With F1 growing popularity and the growing number of celebrities now attending races F1 have got to understand cause and effect hence as for gays and it becoming political is Inevitable also as social media giving voice to a wider range of fans. As for different teams becoming competitive that is also a positive however I do think the second part of the season will be closer contended as more teams will be interpreting the the new regs more similarly.
Be very interesting to see how the cars are after the summer break, with any upgrades/changes in response to the regs and seeing how others have interpreted them. And you're absolutely right - if F1/Liberty Media want to reach new audiences, they have to accept that they can't ignore racist/homophobic/sexist etc. behaviour from fans/drivers/F1-related people. It's also not acceptable for them to claim those things are political and therefore can't be discussed - racism isn't 'political' to a person of colour, and sexism isn't 'political' to a woman.
@@rebeccalsg Sure as with the new technical directive as to the flexing of the floors. I am of the opinion that Mercedes will benefit much more to the point of getting race wins.
