- In this video we returned to Chiang Mai after spending a few days in Chiang Rai.
We went on the hunt for Chiang Mai’s famous Cowboy Hat Lady and her delicious Braised Pork Street Food.
We also stumbled across a local Thai market, Siri Wattana market in Santitham, Chiang Mai that was full of amazing Thai Street food.

It’s so good! It’s definitely slower paced, not sure if that’s the effect of the world right now or not but it’s relaxed, less busy than Chiang Mai, still has good coffee shops and sites to see! And it’s beautifully decorated with golden towers etc in the streets! 😁😁

Yes we will go there for sure! We are still planning where to go, we just decided on Bangkok next but I definitely want to go to Phuket and some of the islands! We just aren't sure when yet!

the first donut you ate - the stick ones - are, in fact, called pathongo as you said. it's the thai take on youtiao. great as a topping for jok/porridge or, when by itself, is served with sweetened condensed milk. although, i think in current time, a lot of stalls also do pandan sauce as you mentioned as well.
the round one is kaew ta bo. that one is sweeter and generally unsauced.
Ahh I was right! haha. I wish we got the condensed milk but I just didn't know to ask! haha they were yummy anyway, just better with the milk! 😂 thank you 😊

Example: อันนี้ราคาเท่าไหร่คะ=Un Nee Raka Tao Rai Ka. Or Un Nee Tao Rai Ka. It's mean How much is it?
"อันนี้Un Nee" This term is used in place of everything you want to know. by pointing to that and instead call that thing "Un " and the word "นี้Nee,Ni" means "This" and "นั้นNan,Nun" means "That".
Example อันนี้ราคาเท่าไหร่=Un Nee Raka Tao Rai=What is the price of this item?

Oh I love coffee too! I do like Thai coffee but it’s usually sweet and I don’t like sugar in coffee. Is there a way I can have Thai coffee with no sweet? I think it’s made with sweet?
