Agar kisiko ko pillion aur bigger panniers ke sath trip krni ho to himmy is better, triumph ki pillion seat bhi chhoti h aur exhaust bhi kafi upar tak aata jisse bade panniers nahi lag payenge. For city commutes Bhi, narrow seat ki wajah se flat foot krna asaan h. Haan, agr kisiko sirf refinement chahiye aur sirf city outskirts tak hi off road krna without carrying luggage, toh scrambler better h.

Scrambler ki break bite deliberately kam rakhi hai in case you go off roading… if you ride in city mostly you can grt Triumph Speed 400 breaks which are better… as per Motorinc (Shumi)
@travelbite Thanks Manish. Haven't ridden the 400X but from reviews etc will prefer it over 452.. coz mostly my best highway speeds are 95-100. Anything above is for overtaking etc But center stand seems to be deal breaker. Chain lubrication or tyre change without it will be nightmare Thanks again bhai and all the best
Bhai I do daily 50kms city and Hardy do Highway or touring...should I go for speed 400 or Himalayan? coz speed is nearly 70k cheaper than Himalayan in on road....waiting for your reply
Go for Himalayan, its the one bike that can do all. plus google navigation is a plus for city or for that matter any unknown destination while keeping the mobile safe in your pocket. that extra amount is worth the spend.
For city driving I would suggest speed 400, it is a lighter bike and has better tyre for traffic. If travelling is done often then go Himalayan, if not you can manage with speed 400. The only problem with speed 400 is that it looks small and thin

Also, I was going to buy interceptor mark 2 from csd but halted my decision when I heard new himalyan is coming out and this is costing me the same in bangalore as interceptor mark2 is costing from csd. Heart says interceptor but brain says himalyan. 😢 also i prefer long distances in motorcycle rather than travelling in city although i will ride it as it will be my main vehicle. What’s your views on this? I have asked some of interceptor owners they say to go for new himalyan, whats your take?
@@vaibhavgaur8200Between those 2, go for the Himalayan. More specifically the Kaza Brown (actually cream color) as it is most practical choice. Makes no sense to spend more just for colorful paint scheme. RE has elevated their engine smoothness game to next level with this bike. Bare minimal vibrations even after 100 kmph. The console is also so much better than Triumph. I only wish it came with tubeless tyre supported spoke wheels at the time of launch itself atleast as an option for 10-15k more.
