If you have service centres nearby, go for the scrambler. It's a much superior machine in terms of quality. The only upside to himalayan is RE's massive service network. Having said that, the triumph is gonna need way less visit to the service centre for sure. RE is infamous for their cone set related issue, also their parts get loose, rattles so on and so forth. While the scrambler struggled with engine stalling earlier, modern ones seldom have any issue at all. I would have gone with the scrambler for a more rounded, balanced and tension free experience.

I am also looking to buy a new bike and can't decide between 400x and himalyan, what would be YOUR choice if you are planning to keep a bike for a minimum of 7-8 years, mostly city use including 2 trips per year of 7-8 days each. My topmost criteria is reliability and ease of living with it. I am planning Ladakh, spiti etc in near future
sir me unicorn 160 owm karta hu aur 1 touring bike chahiye + off road, month me 2 trip maar leta hu aur regular city ride ke liye bhi chahiye and im 6 feet tall, tho konsi bike leni chahiye himalayan 450 or 400x and i want to keep bike for 7-8 years
@@AnishKumar-vx3vx I am 175 and I could barely touch the ground on scrambler 400x, I imagine that If I have a overweight pillion , probably I can not handle problematic situation , it did not inspire confidence in me , so I am deciding to buy Himalyan 450
@@AnishKumar-vx3vxheight doesn’t matter at all. All it requires to ride a tall bike is skills which can be easily acquired through training and practice. I’m 167 and my partner 165. We both find Scrambler 400x much easier to ride than my Himalayan 411. It’s that light, nimble and fun. Don’t let your height stop you from riding tall bikes.

Scarmbler 400x is good option. I suggest wait for couple of months they might launch new model of scarmbler with few changes.

sir, what should I buy new Honda cb350 or triumph scrambler 400 or speed 400? usage - city commute (60%) and highway (40%).
If you have height more than 180cm , scrambler 400x is the best choice

If ht is not an issue go with Scarmbler. Else take test ride of cb350 and speed 400 and speed T and decide
