I have zero doubt he's a high-end driver. He has the raw speed and he's god in the wet. Not afraid of battles, doesn't back down (no matter if it's Alonso or Hulkenberg) and will defend his position to death. A few things to note: -wrong passport: this translates to smaller sponsor money, lower numbers, doesn't market so well. and indirectly it will mean lower end car. if he was British or German he's already 3x WDC. -some stupid moves in the past: while having the racecraft, he did make some questionable moves and unsmart management. reputation is hard to undo, especially when media will support anything that Verstappen does (or hamilton or any multichampion for that matter) while k-mag is "BAD PERSON" if he does the same. -fans are stupid and will repeat anything that their favorite driver says. "turn 7, 11 12" yea what about those turns? kevin was in front all the time, wtf were they expecting, he had to back off so that alonso could pass? grow some balls ffs it's racing

Silverstone fans show no respect for Max whatsoever, and will boo him every time he ventures out of the garage, there was even fighting at the last race when Hamilton fans attacked and put a Verstappen fan in hospital. In contrast, the Dutch fans have taken it to the opposite extreme, and just completely ignore Hamilton, they don't even acknowledge he's there. They can't be accused of booing him anymore.

So much of a drivers success comes down to equipment it’s hard to make an accurate assessment. The fact that K Mag keeps getting called back by various teams shows that he is dependable if not great. Like many drivers who have had middling careers in back marker machines there is always the speculation what if they had better rides. Personally I don’t like HAAS. I think management of the team is disgraceful. As long as that remains the case they will always be in back of the pack. However I like Kevin. As much as it pains me I’ll root for him even though I secretly dislike his team.

Ocon should not be in F1. Period He has no skills, he sucked up to Wolff and forced himself. If Alpine thinks they can be WC with Ocon or Gasly, they are delusional. None of them are good. One only races against his team mates and other is way too emotional and loses everything under pressure. And also Otmar, who is also just hanging around F1 team after team.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the future of Alpine. I have a lot of respect for Mika Hakkinen, Karun Chandhok and Paul di Resta. As well as your insights. I hope not, but I think there will be issues between the two Frenchmen, to the detriment of the team. 🌞

F1 is so closed minded when it comes to fashion, its laughable, take a look at any other sport and you would see that videos like these are not needed coz its a nor. Funny how this season we saw more and more drivers embrace the Hamilton way when it comes to fashion and paddock looks and its been amazing to see their own personalities shine through with fashion. You might not understand it or like it but how does that affect your day to day like? I doesn't.

8th like today. I have been waiting for your latest thoughts on this F1 season. A friend of mine said he doesn’t mind Max winning, he just doesn’t want Christian Horner to win which, I guess, says it all especially if you include Susie Wolff’s comments on drive to survive. Please post more often, I miss your insight. 🌞

He's already an F1 legend. The best comparison for Max so far is Fernanado Alonso. Won 2 early back to back titles for a Renault team no one liked and replaced the G.O.A.T at the top of the sport. Same thing as Verstappen. Who knows what the rest of his career will end up as? As of now he has already set a record for race wins in a season and will try to set an unbeatable tally before the year is done

I think you are spot on with everything...Christian Horner and Marko come across as very vile people,the red bull seem very toxic

People seem to forget that Max was booed at Silverstone the years before …….. I was there and witnessed this untypical british behaviour

F1 was dead with every race a 1/2 from Mercedes and British biased F1 Media Max saved F1 with his refreshing driving

I don't think that Max thinks about who's best or that he is the best. Max wants to race and win and does not care about all the rest. And his early crashes everybody blames on youth, inexperience and being cocky is only partly the reason. When you drive a car less quicker than the top cars, one has to take more risks to keep up. And that makes the driving more risky and prone to accidents. Max does not do min games ... sand bagging or other childish stuff. Max is there for one reason and one reason only and that is racing. He loves racing more than winning and is always quick to say he enjoyed the fights on track even when he loses. What you see is what you get. No drama, no political statements, no manipulation no theater ... just racing.

Please mention the boooing at Silverstone. Lulu fans started this. They were first. They began. The orange army just responded.
