Apple Watch Series 1 - Swollen Battery Repair!

- In this video I attempt to fix the swollen battery on my Apple Watch Series 1 by replacing the battery and adding new adhesive. This is the first time I have attempted to repair an Apple Watch so will I fix it?

Good vid bro. Next time when u try and pry something off, use a heat gun so you have less of a chance of breaking it.

You can’t use heat to pry the battery out or for the battery connector that my sir would destroy the watch indefinitely. You don’t need to heat anything up since the screen was already popped off/ and to also add lifting the battery bracket cover when it’s adhere to the bottom of the A4 chip it’s actually easier to pry up then it is to just remove it from the area it is stuck in and then attempt to pry it apart.

hey by any chance did your new battery have a black bar inside the connector? mine does and it wont let me connect the 2 together cuz the black bar is blocking it
This wasn’t this case with me sorry, my new battery just clicked into the housing without anything blocking it…I’m not sure what that black bar is sorry.

@@jjrowe1234 hmm do u have the Apple Watch series 1 or the series 1 1st gen? Cuz the one that I bought that’s pretty much the exact same is the wrong one for mine I bought the Model A1578 I need the A1553 which is for the Apple Watch series 1 1st Gen
