I'm good friends with the band Pentagram. They opened for Down in Philly in 2012, and I was on the VIP list. Go to party a bit with Phil. He was funny as hell.
When I met Phil I told him I been waiting my whole life to meet him and he squeezed my shoulder and gave me a big hug. It put tears in my eyes and lump in my throat. This is awesome

I always get impressed how Elliot is SUPER tough, he doesn't look even A BIT scared of who he's interviewing, his interviews are lessons about many things, but mostly about posture, a true gentleman, nerves of adamantium! And also very humble, a example in everything. You show true love on what you do Elliot, keep this same pace at whatever you do and congratulations.

Phil's best interview I've ever seen. He really opens up when his guard is down and shows he really is a decent guy. That question about Dime was a gut punch. Drugs can make people into something that they don’t even recognize themselves. And you can tell that Phil has a lot of pain about what happened with Dimebag. Also, this kid actually surprised Phil with his thoughtful questions. This was a legit interview

Everything is beautiful about this. I think having kids do interviews, makes for allot more interesting and down to earth questions and also answers. This interview shows you allot more of Phil's personality than any other interview.

Seeing what I’d always considered to be one of the angriest vocalists in the history of music be so down to earth and genuine throughout this interview is something that I’ll never forget. This was without a doubt one of the sweetest and most heartwarming things I’ve ever seen in my life.

Been a fan of Phil (And Pantera) since I "accidentally" stole my father's Pantera cassette with Cowboys from Hell back in 90, yet I never knew that he was a Lovecraft fan, now he's even cooler, knowing that fact!
