Gracie is a gorgeous gray mare that is truly an ultimate all around mount. She is safe for the little ones all the way to grandpa. She does have some go but very controllable and ALWAYS gentle. She has lots of handle and a big stop.
She is a jam up kids barrel and pole horse that’s consistent and honest. She’s not a speed demon but one a kid could start out on. She will also run all the playday events. The kids can take her fast or slow through the patterns. She has seen all the sights and sounds and is good in the rodeo atmosphere. You can carry a flag and post colors on her. She has also been used as a pick up horse.
Gracie is the best ranch horse you could ask for. She has a mind like a gelding and you can use her to do any and everything that you need to do for a days work. She’s been in big country prowling pastures and gathering. She is cowy enough to sort pairs on proficiently. You can use her in the branding pen and drag calves. She’ll drag a cow in the trailer. She’s also one your grandpa can go leisurely spend the day checks fences on. The best thing of all is you don’t have to be a cowboy to ride her. Plus she’s the same horse all the time.
If you don’t have a ranch and you don’t rodeo but need a solid seasoned horse to enjoy and trail riding is your passion then no worries because Gracie is a phenomenal trail horse that will take you anywhere you want to go. She will maneuver up and down mountains. She will cross water like a champ. Rough terrain is no problem for her. She will go across bridges. We’ve ridden her down the highway and traffic doesn’t phase her. She’s been ridden around our horse drawn carriages. She’s used to dogs running around her.
