I have mine posed in the woodland ponchos looked holding the knife and it perfectly represents the look from the film for me so I’m very happy with the figure.

This video does not do justice to the head sculpt. I just got mine in and almost fell to the floor...holy cow he looks just like Stallon. Awesome head sculpt. Looks exactly like a young Stallone Rambo. Love it. Well worth the $200 bucks.

@@JustinsCollection you dont agree? If you dont, im curious why you prefer the three zero heads then? I too prefer the three zero heads because the likeness to sly is better. Why you do as well, if you dont agree the likeness being closer to sly?
I was looking for a Rocky 1/6 and stumbled upon this, considering first blood part 1 is one of my fave all time movies this is beyond a no brainer, also movie was filmed an hour from my home town which is awesome.

Hi Justin! Hope you are well :) I’m so happy 3/0 made this figure, while it’s different from the other versions, I have to admit that the accessories are really nice.
The physique is pretty good too, Rambo must have that conditioned look. Overall the fighter looks good and I’m more amazed by how much the cost of the figure is. It’s a great bargain for such an iconic character. Thanks for the video 😊💎

Back in the day when ThreeA, Threezero, and Underverse were all one company, they STILL didn't include bases with their figures. The bulk of my collection is Ashley Wood 3A figures that ive had to replace ankle joints on multiple times from freestanding for many years. They are my prized possessions and I love what they do now, but DAMN they'd be so much better with a stand LOL

The tank top fits a little too good and is cut a little too perfect for me. In the film is actually an inside out sweater that was cut. The sleeves and neck were cut, so the neck shouldn't have a seam. I don't think the arm holes should have seams either, but they might've been cut on the seam. And it should have the elastic on the bottom
I think you’r confusing it with the canvas sheet thing he cut a circle in for his head, to make a poncho with. But it’s been years since I watched FB.
@@georgeleorgebeorge2354 trust me I would not confuse a strip of canvas with a sweater. Look it up. It was an Adidas sweater. I think it was tan and not actually gray.

Not just an 80s movie poster style/aesthetic, that IS the original Drew Struzan art! Which is nice to see as Drew was the master and defined those movies and decade as much as the movies themselves. Great figure and nice grubby weathering. Agreed on the boots though. For me personally the official Sly HS looks a bit cartoony next to this. It really does look like it's the same 3/0 head sculpt as their Rambo 3 one to me though, just with different hair and paint job. Anyway great stuff and thanks for the video!

I think the Stallone shop Rambo is the better sculpt but this has the better accessories.

Glad I chose this one over the Stallone direct version. No surprise Sly wanted it taller on his version, since he's known for wearing lifts. I'll be going with the poncho / knife simplicity and use the bandoliers and M60 to make a custom GI Joe Rock and Roll.

'Rambo 3' definitely a better head sculpt, especially up close. The new slystallone shop ''First Blood' is the definitive version so far. This is a decent version though.

Awesome review. I just disagree about the display bases. Not everyone uses them. It'll just increase the price.
It will barely increase the price and it takes display-ability to a whole new level
I plan on picking these up but I will definitely body swap it as seamless are a no go for me. Sorry but I want my figures to last and not deteriorate in 2 months after a simple pose

I've never owned a seamless, or 1/6 scale, or threezero figure, I was wondering if there are specific things other than the cracking to be aware about. Maybe some tips on how to handle a piece such as this? Such as..would the arms crack over time if I didn't mess with them at all? I'm just a little confused on how to handle something such as this! Amazing review good sir! Any tips for a piece such as this would be very helpful!
Just don't bend the arms any you'll be right!
Returned mine, the right arm can't hold it's bend, even at 90 degrees. I see this one doesn't either. For $200, it should hold it's pose.
I mean they went with seamless arms for realism not posing

Must look better in person because that head sculpt doesn’t look anything like Sly IMHO. Rambo III version is still the best by a long shot.

@@JustinsCollection OK, you’re reply made me go back and take a second look. My first impression may have been a little off. It definitely does look like Sly, but I still prefer the Rambo III version.
I'm still awaiting for mine to ship from SS. This figure looks amazing. Threezero is definitely getting better and better. I had no doubt that this figure was gonna be great, as the last one was stunning. Once the Slyshop Rambo figure and this one arrive from SS, I'll have a figure from the first 3 movies. Wondering if they'll tackle a version from Rambo 4, as that was also a pretty darn good film in my opinion, and he was absolutely BRUTAL to the bad guys. My fingers are 🤞. Great video review Justin, as always. Keep up the great work.

Thanx for the review. I have this on pre-order. I’m super concerned on those seamless arms! They look awesome but I’m afraid I won’t be able to pose him the way I want too and lest of all leave him in that pose! I will have to pose him as you have him in the straight up no pose on the turn table. 😭

Sick figure! Can't wait to get my copy!🤤 Could've done a better job with the head sculpt though. The Part III Rambo head sculpt looks alot more like Sly than the Part I version. Oh, and thanks for explaining how to insert the knife into the wooden stick BTW.👌

I just think he doesn't look the same from First Blood to Rambo 3. So obviously the figures are not supposed to look the same. He was also younger so he doesn't look like what you currently know Sly to look like. Just like Rocky 1, he looks pale and he changes as the movies go on.
@@willgamez5555 It's all subjective and we all have different views. I see your point, but I expect him to be mostly the same. It's the same guy after all. We're not talking about 2 different actors playing the part of Rambo here. Sylvester Stallone was alot more muscular and his hair was longer in part 3 compared to part 1, but that's it for the differences from my point of view. If you want to talk about necessary changes, Three Zero should've given us a new body for this figure instead of just re-using the same body they used for their Rambo 3 figure.

Great review justine. Figure really does look good and could have been a home run minus those wrist pegs (will try and hide with a watch of something) and no diorama. I think threezero need to take a leaf from damtoys / vts and kaustic Plastik in relation to diorama stands. Will make a massive improvement.
I prefer the rambo 3 look, but I do love this battle damaged weathered figure. Maybe joint best for the moment. Plus hoping in time to have one of those rambo's next to my commando figure with some kind of jungle diorama. Very 80s and love it.
