    As a representative of the long time viewers, here is an explanation of the rating system for anyone new here!
    Bean: a rating of the feeling you get in your guts when you Give It The Beans
    Cookie: an assessment of value
    Wrench: an assessment of how much of an a** pain something would be to work on
    Squid: a rating of a vehicles handling abilities
    Penguin: an assessment of how much Sarah personally likes a vehicle

    Great review, the CVT had issues and really hurt Infiniti's reliability image. Get one without the CVT and these are reliable cars. On my third Infiniti in a row (M56, Q50 RS, Q60 RS. ) Also have a Lexus RX350 and Id rank my Infiniti's every bit as reliable as the Lexus. With Infiniti you get nicer styling, more performance, and better interior materials. My brand preference between the two is definitely Infiniti. Every bit as reliable and nicer vehicle

Plus, I love the Warm Titanium (paired with the Saddle Brown interior) after having seen it in person, really sets off the styling. Calm, and comfortable motoring seem to be the QX60's strong point, I believe Infiniti has a hit on their hands. Great review.

      @brianeugenelee - unfortunately for you Nissan needs Mitsubishi in Japan as much as Toyota needs Daihatsu for their Kei-sized cars and trucks.
      Also Mitsubishi seems to now follow a policy of making / selling what Nissan can't or won't sell. The new regular Outlander uses the NA-2.5L not mostly (just CA's base model) on the US-spec Rogue (the PHEV still uses the World Engine-derived NA-2.4L with a Misu-designed electric motor system not shared with Nissan) and has the 3rd row of seats the Rogue haven't ever had (once they had 2 removable jump seats as their 6th and 7th seat, but not a bench). The next '24 Outlander Sport is rumored to be made on the next Rogue Sport / Qashqai platform, which won't be sold in US or CA.
      Mitsubishi may have a better lineup than Nissan unless the latter "gets busy" and the Ariya won't help much.

      @Brian Lee So you want Mitsubishi to go out of business because they didn't bring back the Evo? Bruh, there's a reason why they didn't brought the Evo back is that it doesn't sell, Mitsubishi is struggling and you want them to invest their money in a car that barely sells? The reason why Mitsubishi's line-up is almost all crossovers these days is that because that's what sells, the new Outlander is a hit, Mitsubishi's sales are improving, they're not going anywhere dear.

    Am very happy with my older sister from a different Mister : 2015 Nissan Leaf SV . Bose sound , heated seats & steering , cruise control , heat-pump , GPS . Much nicer than the 1963 Ford F-100 pick-up it replaced! At $9K / used in 2017 @ 38K miles it was still like new . . . . & still is 'like-new' ! ! Charge it from my back-yard off-grid solar panels & have only had to add washer fluid a couple times in almost six years. Being retired I have yet to push it's 80 mile range . . . . . so it is 'perfect' for me ! take care, rh

    • @pablorosado535
      @pablorosado535 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If Nissan-Infinity wants more reliability , is highly questionable the use of G.D.I. only direct injectors, even Hyundai decided to eliminate G.D.I and replaced with a combined injection system where multi port and G.D.I are used, no matter they eliminated their Hyundai Accent and switched to CVT'S automatic transmissions only; 2 mistakes. The less expensive Hyundai is now $3,000 more expensive to buy, the Venue, and the CVT'S automatic......the 1-3 miles per gallon improvement could be achieved with better driving habits, without having to expose yourself to premature expensive CVT'S replacement. Specialized transmission mechanics say over the Internet 9 out of 10 times a CVT automatic transmission is not repairable. Is not like 4 speed 5 speed or 6 speed automatic transmission at all. Nisaan would return to its recognized higher quality standards of the past if they eliminate everything established by Carlos Ghosn and others not so well known like Mr. Patrick Pelata, a no. Japanese Nissan Executive who said and quote: "we have to be careful with overquality because owners will not keep their cars for 10 years. " Then, this bad philosophy makes manufacturers produce vehicles that start to fail at 5 years with expensive repairs for the next 5. My 2005 Toyota Corolla bought since new in 2004 is 18 years 2 months. Many people prefer overquality unlike Patrick Pelata said years ago I think it still appears over the Internet.

    Oh, that was a nice surprise! Did not expect a new video here so soon after the latest one on the main channel! - Don't despise minivans, Sarah - they are excellent ways of travel, (especially the european ones you never got in the US). Sad thing is that they never made any effort to do minivans for active drivers (in the US), which gave them an undeserved bad rep, even here in Europe, and now they are dying off for no rational reason - they still have a place in the market I feel. Loads of space in a realatively compact format and great visability for all passengers can not be a bad thing! I didn’t have super long travel but in the short travel distance that had it was very accurate I remember that….. and as a driver I feel when you have great brake pedal feedback on a car it’s very assuring , The Subaru has a long pedal travel which I’m not a huge fan of ! the only thing I did not like was the solid rear axle in the back, and the transmission was anemic they did offer manual transmission with the VQ30, hopefully one day Nissan/ Infiniti we’ll get back on track.

    Not to stick a knife in the back of Infinity and twist it around a bit but:
    Infinity = Nissan = /= Renault by association. Which is probably where they got the idea for the outstanding interior design, but also the cost cutting unpainted engine bay.

    Nissan has never been accused of overpowering their vehicles. Unfortunately. Having owned three different Nissans in my time, the first had the base engine and was woefully underpowered and the other 2 had the biggest engine offering and they were barely adequate.
