Excellent video brother.. I absolutely love cichlids...
Thank you for a great, peaceful, and relaxing video.
I love the camping videos! Thank you :>
You better off using worms
Same results
JC you're a real trooper for this one brother! Them dang mosquitoes would've had me tapping out before sundown lol! You got the right setup for the trip though, Everglades is no joke! Great video brother 😁👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Good ol everglades fishin
Awesome JC. Can't wait for part 2!
Thumbs up 👍 n the Louisiana crispy... That's the best.
Heck yeah JC. Been waiting on another truck camping adventure! 👍🏻👍🏻🤙🏻
One of the best videos my friend 😀💪
Mayans are the freshwater mangrove snappers
Yea they're pretty good eating...they are as vicious as Snapper.
@@frankiev-tech4630
Excellent fight
Oh ya. Yum Yum ! 😊
Simply Awesome !!! Thumbs Up 👍
get some crappie jigs, cheap at walmart you can catch all those fish with them easy
Florida bridge fishing is so sketchy with all the fast moving cars 😅. Only in Florida.
South Florida is a special place. Very tough, desolate in some places but absolutely beautiful!!! JC you Have to have a thermacell!! Maybe you already have one but if not GET ONE!!! Or three
My favorite camping vid yet sweeeet
Just wanted to tell you, I’m enjoying watching your channel. Your a super cool dude! I really enjoyed the Skyway camping video.
I've caught 2 Mayans so far in the Hillsborough River on a white rooster tail.. I released them but was tempted to try them for table fare...
Hey buddy your vids come in handy since I don't do much fishing anymore.I will tell you that if you find moving water you'll find the fish almost always in the glades.
Tight lines J.C keep em coming.
That station outside of Everglades City is a rip off, you had only a few miles into EC and Everglades Fishing Company (better price on gas and all the tackle you could ever imagine)… BTW, those were Myans.
I just added a power port to my new truck yesterday. Only difference is it's connected to my block heater, battery warmer and battery charger/maintainer so my truck will start when it's cold AF!!!! ;) However I do have a 30 amp connection for the camper in the bed and when off grid a built in 7.2kw generator that runs off the hybrid battery and when it gets low the engine starts to charge it back up. She's mint for primitive camping and boondocking. :)
Welcome to Southwest Florida how many mosquitoes lap dance.
And your darker colors in the beetle spins always work the best I use nothing but black.
On route 29 the canals produce a lot of mine, cichlids and oscars.
I love this type of video, so I'm glad you're finally got back to doing them. But you really need use some Thermocell And those are Oscars.
Fishing my neck of the woods jc! Was there a couples of weeks ago
Fly tying is always extra useful on fishing road trip. You can always tie more lures and they catch just as many fish.
JC these were great videos try and go after snakeheads in the future.
379 degrees! Awesome video!
Big fan of this type of videos man! Realistic and good! I hope to see more like this!
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Awesome stuff dude
Love your vids and your attitude. Go for it.
I love this video so much!!! Advice for the bugs, Thermacell. It will blow your mind how it gets rid of ALL OF THEM!!!!! Especially mosquitos!!
Hello JC happy to see a new fishing video tonight love your fishing 🎣 video and great energy I still have the pompano teasers you did and that I won on one of your giveaway a long time ago 👍🏽🎣 lots of love JC
You need to get you a little portable air conditioning, JC
I really enjoyed this 🎣👌
Those bugs are unreal!
Really good video JC!
Great video!!!!
Brutal trip lol looks like a good time.
Like shootin fish in a barrel, eh JC ?
Nice one, haven't seen you in a while.
Nice
living the dream wake up and do what you want . love it
I have watched a lot of your videos and dig the content. I've noticed you like using Ugly Stiks among other rods. I also use Ugly Stiks and was wondering if you can recommend an Ugly Stik model that would be considered fast action for jigging. I've noticed Ugly Stiks have a power rating on their rods but not action ratings. I use a Tiger elite now but want something with less bend.
No recommendations. Thanks for watching the videos.
Been watching your videos and following you for quite some time now. I'd have to say this is one of my favorite videos so far. Not once was I distracted. I stayed focused on the video the whole time and enjoyed the journey with you. I think this type of video gets to display your skills and hobbies all together. It was enjoyable to see something different besides just constant fishing lol. It's what will make your channel just a bit different from the rest and I feel your gifted in this. Good stuff and thanks for making this one. ✌️
Hey JC, I'm setting up a big aquarium soon and want a little Peacock like you caught. Plan to go exactly where you did.
Have caught Mayan Cichlids (just like your first one in the bag) there but no Peacocks yet. Last trip, I brought home three small Mayans for my next door neighbors aquarium. 5 months later, they are still doing good.
You should be within about 30-40 minutes of the closest Walmart going towards Naples.
If you go to Everglades City, the cost of gas goes down by a dollar (or more) vs. along the Tamiami Highway (41). It's a cool little town.
Come to miami the south florida area here is full of peacock bass i catch them all the time!
What are you using to cover your windows and are you using an inverter for that fan?
Here's my truck camping build where I detail about what the window covers are made of and how I made them. th-cam.com/video/Ri5ZmbqlOQI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=h5SW_es7Z6q_5o3M The fan was powered from the campsite electricity, but I do own several power stations that I could have brought along.
Amazing video, love the change of pace
Saltwater hasn't been treating me great either so hit a lake the other day. About 40 bass in 3 hours nonstop action and even a 5.3 pounder!
Great episode JC
Nice… when’s part 2 coming?
tonight at 7
You need to sharpen your knife
Thanks for watching. I'm going to get a different knife. That one was sharp, but it's too flexible.
Good video bro.
JC, how much do you pay for your fishing sinkers up there in FL? Curiosity..here in Brazil I pay $10 per 2,2lbs
I'm not sure what the comparison in price would be, but I pay a lot more.
Why are u not using leader
I was using leader, just 12 lb. I upped it to 15 in the next vid.
I had to give this a like just for you putting up with those bugs at dinner. I wouldn’t been able to do it. I could hear them buzzing in my ear buds like I was there with you lol. 👍🏻
I hit the 75 last year, coming out of Pensacola- first time in 20 years! It's 3 lanes now....
We used to go and dig through the piles from alligator alley being widened, pull fossil sand dollars out.
Florida has grown...
JC this is my absolute favorite thing to do. Adventuring I call it. Whether it's fishing/hunting/camping or best yet all 3. New restaurants, new roads, new water, new woods, and new people. Almost every weekend I do this. I've yet to hit the Everglades yet though but it's high on my list. And the keys. Love it brother, do this as much as possible 🤙🤙
Heck Yea!!!!!!!!
Great video! Love that you share the highs and lows of fishing.
Love to see the passion for fishing.
I love your videos especially the ones where you do something unique from the usual ones, are you gonna be doing any night snook fishing soon?
Within the next couple of months I'll be targeting some big Snook for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I’m from south Florida I use 20 # fluorocarbon leader with excellent results
Yeah but for Tarpon and Snook you need 30lb if your encounter them there. Those abrasive mouths will cut through 20 like butter. Gar even to 40
@@frankiev-tech4630 that's why Im using lately a stainless steel fishing line wire leader, 15 to 20 inches.
Man i didnt want this video to end. Thanks for the entertainment!
From experience I knew that gar was going to break/cut your line when you lifted him, oh well rerig and get er done. Jealous of you in the glades. 👍🐊
Looks like fun 😎
Your videos are always fun
Dude no way! You're down here in the Glades! That's awesome man! Glad you changed it up! Yeah to me the side of the road catches are the best! Whenever I make a trip to those areas even on my pee break...I always catch surprises! I love these type of videos! Careful out there my man! This is the time on this weather to catch beasts there. I've had awesome luck with the Slam Shady and Gold Digger there. BELIEVE ME you're going to get mad views for this!
😀OMG, I think I just peed my pants, absolutely love your videos especially the camping trips. Love the way you capture the real events of your adventures, great job JC!! Those Mayans and Cichlids are in every canal down there, good eating too, FUN to catch.
Wow, gotta be the best outtake I've seen in a while, well done
Living the dream. In 2001 to 2005, I fished up and down the Atlantic and Gulf on weekends and vacations, then hit the keys. I fished those little bridges and got some good action there. I thought lately that I was having bad luck saltwater fishing with little amount. Hope to hit freshwater this winter. Keep up the videos.
Good one!!
