      Lots of good things. The cats are wild cards but enjoyable company all the same.

    Your cat stole the show 🤣 Nice video! Over the winter I picked up an EE 50 degree synthetic - nice quilt just haven't had a chance to get out. You got a nice collection going for various options.

      Yes, the 40° is a nice addition and worked well on my outing to Carrabassett Valley this past weekend. Not that it was cold but I was comfy for sure!

    Nice pad. I dig the wall color. I ended up going with pretty much all Hammock Gear when there were deals. Excellent value. Love their stuff. I'm using their hammock & tarps too. Their down pillow and down hood are pretty great too. I could use a 40 deg top quilt for warmer temps but may go with a cheap Amazon down blanket. Thanks!

      Thanks for the comments - yeah, I've taken advantage of their holiday deals when I can. Looking forward to testing out the 40°!

      No trees - the one drawback of Scotland. But that's also what makes it incredible! I'd make the trade though!

    Seth, I have two quilts a 10 Degree down quilt and a 40 Degree Synthetic quilt. Both are from Enlightened Equipment. As a ground dweller, I also have a high R-Value sleeping pad, the Thermarest XTherm. Like you say, having options, which can be combined or layered, is the best thing about the quilts. Your cat is quite the climber!

      Options can make all the difference. Thanks John!

    Well you convinced me a while ago and now I dig Hammock camping. I have a HG top quilt and a UGQ under (Found bargain hunting) and am as toasty as toasty can be even in the cold. Now I need a phoenix for those between times.

    Good stuff. I personally have really liked Outdoor Vitals products. I have a 15 deg underquilt and a 0 degree and 30 degree over quilt. Main issue is that I tend to be TOO warm so I wake up and have to vent out some heat frequently. Thinking about getting a 40 degree under quilt for warmer temp usage. If I combine that with the 15 degree, it would probably get me down to 0, don't cha think?

    • @RhodySeth
      @RhodySeth  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I think it would. I don't know the formula for stacking quilts but if you put a 15° and 40° together, that should get you to 0°.
