Such a wonderful contrast of Harvey being so small at the beginning crossing a brook and then in the last parts of the journey with him becoming this agile, strong hiker. You have given him the confidence to climb more than mountains.

We are so happy for you guys! We had goosebumps and cried our eyes out! We followed you from the beginning. We still had our christmas lights up, lots of snow (knee deep), our dealership was still in lockdown. Spring came, Harvey's birthday, the summer came, we went on a holiday (hiking in France) and we followed you all the way, every single video.... and now it is over we are so proud of you guys! You have done such an amazing job as parents! Harvey just had the trip of a lifetime and we admire you guys! Thanks for bringing us all along with you! I began watching your videos during up rehab from my total knee replacement. I was sad that I missed you by 2 days in Maine (you met my hiking buddy, Crazy Quilt) but I'm happy to tell you all that I finished my last mile of my 8-year odyssey to hike the A.T. 3 days ago (Wednesday) at Newfound Gap in North Carolina and it wasn't snowing! 🌨We all have new adventures ahead. Congratulations, Harvey, on starting kindergarten this week. I saw the piece on the CBS This Morning Saturday program today! I felt so proud of y'all! ❤️

Awesome video. Harvey’s energy and enthusiasm continues to amaze me. Harvey’s Mama, I love it! Can’t wait to see the PCT videos! When I was only a few years older than Harvey, I got to hike a very short distance with Grandma Gatewood. Maybe someday I will get to hike and run into Harvey on the trail. ❤️🥾
I am beyond proud of you all and Sugarman. I've come to respect you all so much. Truth be told, I've come to love a family I'll probably never meet in person. I cried like a baby when you summited. Congratulations on completing your thur-hike. You have changed your lives forever. Yall have created memories that nothing can take away, and grown as a family that will always take care of each other. Great job. Sugarman, if no one else has said it, THANK YOU for everything you have done to help them. They would have found a way to accomplish this without you, but I am sure your help made the adventure better for all. The only sad part of this that now we dont have new videos to watch yall grow everyday. You did GREAT Harvey. Be very proud of yourselves, because everyone else is proud of you.
