As a bloke from a MoPar Family, the best part of the Bronco's (the entire range), is that they force Jeep to work harder at the development of the next models out - Competition between manufacturers is good for the consumer, as it forces the product to be better if they want buyers.
@@ladyrose3285 That's only short term. Once the 'new, shiny' effect of advertising on consumers wears off, the prices drop, especially in places where there are consumer protections from unrealistic mark-ups at point of sale. Dealers will report demand, but will artificially inflate prices by not selling at factory recommended prices.
Haha, I love when people try to label me as a Jeep person, Mustang person, BMW person, Honda person, Subaru person. I'll never understand why people can't have an open mind. Just be enthusiastic about all the good vehicles that do the work I want them too. Makes total sense now, why I love you guys soooo much! Keep up the awesome content!
I do admire your honesty and your objectiveness. One thing I would include regarding ground clearance at the front differential is that with the IFS, that clearance varies with dynamic loading... something to be aware of for those who don't know.
I love the look of the bronco, and the raptor looks amazing. Also far more than I actually need. Not that it's available in Australia, and not that I could afford one. Will have to stick with my 90 series prado.
Great comparison, I am a 6’4 person at 250.. i now have a brapter and my wife an I love it.. now we are learning to get on trails! Thanks for the videos!
Have been seeing a few reviews of the Raptor pickups, this is the first Raptor Bronco review. (Last couple videos). Thanks! Ford Performance group is impressive. (Ford video commercials stated: Step up to Ford. Agree). Still have my 08 Ford Focus. Gets up and goes, plus corners like it is anchored to roller-coaster pipe rails.
I have a 2007 JK 2dr I'm 6'2" and I have the seat raised and close to the steering wheel. The only think my head hits is the roll bar that's over the door. If 8m using my harness it keeps me from hitting. I'm a Jeep guy all the way!
Glad to see the measurements. I was curious how close the width of the axles compared. Question answered, and I was correct thinking they were pretty close.
Very well demonstrated, buy what you like or went, I'm a 392 jeep owner, I'm a mopar lover. But I really don't care what other people like or buy, that's why there's more then one vehicle manufacturer. Just do your thing!
I have a 16 GMC 3500 dually for the road and hauling my 5th wheel. We bought a '23 Wrangler for daily and off road. Love them both for different uses. We've had Dodge, GM and Ford trucks and cars. Im not going to say one is better than the other because we've used each for different reasons. loved the comparison.
It is interesting to see the size differences between the two. I will say I am a little taller and heavier than avg and I do prefer the size of the wrangler. It fits between the rocks and trees better on the trails. I've been down some trails where I would not recommend a bronco or a longer wheel base simply because of how tight the trail is. Doesn't mean the right driver can't do it though. It all comes down to each their own I suppose.
I'm 6'3 tall and have no issues with head room with my rubicon 4XE at least..a lot easier to park than the bronco raptor too, especially city living, so for me the smaller dimensions are better but can still get out the city to he trails.. it's also more nimble due to being smaller.. bigger isn't always better..I also think the 392 V8 engine sounds more badass than the raptor imho too
My wife and i looked at a new JLU at the dealership . I’m 6’4 and 230 lbs. what disappointed me the most was a measurement ya’ll didn’t do is in the foot well measuring from door to the console where the 4wd selector is , its horrible the console hits my right side of my knee .. and on a long trip and ya want to relax your legs my leg would be in so much pain from the console digging in my leg .. my older jeep the console is lower and doesn’t hit my knee .. and is much more comfy ( personal opinion) than the JL , shame because id really like a JLUR but i just cant its way to small for me in the drivers compartment.. great video thanks 👍
Great comparison. Two things I'd like to add. One, the front suspension ground clearance on a Jeep will not really change other than tire compression, but driving an Independent front suspension vehicle into a whoops or dip, you quickly loose lots of that clearance as the suspension compresses. I'd bet you'd loose 4-5" on that Bronco in a good dip with momentum. I get this allot on my Canam atv, going down into a dip in the trail and the front end compresses and slams the rock in the middle that wasn't very high. That's a win for the solid axle Jeep, predicable clearance. Other thing was wow, when you opened the rear tailgate on the Bronco, terrible fit and finish with all those spot welds being visible all across the main inside panel, shocking really.
Hey kids! I knew you guys were going to get to this head to head comparison between Bronco & Demon too soon!. Fantastic job breaking it all down & w/ tape measure too! As always, you guys & team @ Lite Brite rocks! Love you guys, be safe out there & keep the bar high! America First!
I don't heavily modify my vehicles so for me the Bronco Raptor is the best out of the box offroad vehicle you can get today. Also the road manners are so much better
Raptor is impressive for being 100% stock even at 85k. I bet they have 130,000 in that Jeep. The front end on the braptor is basically all f-150 down to the bolt pattern. I have a badlands and only don’t have the bronco raptor because my dealer didn’t have allocation to switch to a raptor. The raptor exceeds the regular bronco in almost every conceivable way that matters. For a first effort the raptor is impressive for sure.
As someone who owns a 392 on one ton Dynatracs, 40s, blah blah…stock for stock the Braptor wins hands down. It wins against a 392 on 37s in all except acceleration. raw power, possibly articulation stock vs stock and ergonomics. Steering, better. Handling, better. Suspension, WAYYY better. I’d love to add a Braptor to the garage as a daily in a year or two. Would be a great complement to my rock crawling focused 392. It’s okay to like both!
Not even just as a first effort. It’s definitely a top 3 vehicle to come out this year for sure. The other two are the Civic Type R and the Corvette Z06.
@@The-fs5wnz06 is very underwhelming. Still getting smacked by gt500s. And you still can’t tune them. Can’t add power. If I’m paying that kind of money for a car, I want to be able to do what I want to do with it
My favorite line "Literally almost at the same time" great video! Rubicon Owner but I love the Bronco as well. We are lucky to have two roof off vehicles like this available now.
As a giant, mutant sized 6' 6" and 300+ lb human being, the Bronco is a much better fit for me. I'm hoping the after market takes care of the standard Bronco (vs Bronco Raptor) suspension and steering weakness. I'm also really, really interested in seeing how the portal adapters work out for suspension lift and gearing for 40" tires at some point.
My 2023 Bronco Wildtrak comes standard with the BRaptor HD steering components from the factory. I'm sure 74Weld Motorsports will have portals for the Bronco soon as they provide them to the Ford Racing team. It looks like the Raptor is the best overall stock 4x4 out right now. I wasn't sold until I watched a hour long video on the comprehensive changes made to the chassis and suspension to the Raptor vs. the standard Bronco.
As a Chrysler tech I see the problems they have on stuff all the time and I have chosen to drive a 2021 F150. That being said the dealership I work at has Ford, GM, and FCA and they all have their problems. Watching you videos I keep telling my Jeep friends I need a braptor. Great comparisons between the 2.
Love all your videos Even though I'm a die hard Jeep Person you make looking at other vehicles fun! Keep the great videos coming! They both have their place.
As far as interior size, I am 5'9" and 320lbs....yes thats sad but it was medical and I am still alive so I am happy, anyway, I have a 2020 Gladiator that is built and I fit fine so seat width in the jeep is not really an issue. Love you guys!!!
I would never think about buying a Bronco for myself and the Demon Child is a life goal for me; I'm just saying, I'm a Jeep guy... With that said, I totally dig how impartial your comparison was and the love y'all have for anything "automotive" and their performance. Cool video.🤙
Would be nice to see a comparison on interior as well....like rear air conditioning, quality of materials...etc...but excellent video, was really surprised in dimensions...and I 100% agree with your take on these 2 vehicles in every way.
One of the biggest reasons why I continue to watch your channel is that you aren’t bought by anyone. I have a 22 badlands manual that I like. Except that it’s really needy, it’s a great vehicle. I have never had a new car that was so in love with its dealership. It likes to visit monthly. Small irritation type problems, mostly electrical. Just for context my first new vehicle was a 1989 S-10 4x4. I’ve never had one that spent this much time in the dealership
Welp, I have never seen this channel before, and actually for the first time seeing one of your guys's videos, I rather enjoyed this. Allot of the info to some may sound silly, but I sat here on the couch with a tape measure in hand, on my coffee table running the visualizations to see what the cockpit size differences would notionally look/feel like if the acquired one of these Bronco's, while comparing what I already know of the Jeeps. I appreciate this effort from you two. Fun and information pact video. well done.
I'm a big guy (6' tall and 300) and I have a JL. Enough room for me. No complaints and it's my daily. I will say, I have short legs (I wear 30" inseam pants, always have, even when I was thinner). My JL is a manual and the clutch travel surprised me. I have to sit closer to the steering wheel than I would in an automatic. Someone with longer legs may be able to sit further back.
Great comparison guys! So glad you don’t let people’s negativity get you down cause non brand bias is the best way to compare. Ford did a great job, but still personally pick the jeep every time. Just can’t beat the V8 sound/power, articulation, and trail width. Keep up the great content!!
I’m Glad you guys are doing true comparisons!!! I Love The Jeep! But being almost 6’3” & 230 on a good day, 240 on Holidays 😂 Really hoping when I can get My Dream Jeep, I can fit!
As a first time viewer I think that this video is informative and from the heart. I have a 2016 Wrangler and I love it. I think that I'm going to upgrade to the 2024 Wrangler as soon as it launches and I can't wait! Love the commentary!
Thank you very much for making this vod...I have a Bronco Wildtrak and although I know that the Bronco has a roomier interior than the Jeep, I always wanted to know the demensions and you tow answered my questions. This was such a good VOD....so good
i will say, going from my 18 JL to the 22 badlands, it's soooooooooo much more comfortable and the cab is way bigger than the jeep. and i know the braptor makes the bronco look small haha!
Great video! I actually thought you were both biased towards the Bronco, but at the end you said folks thought the opposite, so I found that interesting. Separate topic, my wife drives a 2022 4xe which I love to drive when she lets me. That said, I am 6'4 and fit comfortably, we all come in different shapes and sizes, but I wanted to mention in case it is helpful.
Kevin and Brittany, I quite enjoyed your TED talks lol. I also agree with you about the Braptor being stock. If you can in fact buy it from the factory like that then it is stock! Keep doing what you’re doing!
Great video guys , I've only seen this one and it was the best one,two punch by a couple i've ever seen or any two person review. I would love having you two as a friend.
Love the content. And glad to see unbiased opinions. So glad to see that Ford really stepped up there game competition is only good for us consumers weather you love or hate either brand it should make Jeep look at changing things and if there was no jeep how lame would the bronco had been? Probably like the sad thing Chevy did to the Blazer. I had and sold a 1st edition bronco was great but was offered dumb $ for it. Wanted to go with Braptor but just so wide for where I can use it that was the problem I had with the F150 Raptor so maybe a badlands in the future not looking for crazy trail worthyness just some fun in Colorado the few times a year i can make that trip
I completehy agree in loving all things automotive. I can't wait to wheel a trail with 7 different rigs all completely different. The variety is so interesting.
Great content! I enjoy your channel and as a life long Jeeper, it's all 1941 for me. I will be 70 this year and I'm on #8, a 2022 JLU Willys. Keep up the great work and travel safe!
I like watching your videos as you’re real , personally I own a badsquatch, and love it. In all fairness I don’t do the same runs you’re doing, however I will be doing every trail that I’m capable of doing as the bronco seems to be more capable then I am at this point. There are nut zerts on my roll cage where those braces connect but my build was in nov 22. Hope to run into you guys sometime. Happy trails!!
I'm 6'3" 255lbs with a 2021 gladiator, my size has never been an issue.....well I have nailed my head once or twice above the door when hitting a bump offroad... but otherwise im in no way hindered by being such a big dude
Another great video! Love your Bronco content! There is one way to get rear cup holders with marine grade vinyl, 2 door! I have one! And before anyone says they are useless, my 10 and 7 year old kids ride back there.
Oh. My. God. I love Brittany. "I will die on this hill." *Aggressively Points to the Braptor*/"It's a STOCK vehicle!" Gotta love a woman that's a "Dime" and has that much conviction. And I say all that with the utmost respect. She's Awesome!
As an off road enthusiast…. Jeep is the way to go due to the amount of products made or replicated for Jeep… You can go to a couple websites, and buy every part to build one in your garage.
if you're looking at the back of the mirror and grab the inboard and outboard of the mirror pull slightly back on the inboard and push on the outboard or if youre looking at the face of the mirror just switch what side you push and pull on. it's easier. it still not as easy as it looks like the brapter is but it's easier and less wear and tear on the pivot point on the mirror. when I worker for Chrysler an engineer stated , that is the proper way to fold the mirror on the wrangler/ gladiator.
Keep up the great work! I just took delivery of my bronco raptor, hope to run into you two soon! But im up in eastern Washington! But have trips planned down south! Love your videos!
Excellent video! I've always said that I don't have to hate something else to love what I have. That rule applies in all aspects of life and makes life much more enjoyable. Both rides are amazing and it's great to see more and more people enjoying their vehicles. I'm happy with what I have and I'm happy for others for what they have. Cheers!
As a new subscriber to your channel, and as a Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ owner mildly modified, I want to thank you for the comparison. It is interesting to know that information. I’m 5’7” tall and getting into my Jeep I sometimes hit my head getting in. My 2000 f150 not so much. My wife’s JKR unlimited, forget it! I have to duck my head to get in because of the factory “cage”. I’ve been thinking about getting something newer to wheel off road with but haven’t made up my mind what. So I appreciate the info you just passed along. Thank you.
The raptor edition is gonna blow most other vehicles away. I love the f150 raptors, they are a beast, and I love driving them. I've never seen details about the Bronco raptor so thank you for sharing. And great thumbnail 👍 Also, Yes people the Bronco raptor is all stock. All raptors come stock and beefed up. F150s and Bronco.
Very cool, guys. I really wasn't aware that the Braptor was that much more than the crapsquach. Yes, I have driven one, and it is noisy. If it were not for the interest rate increase, I would also have a Braptor. Maybe some other time. One thing, though, I've been hearing some chatter about the twin turbo sixes grenading the turbos and / or head gaskets, your thoughts? Or Chris's?
True if you can have both but like Kevin has demonstrated a bronco raptor true 37 if get on good deal differently the one I would take the cake. When Kevin took were stepchild has gone said he's blown away speechless I was in awe. Of course we all know how extreme stepchild can go it's heavy modified. Thks guys. 🤙😎
The crazy thing is how heavy the Raptor is , at almost 5,800 lbs it’s over 700 lbs heavier than a stock 392 Jeep. To be honest I saw how big a POS the first Bronco was and I had low expectations on the Raptor but it has impressed the heck out of me.
I was waiting for the Blondie song to pop on. 😄. One way or the other gonna get ya get ya get ya get ya. Great video that answers a lot of people's questions. Good job guys!!
Love these videos. I sure want the BRaptor but am not currently willing to pay the over sticker price for it. I still love my 2dr BadSquatch. Maybe in a few years I will trade for the BRaptor. Yes, the Badlands has weaknesses but I am addressing those as I can. So far it fits the kind of wheeling I do. My favorite place is Ouray. For me it is more about the scenery than the difficulty and my Bronco handled it without any issues.

I’m 6’2”, 220lbs and drive a Jeep Wrangler sport. And I actually fit quite comfortably. However I do wish the seat could go back further.
With people like you both will continue to improve to fight for top spot keep telling the truth!
This was such a good VOD....so good
Unlike the Toyota, what is the likelihood of breaking the front axles on the Bronco Raptor?
Not a drop of gas wasted, not a single tyre smoked, informative funny filled with innuendo and facts, almost perfect Brittany 🤔
no PB & J 😋❤
i will say, going from my 18 JL to the 22 badlands, it's soooooooooo much more comfortable and the cab is way bigger than the jeep. and i know the braptor makes the bronco look small haha!
Same. My Bronco BB Sasquatch is much more capable and comfortable compared to my old JLU Sport.
Thanks for keeping it real there is always going to be haters keep doing it your way
Great video!
I'm 6'3 225lb and I fit perfectly in the Braptor. It feeeels great.
One of my favorite TH-cam channel! ❤
Y’all’s conviction is great and very refreshing in today’s world of corporate mouth pieces. Keep the content coming.
Thanks for the video very helpful I’ve made my decision and I am go with the bronco can’t afford a raptor but I am getting the big bend
Kevin didn’t measure to the lowest point on the Bronco skid plate. It’s about an 1-1/2” lower.
As an off road enthusiast…. Jeep is the way to go due to the amount of products made or replicated for Jeep…
You can go to a couple websites, and buy every part to build one in your garage.
there is a better way to fold the jeep mirrors but I really appreciate all the work you put into this video
Tell us your secrets! Lol
if you're looking at the back of the mirror and grab the inboard and outboard of the mirror pull slightly back on the inboard and push on the outboard or if youre looking at the face of the mirror just switch what side you push and pull on. it's easier. it still not as easy as it looks like the brapter is but it's easier and less wear and tear on the pivot point on the mirror. when I worker for Chrysler an engineer stated , that is the proper way to fold the mirror on the wrangler/ gladiator.
And they are designed that way so if impacted at speed they break off instead of coming though window!
Litebrite, you're such an enigma. I guess if it goes fast, but wait! You own "K" cars. This is why you're fun and loved.
Cheers!
Loved this side by side comparison.
Well, this video sealed the deal for me. I’ve been happy with my Badlands, but with what I plan on doing to it, I just might as well go Raptor.
Ok now wait 3 years
As a new subscriber to your channel, and as a Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ owner mildly modified, I want to thank you for the comparison.
Thank you.
Love seeing all your content guys. Look forward to seeing all your videos
The raptor edition is gonna blow most other vehicles away. I love the f150 raptors, they are a beast, and I love driving them. I've never seen details about the Bronco raptor so thank you for sharing. And great thumbnail 👍
Also, Yes people the Bronco raptor is all stock. All raptors come stock and beefed up. F150s and Bronco.
Gotta love that tiny Mitsubishi truck in the background❤
That’s why I’ve always liked y’all, because y’all tell it like it is. I’m not brand loyal either, I have a Jeep, a 99 4Runner and an 87 Bronco
I started watching you guys when you got the bronco
Great comparison. I love my older jeep. Love watching yall. Huggs
BUDGET BUILD!!! Older cruiser or a 3rd gen 4Runner. Would love to see it
FYI my JK with full width one tons and 40s (14B rear and SD front) measures 89" to outside of tires.
I really enjoy watching your video they are always very informative, fun and entertaining keep the good work🤙
@text-1203 you are welcome and you all deserve it . I am just glad I can follow your adventures. Wishing you a happy new year all the best cheers 🥂
One of the most fun and interesting reviews. Great entertainment and info
Great in depth video you guys. Just a heads up, you spelt axle wrong on the ending comparisons 💙
