I quit all processed foods in march. I have lost about 60 lbs and feel flipping amazing. No seed oils, cooking sauces or anything other than fresh fruit and veg, fresh meat and fish, yoghurt, butter, seeds, nuts, eggs milk and cheese. Absolutely transformed
Interesting video. A few observations. 30 days isn't very long in the grand scheme of things. You are already in excellent shape so it is not surprising that your physique didn't change much.
Interesting. Have you read Dr Chris Van Tulleken’s work about ultra processed food? His book and podcast are worth checking out. Add some peanut butter to that date and banana combo, heaven! 🤤
No I haven't heard of him before, I will check out his podcast when I go for a walk. Adding peanut butter sounds like an incredible edition! I am having trouble finding peanut butter in Bali that is actually peanut butter but I will have to try and look a little harder.
Unfortunately that diet is expensive, and most people don’t have the time to prepare amazing meals like that It’s a shame the way the world works in keeping people unhealthy so more money is pumped into medical bills
It is not a lot of weight but I assumed only eating whole foods I would lose weight. It really emphasised how weighing yourself every morning can really help you to stay on track. If I had seen my weight sneaking up over the weeks I probably would have dialled back my Warung orders a bit. :P
If this video gets 200 likes and 20 comments, I will do a week of only eating ultra-processed foods :P
I’m not sure I should be encouraging that 😆
I appreciate you looking out for me 🤣
