  • In this video I review the 2023 Infiniti QX60 Autograph. It comes in AWD and is powered by a 3.5L V6 connected to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Power output is 296hp and 270lb-ft of torque.

@groundedgaming well, if that's pre-Nettuno Maserati then I agree on any bits, but Maserati is the different beast these days nowadays, MC20 is the true return to form supercar that helped Maserati to have better brand image. Infiniti seems lack any kind of meaningful marketing to propel them into the mainstream

    • @groundedgaming

@@baoquoc3710 Yes, it appears after the seperation from Ferrari, their quality and reputation seems to be increasing. It's not to say it's Ferrari's fault for holding Maserati back - it's more of Stellantis investing more in Maserati. After Maserati's revival and the MC20, I do wish for Alfa Romeo to also come back, with maybe a 4C revival top.

This QX60 is a very noteworthy 3-row luxury entry, and arguable one of the best looking in the class (maybe second or third to the GV80 and the XC90). One downside is that every other entry offers more than one engine or powertrain. This would really look and perform well as a 400hp RedSport.

the fact that it use a FWD based transverse platform means it cannot fit that particular turbo engine, atleast not without a major modification to both the engine and the transmission, bcs you can't just simply flip the engine, and that's something I'm sure Nissan (or Infiniti) not willing, or basically too lazy to do

I see Infiniti's all the time. They actually have markets where they sell well, Houston is one. The QX60 is their best seller, but it was production limited due to the parts shortage. But the sales are ramping up and you will definitely begin to see more of them soon. Of course the Q60 coupe is not going to sell in huge numbers because it's a coupe. Hate that it is dying, such a beautiful car.
But the QX60... I've noticed all reviewers keep pointing out the exterior matte plastic trim... all I ask is that everyone keeps the same energy on the BMW X5 and MB GLE, which also have it on the most popular models. Smh. I do think on the Autograph model it should be gloss black. I feel like body color would add too much visual mass. This is pure speculation on my part, but I think Infiniti may have another model coming on the top end that may address that and the smallish looking 20" wheels. I think those two things would take it to the next level exterior wise. Here's to also hoping there is a more powerful powertrain coming as well. It just seems like they left some room up top.
Also... I don't know what it is about your video, but the beauty of the interior comes across really well! I love the color and how almost every surface is leather wrapped. I also had never seen behind the screen and love that the stitching continues behind it. Love details like that that they could have easily skimped on.

I've loved the look of these since they came out. I think I would have to drive it to see if I really liked it, but a lot of reviews said they left too many similarities to the Nissan pathfinder. I leased a q50 sedan back in 2015 and it was nice but also just "fine". I think infiniti needs to focus on defining characteristics. You said the ride is firm but that wouldn't be what I wanted if I purchased this.

It is a good-looking vehicle, the profile being almost Range Rover-esque. My wife and I were going to get one in January of this year but ended up not doing so. It's a more luxurious looking vehicle than the MDX, but when we actually got behind the wheel, that cockpit sensation that was present with the MDX when we test drove it was missing. Inside was great looking, but it was more like my grandfather type look. For me, it lacked a youthful vibe, and so despite it being better looking as far as luxurious looks is concerned than the MDX, we chose the MDX for the nibble drive performance and huggy cockpit type sensation and 6 months later we still love the choice we made. My wife and I instantly felt the difference when we stepped inside the QX60, and we were disappointed because it had the exterior look we liked. But the MDX exterior was sporty enough, an upscale enough, especially when you add the body side moldings it that made us have no regrets. Both are good vehicles...it just depends on what appeals to you.

I drove one Saturday, yesterday, and the ride was very firm over the sections of concrete. It was so firm I was surprised and it was my main complaint. I told the managers and they said nobody else mentioned that. And maybe the tires were over inflated. They said if I wanted to ride on a cloud then I should look at the QX80. I also didn’t like the vibration when auto start/stop engaged. But it’s very comfortable and gives a nice impression. 4-way lumbar is great. The power is good. And try steering is more on the loose side of things. I’m used to the tighter steering of Mazdas

I like this QX60, its bigger than a Lexus RX, but I want some performance so I bought a RX500H... • @bassy09
      @bassy09 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I went the opposite way. I test drove the RX500h and felt underwhelmed by its performance. The horsepower and torque numbers look good on paper, but they don't quite translate to actual performance on the road. The RX500h has 71hp and 136ft-lb of torque more than the QX60, yet it's barely quicker 0-60mph (5.5 vs 6.2). The ride is harsher, and I didn't like how skinny the tires look from behind (only 235mm wide; 255mm for the QX60). I test drove the new Mazda CX-90 and Lexus RX500h and I ended up with the Infiniti QX60 Autograph.

I looked at a AMG glc43 but after driving a used with with 30k on it, the rattles were crazy.. the Lexus is like driving a stick of butter down the street, and the mark levinson 1800 watt sound system blows away anything I have owned previously.. I like infinity. I’ve own one before but previously, they looked very different from Nissan. Nowadays they look very obviously Nissan. Especially this one. The smaller qx50 looks the most like a standalone brand. It doesn’t look like a rebadged Nissan. This one is obvious that’s it’s a pathfinder. Then you have the q50 that they seem to been neglecting. That car is outdated compared to its competitors. Then you have the naming scheme that no one understands. Qx50 sounds like a a bigger model but it’s the smallest. Qx60 sounds like it’s a super large model but it’s their medium sized model. Then the Qx56 sounds like it’s smaller model than the qx60 but it’s actually their largest model and it’s over 10 years old. All these things create no hype and no interest for infiniti and that’s why you don’t see these qx60 on the road. Right now, BMW could release ANYTHING, and people will buy it because there is hype and a desire to own a BMW.

The QX56 had its name changed to QX80 years ago to signify the largest SUV in the lineup, then 70, 60 etc. A lot of 'hype' with BMW, which quickly dies down once you start experiencing the maintenance nightmare. But I do agree with you on some of the design. They must distinguish themselves from Nissan, and they have plenty of of past concepts which still look modern to rely on.

I'll tell you why I would never purchase either again unless they fix the following problems: the biggest problem is the engine/transmission gets buried in gears (I assume it's for fuel economy)so the take offs from a dead stop are very decent but trying to accelerate after you take your foot off the gas pedal while it's rolling it's it's completely dead for like 10-20 seconds even when you floor it....sometimes the rpm's will go to redline and makes the noise but the car doesn't respond...the best way to tell is to put it in manually mode at 35 mph it's already in 9th gear. It shifts into 2nd gear after half a second. At 6800 miles my transmission went up. It was covered under the warranty.
And then there are other little things such as sometimes when you start the car up the HVAC won't blow until you turn it off and the turn it back on. Then sometimes the volume knob on the radio/navigation gets stuck, the only way to reset it is to pull over turn off the car and open the driver's door then restart it....I'd consider buying either one again once the fix those and other problems.

Theres lots of reasons why Infiniti isnt selling well, ex. This QX60 exterior is way too smoot & feminine looking, not aggressive enough! Interior wise, both panels are way too small esp the touch screen looks like the old bmw style! Also most of nissan products are like driving a boat, steering wont stay straight line! For this price point, theres tons of competitors like MDX, RX, GLC, X3, XC60 or model Y.

That’s one subjective view, shared by many, but far from all. I think it’s very attractive, but I don’t see it as luxurious at all. I’ve seen people saying it, but I just don’t see it. I am also not alone.

I drove the Mazda cx90 yesterday and it was $55,000 for the Rhodium White with hybrid plug in. The premium S is more expensive of course. The steering is more precise but the one I drove still didn’t have ventilated seats. I was shocked. The cup holders are too small for larger styrofoam restaurant cups. There is no perfect car but I was nice. Captains chairs for second row versus the bench.

@@TheHardcardyou are right. I drive a new Mazda CX90 yesterday. It’s nice and has leather and the power equipment of course but I wouldn’t say it’s luxury. It didn’t even have ventilated seats for $55,000 but it was the plug-in hybrid. It’s similar to the previous CX9, as you already know.
