Very good bread. I've made similar bread before and I learned that you can just throw all the ingredients into a food processor (NOT a blender!) so you don't have to melt the cheeses. Some people melt the cheeses anyway because that's how they learned to do it so they stay with the original method. I'm a lazy cook and I found that the second method tastes just as good as the first so I just throw everything into my food processor and make quick work of it. I usually throw in a bit of garlic powder for extra flavor. VERY NICE BREAD! Sometimes I make the buns bigger and use them to make hamburgers.

I used 150gr gauda, 100gr smoked cheese and 100gr mozzarella (that's what I had in the fridge) and it turned out wonderful!

Keto - Cheddar Flat Bread
Use a scale
350g cheddar cheese (Less fat)
80g cream cheese
Mix above together & m'wave ~ 2 mins, then mix well to combine
In separate bowl, add & mix together these 3:
112g almond flour
14g coconut flour
6g BP
Combine 2 bowl contents into 1 & mix together to combine
Add egg & egg white, then mix to combine
Knead with hand till dough forms
Make into 9 equal sized balls--shape to rectangle, cut in thirds, then thirds again
Roll each piece into a ball
Line baking sheet with parch & space the 9 balls onto sheet (they will spread to burger bun size)
Preheat to 350F
Add sesame seeds to tops & press down a bit
Bake 25 mins
Let cool & slice most of the way thru, then fill as desired.

Totally agree, it looks really good! I'm looking at keto and cannot have gluten but love my bread! I might use this as a base and retrofit it to make other bread, like Russian black bread which is my favourite!

if you are on keto and still miss sugar/wheat you are doing something wrong. try IF or fast for a day or two

You're a heaven-sent!!! While everyone else solves the binding issue with (unhealthy) psyllium husks or (stinking) xantham gum, you use cheese as a binding agent!!! Genius!!!
Thank you so much for this info on psyllium husks - was about to bulk order, have just cacelled! Have gone for milled chia seeds instead ... Here he is in fact using egg as the binding agent, which is fine, but I'd prefer not to use for Indian flatbreads, hence the psyllium ...

Finally I found a recipe very close to bread! For me this is the best bread, it is nice also with jam. Thank you so so much, there are so many recipes for keto outside, but most of them are crap. My Flatbread got very brown during baking and didn't blew up like yours, doesn't matter. It is delicious!

This is like the easiest keto bread I've ever seen and it taste as good as the real bread. No complicated and expensive ingredients calling for mozarella and xanthan gum.

On the website is says 30 to 35 minutes. I have tried this twice now, mine does not rise. It stays flat and then starts to burn at the bottom after 13 minutes. I have tried diff cheeses, 2 diff ovens as well as diff baking sheets.
What am I doing wrong?

OMGOSH! Took WAY too long to find the closest conversion for 350gms to cups but as far as I could tell, it's 1 1/2cups!

I made these yesterday and they turned out fairly good. I did find them a bit stodgy but they were definitely tasty. I added garlic cream cheese, garlic powder an some jalapeno's to the second batch I made and omg they made a great sandwich bread. They didn't toast very well so I think I'm going to try popping 1 into my waffle maker to crisp it up and see what happens because I really miss toast, I also found them to be very good for dipping in soup also so I'll definitely be making these again. What was also good about these is that there's no xanthan gum. protein powder etc that I needed to go and buy. Thank you for the recipe..

QUESTION ABOUT FREEZING... Thank you very much for the recipe, they are in the oven cooking right now and I can't wait to try them! Are these suitable for freezing, and if so how long will they freeze for please? As a single person I tend to find most recipes make too much in one go for me.
Hi yes you can frezz them then bake it
Once baked you don't need to freeze them. Bread lasts a long time in the fridge eg easy 2 to 3 weeks no problems.

Yes, I will definately give it a try because I really do want to eat a *Döner* once again, this is a turkish dish in Germany where you put shredded meat, shredded iceberg lettuce, sliced tomatoes, shredded red/white cabbage, sliced onions and a garlic-joghurt sauce on top of it - usually the flatbread is toasted, crispy and warm - soooooooo delicious!!! 🥰☺🥰

@@mylowcarb I made the flatbread right now buuuut unfortunately I made a mistake by myself and add too less of the baking powder because on my written recipe there stand 1/2 *tsp* instead of the requested 1/2 *tbsp* 😫😥😪 and the flatbread didn't rise 😱😭😭😭 - but it spread pretty well ....... my next try will include the correct amount of the baking powder aaaand I suggest to add not all the 9 flatbreads on one baking sheet and make 2 batches out if it to give them more space!!!
Can't wait to try one of them when it's already cooled and if I'm able to cut it wide enough and toast it like the real Dönerbread and to add some goodies into it!! 😇😋

I’m with you. I love pork! I think will be good with pastrami also. Maybe garlic butter toast. I will try this. Still trying to figure out what I should have in my pantry and quantities seems most people use a lot of almond flour. This is all new to me only on this lifestyle 2 months now

I tried these and they turned out well. However, I did not like the taste and texture of the coconut flour. I found it added a heaviness to the flat breads. Could I have used all almond flour?
It was mostly almond only 2 tbls coconut I think
Grahms I only know cups cant utilize this recepie I dont know how many cups to put in.should give both measurements if u want to use grahms.

This tasted horrible.. Mine came out too thick like a buttermilk biscuit and had that nasty almond flour aftertaste. I have yet to taste a good keto bread recipe.
