I sold my 89 United Cutlery First Blood Part II after i aquired a genuine LILE (the real thing) but now in 2024 after i seen a guy on a knife forum using it in the wood (splitting wood) i say : "Damn...have to get one back in the knives collection , since it was the MOST SOUGHT AFTER knife in the 80's. I had the HARDEST time to search/seek the good old United Cutlery version (better made than the Mastercultery/Hollywood Collectible group ones...) but i FINALLY found one in awesome shape in Japan. can't wait to receive it and stab it in my wood display at home. such an ICONIC design. in my opinion its THE movie time of all time even before ANY other Rambo movies / Predator (1987) etc etc.
Please remember that these are movie memorabilia, NOT USERS. Almost all hollow handle knives will break at the base of the blade, where it meets the handle( exceptions include the Aparo, the Chris Reeves hollow handle knives and Schrade's copies ). These knives are also too big to be practical, according to a military survival instructor that I knew when my father was in the Army. As wall-hangers, they are great conversation pieces, and they certainly look cool, so by all means, if you like these knives, go ahead and buy one. For a survival knife, you'd be better served by a Gerber Strongarm or Prodigy. They're full-tang with a nylon pouch to hold survival items.
Is there any spec on the knife, except the box? I mean grade of steel, rockwell hardness, grind of blade and secondary bevel? Would be nice to have more information on manufacturers, country of origin and numbers produced. I know this is a movie prop knife but would be nice to have more details other than what it looks like. Interesting Anyway.
The only 95 seen that may be a solid survival knife with a Halo handle which I agree is definitely not something you want but there is a buckmaster 184 I believe it is
Re-bought it for the 3rd time just to use it lightly in the wood. filling the inside of the Good old United Cutlery (1:1) with steel expoxy make is very solid i even see a guy batonning with it !
I got the first three from the Hollywood Collectibles Group. The fifth one from Stallone shop. The fourth one you gotta search around a little bit. I was looking for the signature series but if you go regular it’s a little less limiting
That’s really tough because I enjoyed them all and just recently watched the final one. If I had to rank: 1 - First Blood 2- Rambo 4 3 - First Blood II 4 - Last Blood 5 - Rambo III (and I do enjoy this one too!)

Nice! Glad you were able to find one of the originals!
The second movie in the series has some of my all time favorite scenes including the eyes opening when covered with mud and the explosive arrow heads.
Yea, great scenes for sure. Part II was awesome
Yes. I so good.
👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you!! I appreciate it
the first film remains for the best

Interesting Anyway.
This may have inspired me to watch the movies!
That’s great!! “Mission accomplished “
Does this knife even have a tang. I wouldn't wanna use it in an actual survival situation
It does and its screwed into the hollow handle. Being a replica knife, I agree, probably not the best for an actual survival situation

Its really sharp?

What’s the price?
On most websites they go for around $100-$150
What’s your ranking of the movies??
That’s really tough because I enjoyed them all and just recently watched the final one. If I had to rank:
1 - First Blood
2- Rambo 4
3 - First Blood II
4 - Last Blood
5 - Rambo III (and I do enjoy this one too!)
the knife from the first film is better I think it's more of a survival knife and the sheath is more beautiful
