- This is the most difficult challenge that I've done to date. I had to complete the game Super Mario 3D World with a bunch of restrictions. Some of them were no running, no power ups, no killing or damaging enemies.

this is why i love to see this kind of challenge, not only very interesting but also teach us to think out of the box and explore everything that seems impossible in normal gameplay
You should definitely do this with the three special words. Star, crown, and flower. I really enjoyed this and applaud your effort

I can't believe you managed to pull this off. I've been playing Mario games since day one and I'll never be as good as this.
The one with the spinning platform, line of ghosts, and dry bones took me many tries on a regular playthrough. I can't believe you got it without killing or running.
This is giving me so much hype for 3D world and Bowser’s fury.

I can see a person who do Mario Kaizo Romhacks seeing this video and saying “Interesting “ and started making a kaizo Mario 3D World with:
1. No run button
2. No power ups
3. Only Mario as a playable character
4. Enemies hurting you when you defeat them (bosses not included)
5. Enemies can’t be interact using touchpad
6. Only regular jumps
7. No checkpoints

The solution to most of the "unavoidable" enemies being "just walking forward as if they didn't exist" was pretty amusing.

Actually if you jump on the dry bones they don't die. They just fall apart and a couple seconds later they get built back up again

If I had a channel, it wouldn’t be that easy to get a sub like that
I have 2 things to say:
At 16:38, you avoid hitting the DryBones so they don't die.
But they can't die. They only collapse. They wake up later.
And at 13:55, you can get the green star, if you hit the right Hop-Chop.
Hop-Chops die if they don't have a springboard in them. If you "kill"
the right one, they become a spring you can use, and eventually, the spring
will turn back into a Hop-Chop.

I think dash panels should have been okay. It's kinda like jumping off ice does a spin jump. You don't press the button so it's fine

14:57 In order to go there you need to hit the POW-Blocks. If you hit the POW-Blocks, you kill the plant. If you kill the plant, you go against the rules. And the rules are simple.
You would think that but I actually did it a different way. I lured a Bob bomb over to the Pow and then he exploded on his own without me touching him which caused the Pows to go off. So basically the bomb killed himself which killed the Piranha plant.

Well done for that challenge.
Now, what's your opinion on getting every cat shine you can possibly get without having to do the first final fight (When you reach 50 shines), but with Bowser continously chasing you (at 47 shines)? There's a total of 79 cat shines you can get before doing the first final fight and I know what you're thinking "That's all? Easy peasy!" - Well not quite! If you die before the 47th shine, start the whole run over. If you die while between 47 and 79 shines, restart the run at 47 shines.
Someone: So... How many conditions do you want for this challenge?

The dive on switch works so good for some of the stars in this run...

Crouching repeatedly makes you build a lot of speed
6:33 You could also abuse of a glitch that let you slide ultra fast by mashing the crouch button
This man got super lucky with the split paths and getting the exact star amount twice

I wonder, are any more of these possible in the switch version? It seems dumb, but just that bit of extra speed they added to moving could make a lot more possible.

Just a fact, the dry bones dont die by stomping on them, they are just stunned temporally. And technically you can't really damage them, since they have infinite health.
If you use the momentum from the slide you will go really fast without running and using the dash pads and the momentum is fast enough to jump over 3 huge gaps but you have to be precise of jumps or you will mess up and there is one more gap with enemies and bounce pads but you can jump over it
6:19 you can collect the helicopter and do the ice glitch to zoom past that level. Unless you count that box as a powerup
