Love your project. One thing i have when welding with wirefeed is that you need clean metal with no rust. Wire doesn't burn through like stick.nice feeding station

I have done that rough torch cut pipe saddles many times. It's really amazing how you recycle trash like old tires into rubber mats. Will be interesting to see how they hold up. Great choice using the Bobcat to place them, it's the most fun way in my opinion.

If thats old drill stem it is magnetized and blows back which makes it almost impossible to lay down a pretty bead. At least for me anyway.

Cleaning the area to be welded using a angle grinder with a flap disk does wonders for making clean and non contaminated welds.

You guys asked in the beging if you were cool. My opinion coolest ranchers on youtube just saying. ICE BABY Just a thought a old style pumper jack would make adjusting your feed bunks much easyer just saying. Love what you guys do.

Clean that rust off first and that slag from your cutting and the weld will turn out much better
