SOIA is one of the best group of guys I've ever met I've seen them over a 100 times over the years and they are all humble as can be before they go on they're out mingling with the crowd and if you didn't know who they were you'd think they were there for the show like you the up most respect for them my favorite band hands down
Lou is such a good, down to earth guy! Peace Elliot. Have a nice holiday season. These interviews with punk and metal bands were priceless/golden when you were a kid. Bobby Blitz, Kirk Windstein, Phil Anselmo come to mind.
Kiddo youre Killin these interviews.. I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors keep doing your thang.. I seen Sick of It All numerous times all the way back to 86 or 87 their 1st show in DC Lou is such an awesome guy and his true identity is what he just gave you..
I agree with Lou, I mix my love of Hardcore and metal too. I'm 45 and I grew up on the exact same bands..Maiden, Venom, Priest, Motorhead, Mercyful Fate, Celtic Frost, but I also listened to Agnostic Front, DRI, Sick of It All, Crumbsuckers. Heck the last 4 albums I bought were a Marduk album, Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Pentagram, and Murphy's Law. I got Exploited box set coming the mail. I can go from Black/death metal to Madball, or Circle Jerks in the blink of an eye.
I'll say what everyone else is because it's true. Coolest, friendliest band ever. Saw them in 95 at the long defunct Nsect club in Hampton VA. Lou just wanted to talk and hang out with fans after the gig. Tells me, who he just met, to go meet the rest of the guys outside on the bus. You don't get that from other people. ✊✊ And to the young hardcore punk brother... You're part of a generations deep family, my man. Complete strangers looking out each other at shows who stay in the scene and become lifetime friends. Keep up the good work and stay true and grow within the scene. And be grateful that you are in a family that allows and encourages you doing this work. Not all of us did.
Lou is such a great guy. I used to see them every year when they'd play Chicago. We would always be hanging out on the streets near the venue and he and Pete would remember us every time.
How cool man! Lou from sick of it all just chillin in your room. One lucky little dude! I love sick of it all! Amazing band! One of my favorite songs is “Consume”!
He’s a sweetheart! He’s very humble but then again all of the band members are extremely sweet! Armand is a sweetheart! I’ve met them all and they’re great sweet guys 😎

Played Munich today, saw them last time +10yrs back in NYC an they just nailed it once more in 2022 w/o any second of disappointment. Legends, super nice dudes though!! Good lookin out!! 🥰🥰 even with pizza addict shirt 🫡
I met Lou Koller in 2005 after being sucker punched at an SOIA show. A massive Skinhead picked me up, put me on this shoulders and marched straight through the pit, where I got on stage. I don't know who the Skinhead was, but Lou was a Gentleman.
Lou Koller is one of the nicest, most humble humans you'll ever meet. Craig Setari is unbelievably funny.
Absolutely!!!
Well done brother it's so cool that you are interested in the same rock and roll bands as me 💙💑👍 have you interview papa roach ?
