Outstanding joe. Awesome first blood my friend. Congratulations brother. These models are built really good. Awesome addition to your collection 👍🏻🇺🇸long live Rambo
Thanx Donavan! It is a really 🆒 Knife. I put gorilla Glue epoxy in the handle,… just enough to really secure the blade extra good. I think I could use it confidently now.
Nice review Joe! Exceptional Sharpness on The Blade! I bought mine years ago. Did not come as sharp as yours. They must be making them sharper these days. Great idea by the way with the glue to strengthen the tang!
Thanx. I appreciate it. I heard the older versions had less Saw Teeth on the spine. 🤷🏻♂️. The newer ones have 14 saw teeth. I read that somewhere I believe. I’m Not certain though. Could just be quality control also. Mine might be one of the newer versions. I’m glad mine arrived with a sharp blade.
@@SoldierDrew ,… JoeX does a destruction test of this knife I believe and Donnie B All Day does a normal field test of this knife and it performs fine. DBK also hard tests this knife on TH-cam. It’s a budget friendly, collectible version of the Lile Rambo knife. Just way more affordable. It’s supposed to be a wall hanger to be admired but if you use it responsibly it can be a decent knife. I put epoxy down inside the handle, to better secure the blade. I’d rather have this knife than No knife in a SHTF scenario. 😝. Thanks for watching & commenting, I appreciate it. 👍🏻🔪
@@stevemccallum6429 ,… It’s just a Hollywood Collectibles. Nothing great, but I put epoxy down inside the hollow handle, and it’s substantially stronger now. You could actually use it now,…within reason of course. I wouldn’t Baton a big log or anything like that. It can slice, stab, make feather sticks, tent stakes, split small sticks for kindling, cut rope, paracord, fishing line, etc., etc., plus it has fishing gear, matches, bandaids inside the handle. The sheath is pretty good too. The epoxy makes a lot of difference. The knife isn’t half bad now.
@@poolee77 ,… This knife really works. I don’t know what else I can say. It works as good as any other budget knife that’s made in China. It’s Not a Randall, but it’s not all bad. It stabs, it slices, it’s a knife. Put epoxy down inside the handle like I did and it’s even better.
Ya. It’s definitely more of a collector/display piece. The funny thing is,… the high end , hollow handle survival knives, all use epoxy down inside the handles. This knife would hold up way better as a self defense knife than a bushcraft knife, where you’re chopping wood. 🔪
If you want self defense get a firearm. But yes, this is a collector knife first and foremost. Real working hollow handles are usually threaded to the handle, steel pinned, then epoxied
@@poolee77 ,… It is pinned to the handle. I added epoxy down inside the handle. It is very secure now. It’s as good as any 420-440 stainless steel knife from China. I wouldn’t baton logs with it but self defense and feather sticks and tent stakes, cutting rope, or paracord, it performs just fine. Plus it has some basic survival gear inside the handle. What’s Not to like? 👍🏻
@@edwinabbel3783 ,… I agree that it is budget quality and made in China,… probably not meant for extended, hard use, like the original Lile Rambo knife was. - I have a cold steel Wild West Bowie. They are made in Pakistan by the company Windlass for cold steel. They’re Not that great in my honest opinion,… They certainly are not Rambo style, survival knives either. I did put epoxy down inside the handle to secure the Blade which is thick 420 stainless steel. It doesn’t seem to be any worse than any other 420 stainless steel knives that I own. Thanx for watching & commenting. 👍🏻🔪

I have A Signature Of Stallone Version of this Knife 1 out of 10,000.

Waste of money buying this when you have to use glue. Good for collecting though. Bad for self defense.
