people like you make it seem. Yes, the Penguin Suit has the better abilities but without anything with water or ice grounds which BTW the Penguin Suit is only found in levels other than Mushroom Houses, it's basically just another Ice Flower but with very tight sliding tractions. Ice Flower is more common and the Penguin Suit is rarer. You will sometimes need Iceballs in general to reach certain high areas with Star Coins.
Honestly, the effects from the mushrooms you ate were perfectly executed. The sounds and size changes were so realistic. Awesome job.
